Chapter Nineteen
“Well… That about sums everything up. For now at least.” Montai finished off his talk with the elders and his two brothers. Boa and Mohe. With perfect timing too. As soon as he finished Lelani and Nile were coming through the doors.
Now every one of importance was here. The elders, Montai’s brothers, Montai and his Queen. With everyone taking their seats in their respectable places the meeting could now start. Lelani standing next to Montai as she spoke swiftly and quickly
“There is much to share with you and very little time to do so. Let me be blunt and quick about this. That skinwalker we killed was a clan leader. Killing a clan leader kills everything of its kind. Therefore the skinwalkers have officially been taken care of.
However, Lannister is a madman who likes to possess and claim women with power. He may not be that strong. But its the beasts around them and what they bring as a whole that is the problem.”
Lelani began walking around the large meeting table as she began to tell the stories of the creatures one by one.
“Let’s start with Lannister. There’s not much to know. He loves killing innocent women in slow torturous ways. He believes it makes the blood taste sweeter. Because of this, he leaves a foul stench you can smell a mile away. He’s fast and somewhat strong. By himself he’s nothing but he’s tied to the Blood Elves.
Blood Elves… are supposed to be the superior version of humans. They have no magical gifts other than the fact they can live centuries without aging. The knowledge within them is what makes them such valuable team members. That and the fact that they are wicked with a bow. They know the weakness of every creature. Have a counter move for almost every battle plan. They are the ones that have created Lannister’s war plan. The Blood Elves are not stupid and know they can’t fight magic. So… They found Jinns.
Rare creatures that came before genies. They are not bound to rules or a lamp. Their magic is infinite and can take forms even I have never seen before. However, using their magic can leave them defenseless with their eyes shut.
So for the extra brute force, they gathered up trolls. Need I say much about them? We all know how massive and strong they are. In the past, they could kill a pack of Lycans with one blow.
It’s the perfect group of supernatural beings for a war. The elders can no longer fight. This means it would be Montai, I, and the three of you. Boa, Nile, and Mohe. will be the only ones fighting.”
With that, she fell silent. Sitting at the chair next to Montai as she waited for everyone to gather their thoughts. She could see the loss of hope on their face. In reality, this was a battle they could not win. However, there was at least one way. Dangerous, but a way nonetheless
“You all should know there is a way to stop them. The magic to do so is dark and in time you will all learn your part in putting this magic into place. For now, just defend whatever human needs defending. We’ll hold them off as long as possible until the spells ready.”
Montai’s face looked sick. Like he was on the verge of throwing up. Everyone at the table knowing the truth but one. You could see the glum look on all the faces except for Nile who truly thought there was hope. Only, because Nile didn’t know the full plan. Montai was about to speak but before he could do so Lelani dismissed herself and fled down the corridor with haste.
