Chapter Twenty
**~ Earth Realm, Just outside the magical border ~ Lannister ~**
Lannister walked at a slower pace than usual. Small beads of sweat dripping from his brow as he huffed. This would be an excellent plan. Although the Blood Elf walking side by side with Lannister didn’t seem to think so.
“For a superior being, you are always full of doubt. The plan is going well. Better than expected. They have nowhere to run too and even if they did they would never flee. They have nothing compared to the army we have built together. We an unstoppable. All we need to do is pull them out of hiding before they figure out the one and only thing that can destroy us.”
Lannister could hear the scoff from his mouth and see the low grin start to take to the Blood Elves face. A flicker of annoyance ticking in his jaw. He was tired of trying to prove himself to those who thought they were greater than he. Who was this blood elf to mock him? A higher being with no name to even give himself. As Lannister continued to grunt pulling the heavy weight behind him he looked at the elf through the corner of his eyes.
A typical being who in his eyes was more basic than perfect. Creamy white smooth skin. Long silky grey hair with grey eyes. Pointy ears. Slim body. No special defining features. Out of all the supernatural creatures the elves seemed to all look the same. And yet they had the nerve to think they were superior. Maybe it was because of how old their minds were. After all, they could live for centuries and never age.
Taking his eyes off the appearance of the elf only to lay his gaze upon the borders barrier before them.
“You know I could use your help.”
On that note, Lannister dropped what he had been dragging along with him the entire time. Three females on the brick of death. They looked beautiful unlike his other victims Lannister hadn’t done anything morbid to them. Simply drank their blood until they were barely clinging to life. He knew the sound of their fading heartbeats followed by his scent outside the border would force Lelani to come.
True, she may bring that beastly thing she called a husband with her but a mutt with a bad temper would be easy to tame. If need be the battle could start and end here for all he cared. He had more than enough man for the battle and he was ready at any cost.
