Chapter 19

" ... still her strong effect on her. And where is this healer? " Looking around and not seeing any trace of her, he decided to carry Fiona outside since there didn't have time to waste there. Also, Zaria was complaining, worried that the bandits could come that way anytime soon.

With a Fiona lying on his arm, he walked up to the group. " She is still unconscious, what do we do?" Elsa asked observing the sleeping lady. " She looks even beautiful now that her wound is now healed." Elsa added in admiration.

Hearing those words gave Fiona butterflies in her stomach and she wondered if Raphael found her beautiful as well, especially now he saw her naked view. How trilled she felt that she didn't realize she smiled to the notice of Zaria. 

" Aren't you sure this lady is awake now?" Zaria asked acting all suspicious.

" She just got healed Zaria, cut her some slack. She needs to rest. " Elsa almost snapped at her but decided to control herself.

I couldn't understand what exactly Zaria's problem was. She was acting like a jealous girlfriend! She tries to find fault in Everything Anna did.

" You won't understand what she is going through Zaria, you have never felt like you are the only one in the world. You have never felt what it is it to loss every member of your kin to something you can't even explain. So, please be nice to her! She is trying hard to fit into the group so she doesn't die of loneliness. " I said calmly to Zaria as I thought about about my family and how I got to this point having experienced alot in the hands of madam Hornet.

Heaving a sigh of relief, Zaria spoke.

" Apart from preparing you for the role you have to play, no one else and nothing else matters to me. I see all this as distractions, who knows what the weredragons are planning now. You think they will keep quiet and wait for you to fully access your powers? You think they will keep still and watch the savior of the werewolves rise? They are very cunny, full of tactics and they will stop at nothing to wipe our kind out of existence. Who knows where they are now watching us? You need to run your wolf, you need to run your dra... " 

" That's enough Zaria." Raphael interrupted her. " We understand you but like I said I need the information this lady has and we don't know she can hear us, so keep quiet. " Raphael snapped before putting Fiona on his back so as to spend the night in the village ahead of them.

" Elsa, I'm hungry." Zoe finally said because at that moment, that was his only problem. 

" Even me." Elsa responded.

" Hold on till we get into the village, then Elsa and I would go and hunt. That is a basic skill she needs as an Alpha.

Entering the city, we came across a fine house with no one in it. We wondered why anyone would desert such beautiful house. Zaria checked the whole house and found everything perfectly arranged.

" Let's spend some time here." Raphael said lying the still sleeping Fiona on the bed.

" There is something about this place..." Zoe said running his eyes all over the house.

" I guess that feeling is as a result of this house being deserted in a while. Zaria you take care of the two, we will be back" Raphael announced motioning on Elsa to follow him.

As Soon mad they left, Zaria who was feeling suffocated stepped out to the back of the house and decided to run her wolf since Anna was still sleeping. Zoe who hadn't gotten to the age he could transform yet, decided to watch her as she howled and ran around the open field. She kept, swayed and jumped as high as she could, jumping over trees and detecting every little sound that was being made.

Anna who noticed the room was quiet now, decided to stand up. She glanced around the room and her guys told her something wasn't right. Standing up now to see how better she was, she was glad that she was finally healed from her self Inflicted pains. That few moment she was able to assume her real self, was enough for her body to heal itself and how alive she felt . She moved to the bedroom, searching around carefully for any kind of surprises. Opening the wardrobe, she found beautiful female clothes and she decided to change into a nice one. She checked around for some makeup and she was happy she found some. Giving herself a little make over, she admired herself on the mirror and decided to hide her necklace under her skin. It was time to speak to her father and that proud Sham who felt he was better than everyone else.

Calling the parrot, the bird flew right through the window and landed on her shoulders. " Get me in touch with my father." She said angrily to the bed not sure how the sorcerer said it was going to work.

Suddenly, she could see herself in her father's palace having a discussion with Sham.

" Father " she called out to him.

Adrain was shocked to see her as he moved closer to embrace his daughter who he was missing. But his hands passed through her like she was a spirit or only a shadow. " This is only my reflection" she explained Wondering how unlearned her father was of these things.

" Hello Fiona." Sham greeted with a smile.

Fiona didn't respond but they he a sharp gaze that would have pierced through his heart if it was a dagger. 

" Why did you two send those bandit after Raphael?" She asked angrily.

 " Don't you realize you are making matters worse for me? Instead of them focusing on the Alpha and trying to find the extent of her powers, they keep running. " She snapped angrily.

" Don't you refer to that human girl as the Alpha, I am the one true Alpha" Sham growled at Fiona.

" The next time you raise your wolfy voice at me, I will make sure you never become the do called Alpha. " She warned with anger written all over her face.

Sham decided to calm down as he getting angry was not the solution at all. Besides, be needed to gain her trust and lay with her. But with the way she was acting now, that might make things slower for him.

" It wasn't us. " Her father responded. " Maybe Raphael has other enemies apart from us." That was the only explanation they could come up with. But in his heart, Sham knew it was the werewolves who wanted to capture Raphael and the human girl so they don't make Elsa the Alpha when they had someone better.

" Then , I will break off their neck and burn them all to ashes. " Fiona threatened.

" You look beautiful a your disguise." Sham complimented with a smile.

" Shut up" she yelled before breaking the magic. She took a deep breath and decided to you look for everyone. Hearing giggling coming from the back, she decided to peep first before showing herself.

There was Zaria on her four Limbs transforming into a werewolf and back into a human immediately she heard the heartbeat of a human. There and then, she knew she was in big trouble with Raphael for getting caught. 

" What are you?" Anna asked revealing herself and acting all suprised.

" Hunting is a skill which every werewolf should have." Raphael started.

" You need to be patient, know your level of strength and that of the animal I front of you, you need to be quiet and calm as you can. Werewolves eat a lot of animals but zebra's taste the best for me. Follow my lead!" Raphael explained before shifting to a wolf.

" Ewehh" the thought of killing an animal with my bare hands and probably eating it was disgusting as I relaxed to shift into a wolf too. Following  the heartbeat of some animals he heard from afar, Raphael stood at my back signalling me to lead the way to these animals. Focusing my mind on what I wanted to hear like I learnt earlier, I led the way to the river where we found some antelopes drinking from the river. We moved swiftly to stand behind them and made sure to Target the two we needed for food.

" Target the neck, that way you cease the flow of air to the brain thereby killing them." I heard Raphael's voice in my head. I took several breaths and just followed his foot steps. He leapt on the first while I leapt in another, taking its neck in between my two claws while watching Raphael give a bite to the animal is he holding. Still struggling with mine, I bit the antelope as Raphael did and watched this animal struggle right in my hands until it stopped struggling.
