Chapter 20

The other animals as expected ran for their dear lives as we shifted back into humans. My hands were covered in blood and I felt so bad for taking a life.

" If you continue to feel bad after taking a life, then I wonder if you would be able to kill a weredragon or even a werewolf if the case may be." Raphael said after observing the sad look on my face.

" At least they are innocent." I defended sadly.

" No body and nothing is innocent in this world, even a newborn baby who hasn't done anything is still guilty. Just mainly being born into this wicked world, makes you a candidate of the punishment that befalls this earth. That's why at one point in life, we all seek atonement and try to do good in our own little way so as to have this peace of mind. " Raphael explained now picking up our kill.

" You are so mean. Well, unlike you, humans hardly take the life of other creatures." I replied making faces at him.

" Are you just naive or you were brought up a vegetarian?" He asked suprised. " Listen, there are places where they eat every kind of animals even the what you can't begin to imagine. So, be surprised if you meet someone who eats humans too. " He said with a smirk on his face.

" Shut up Raphael" I didn't know when those words came out of my mouth. 

Walking down the path back to the little village, o could sense someone was following us but later ignored when the person went the opposite direction as we did. It was obvious Raphael noticed too as he now slowed his pace so he could walk directly behind me.

" What are you?" Fiona asked startled like she just saw a ghost.

" It's not want you think? You didn't see anything, it was only a fragment of your imagination." Zaria went on and on with words she wanted Fiona to believe while using the hypnotizing spell on her.

At first, it seemed like it was working but Zaria became more scared when Anna recounted all she just saw.

" Don't you tell me what are saw wasn't real. You transformed into a wolf and back right before my eyes. What are you? Does Raphael and Elsa know you are a beast? Or, are you all like this? " Anna went on and on rattling moving closer to Zaria. Not sure of what to do, Zaria had to hit Anna hard on her shoulders which made her losse consciousness and fell down. 

" O goodness! What do I do? " She hit her severally in frustration and turn to Zoe for help who was equally as surprised as she was.

Carrying Anna from the floor, Zaria carried her gently and laid her on the bed. Turning to leave, she caught sight of the necklace around Anna's neck. It had this compelling Force on whoever stared at it for long. As her hands stretched out to heal the necklace so as to have a better view of it, Zoe interrupted.

" They are back" he announced a bit scared for us both.

" Raphael, I have something to tell you." I announced while Zoe collected their game from him.

" Anna saw me shift." She said without hesitation, so much like the words...are abominable. 

" Okay? What did you do about it? " Raphael asked so much like he was more interested in the outcome of thee problem than the problem or should I say solution to the problem? This wasn't the reaction we were all expecting. We were expecting him to get angry, to repeat to us his warning about not getting exposed. Point is, he reacted opposite of what everyone was expecting and that left us a little surprised.

" Raphael, I couldn't wipe out her memory. It likes she has them locked some where and never letting go. I tried enchanting her but she wasn't affected one bit. " She is explained further as she twisted her fingers playfully probably a bit nervous.

Although the situation was serious, I almost laughed at the way the almighty Zaria was acting all childish. At that moment, she looked like a little girl that was preparing herself to get spanked by her father.

" Where is she now?" Raphael asked after pacing back and forth for a while obviously ranking his head. 

" I knocked her off." She replied in an exhale, probably grateful Raphael wasn't angry.

" Only very few can get unaffected by the forgetting spell, even as powerful as Elsa is, she forgot for a while but how is it that Anna is not even affected one bit? " Raphael threw questions at himself trying to fix the puzzle. " Does that mean that she is a very powerful sorceress or some ancient creature?" Zaria suddenly posed serious likely reasons why Anna wasn't affected.

" That's ridiculous Zaria" I responded suprised at now far her mind had travelled just the few moments.

' You could be right but we well know that their are so e humans who had so much control over their mind and innermost self. " Raphael added giving Anna a good stare from afar.

" Which we both know requires so much mind training and only trusted groups were taught this act in case they got caught by the enemies." Zaria explained further trying to make everyone see reason with her.

" She told us that she was the personal guard to her Princess, so this could be something they were trained with.  " I butted in not liking how Zaria was trying to push her own idea into everyone.

" Get in touch with  Hazel, our sorcerer friend. He should be able to help us!" He instructed quietly. Zaria gave a nod to confirm that she understood perfectly. I was about asking some questions but changed my mind against it.

As if trying to confirm all that was been discussed, Fiona gave several light mourns before finally opening her eyes. Unfortunately for them, she heard everything especially the part of Hazel.

' Woah, she looked beautiful.' Everyone had this thought as they stared at her long enough for a person who just walked into the room to guess they were admiring her.

" You look amazing! Where did these clothes and make over come from.? Elsa confessed in excitement.

Happy about the looks and compliment, Anna made it a point of duty to always look good especially to Raphael who considered her beautiful even if it's for a moment.

" Dress me up too!" Elsa suddenly stood up all smiles.

" O no" Anna murmured silently.

" Is Elsa trying to steal the spotlight? I shouldn't have told her where these clothes and make up came from? " Anna murmured within herself. 

" You've been asleep for a while. Are you okay?" Raphael asked with arms crossed staring deeply at Anna trying to use the forgetting spell on her.  There was only one way to find out if it worked. 

" Last thing I remember was, I saw a wolf, then I saw Zaria at the same spot. It was like she was the wolf and the wolf was her. I swear I'm telling the truth, who knows what she has been hiding from us. " Anna stood up gently trying to explain all she saw.

" And you are sure it wasn't a dream?" Raphael asked trying to act all not interested.

" It wasn't. Zaria, do it again." She yelled this time.

" Alright, Let's talk about this after Lunch. I can't think right now." Raphael added before walking away.

" So, back to what I asked earlier." Elsa said excitedly.

Fiona was about screaming; " Shoo away wolf" but she changed her mind and replied; " follow me."

" Send word to Hazel now, I want him here before dusk tommorow." Raphael instructed Zaria who turned to leave immediately. " Elsa, you need to learn this memory wiping, it will do us so much good." He said telepathically to Elsa who was busy choosing clothes to wear from the wardrobe. 

" Here" I found one she said excitedly as she brought out an orange gown. She excused herself to try it on.

" You look good girl." Anna praised.

" Now let's make you up." Anna said as she pulled Elsa to seat in front of the mirror.

One would have thought she changed her mind and  was now cool about Elsa looking prettier than she is. Who would have thought she had something up her sleeve. 

" Here..." She hummed a song as she made Elsa up. 

" It burns my skin." Elsa complained feeling a burning sensation on her face.

" Oh... it's fine. It will stop when I'm done. You have too much of dead cell on your skin and that's why. " She lied. Who would have thought that she requested for acid from her parrot friend during those period Elsa went to change. 

" I'm done." Anna announced.

" Arrgh..." Elsa screamed in pain. Her skin was burning, it was on fire, she needed water immediately. 

" What's going on?" Anna asked acting like she was concerned.
