Chapter 24

Returning to the rest of his group, he met them all awake obviously waiting for him to return with Zaria. How was he suppose to explain to them that he didn't even know where she was. At that moment he felt like he had failed. If he couldn't even protect Zaria who only offered to help prepare the new Alpha, how was he suppose to prepare the Alpha herself, he wondered.

Looking dejected, he decided, he walked inside the house and everyone stood up immediately.

" Where have you been?" Sydney asked.

" Where is Zaria? " Zoe asked.

Raphael didn't know which question to answer. He looked for someone to sit and shook his head severally indicating that he couldn't find her.

" What's that suppose to mean?" Zoe asked getting anxious.

" Relax, the bandits..."

" Bandits! How come?" Sydney interrupted.

" What do they want with her?" Zoe asked now really worried.

" The bandits claimed to have sold her to a man who they said had a lot of resemblance to me." Raphael rolled his head in confusion.

" Wait, if it's someone that resembles you in a way, it would be Sham." Zoe suddenly said.

" Why would you say that?" Raphael asked suprised.

" Don't you know, you and Sham has a lot in common?" Zoe responded.

" O please, I am not like that traitor." Raphael argued.

" Well, I meant in terms of body features, you too walked together so close for as long as I can remember to the point the members of the pack referred to you two as ' Wolf twin'." Zoe explained why he suspected Sham.

" Let's assume you are right, what does this Sham want with Zaria?" Elsa was the one who asked this time. 

" I really don't know. She was never part of the plan, she just believed so much in you and wanted to help prepare you. " Raphael explained.

" Will someone please tell me what is going on? What are you preparing Elsa for and who the hell is Sham that everyone is so worried about? " Anna who hadn't spoken anything since Raphael entered finally spoke.

" Anna, I don't have the luxury of explaining everything to you now but just be prepared for whatever may come our way." Raphael replied standing up.

" So, where do we find Sham now?" Zoe asked.

" He should be in the mountain where the weredragons resides. We just need to find out way there without raising suspicion." Raphael explained.

" That's right, they kidnapped Anna at some point, so she should remember the way there. " Elsa happily said.

Immediately Anna heard that, she cursed Elsa under her breath." Why did this lady have to involve her?" She wondered.

" Please, I don't have the intention of going there all by myself or even going there at all. That place is filled with so many traumizing memories I am trying really hard to forget. " Anna began shivering with her eyes welled up in tears. Zoe could see right through her pretence and he wished he could just do away with her.

Raphael took several breaths, it was risky to take Elsa anywhere close to the weredragons. Would he then leave Anna at the hands of the weredragons? ' he wondered.

" Let me go, you bunch of idiots." Zaria yelled at the top of her voice.

" Keep quiet, you weredog, very soon, you will know what awaits you. " A man spat at her.

" Who the hell at you and what do you want with me?" She yelled even more kicking and fighting the sir. Due to the silver collar on her neck, her powers were restricted and there was no way she could remove it.

" Just be patient, you will know." The man who had her tied up replied.

This made her wonder why she would be kidnapped by the weredragons. She knew she was in their midst when saw fire breaths flying up and down. She could hear their huge wings flapping and even their annoying chattering. 

" Hello Zaria" a familiar voice said that made her life her eyes up to see who was speaking.

" Sham?" She called out not sure if her eyes were playing tricks on her.

" Is that really you?" She asked to be sure the man standing in front of her is really the worst enemy of the werewolves.

" It's me my ex mate" he said squatting down to her position.

" May your tongue fold up if you ever refer to me as that again." She said angrily.

" Or, would you prefer I call you my one true mate? " He asked laughing.

" Don't try me Sham, I can still suck the life out it you where you stand. " She threatened struggling with the ropes used to tie her.

" What do you want from me?" She asked getting very irritated with his words.

" Well, nothing much just your appearance, I need it to prove myself to the weredragons especially Adrian." He replied looking at her over and over again.

" Let me feel what it means to have this hot body of yours. Don't worry, it wouldn't be for long. " He answered. 

" Sorcerer, let's get on with this, I don't have much time. I have just three days to get Zaruch if not, I will get into a lot of trouble. " 

" Why are you involving Zaruch in your madness?" She asked angrily.

" Madness? Aren't you aware Zaruch is soon to be Alpha? He is doing so well, even to the point of defeating them. But the issue is, he is getting in my way of achieving my dreams and I wouldn't let that happen. Oh, and when you reconcile with your baby Alpha, tell her not to cross my path or I send her to an early grave." He said before turning to the sorcerer to continue with his impersonating spell. 

" What do you want to do with my appearance? Don't you dare tarnish my good reputation, if not, I will kill you my self, I am warning you. " Zaria threatened. 

" My sweet baby, let me explain everything to you. I know fully well that there is no way I can get Zaruch out of the midst of the rest of the pack. But with you, there will be no suspicion, I can easily weaken him with this silver and even take him to Adrain without too much stress. You see now why I need your beautiful appearance? "He explained patting her hair. 

" One day, the weredragons would feed you to their pigs to feed on your flesh. " She hissed before turning her head away.

" Don't talk to me that way, I am warning you" he threatened holding her chin firmly and raising them up so that her eyes could miss her gaze.

" I miss your lips" he suddenly said seductively.

" Kiss my ass and rub your face on it." She said disgustingly.

" O sure, I will. But not now, I have things to do. When I return, you will satisfy my every need. I haven't had pleasure in a long time." He said kissing her chin.

" Then either you die or I die than for you to lay your filthy betrayer hands on me" she struggled with the rope even more. 

" This same hands massaged your body, carried you and took care of you. Don't you miss me? O, I do you! Let's feel this evening with the pleasure derived from each other." He said with enthusiasm.

" May thunder strike you, if you open that mouth and say a word above me and you again." She said loudly.

" Alright, let's begin. " Sham ignored her turning to the sorcerer.

The sorcerer cut a lock of her hair and made a liquid potion that Sham drank. After some spell chanting, smoke filled the room and by the time rhe smoke faded out, Zaria was shocked at what she saw. She was looking at a complete appearance of herself. Her mouth opened in awe as she wondered how this was possible. There wasn't any difference between the two of them, except for the fact that she was tired and she had a silver colour on her neck.

" How do I look, Zaria?" Sham who was taking on the personality of Zara now asked turning around on the spot.

" Don't, Sham," she struggled..

" No, I am Zaria. I need to go now" he said before leaping off with Zaria's appearance. Zaria screamed and kicked and even howled to show her annoyance and displeasure.
