Chapter 22
Adrain was hell bent on teaching the werewolves a lesson incase they've forgotten how ruthless, he Adrain can be.
The werewolves were made to kneel before him and one by one, he beheaded them and burnt the rest of their body to ashes. The heads were placed in a basket and sent to the den of the weredragons together with the ashes.
Zaruch who was the most alert, found the present sent to them. He immediately knew that this sort of wickedness was no one else's doing but Adrain.
It was time to prove to the weredragons too that they were prepared for what ever they had in store for them.
Taking hold one of the two weredragons they held captive, he sent words to Adrain.
" Tell your king that I hope he loved the way we killed many of your kind. Be prepared, we are going to reinforce and come to you with full force. Then you will beg me to spare your life but I will ensure you drink the blood of your own daughter before feeding you to the vultures of the air." Zaruch repeated in the ears of the weredragon.
' I doubt you would remain alive to report back to me what Adrian said." Zaruch said silently knowing fully well that Adrian would not let anyone leave who dares to speak against him.
Shifting to a dragon, the weredragon flew gently till be got to the mountain. Going straight to Adrian, he repeated Zaruch words in the ears of all those who cares to know.
" What insolence." Adrian laughed at the so called threat.
" Get me Sham, I have a little errand for him" Adrian said with a smirk. Sham reported to the palace as soon as he got the reply.
" Sham" Adrain exclaimed upon seeing Sham. Placing his shoulders around him, he told Sham want was required of him.
" You know that little kid that acts all arrogant and brave, the one that desperately wants to become the Alpha? He dares threaten me. I want his head in the next three days. " Adrian said.
It was a startling request and a difficult one at that. Hurting Zaruch now will be hurting the whole pack since they've now placed so much trust in him, especially after the just recent fight with the weredragons. Even though this was going to be a difficult one, Sham dared not show the fact that there was a big knot tied in his stomach, for fear of ending his dreams before he even started them. If the werewolves link the missing if Zaruch to him, then it is over. The only best plan of action was either to employ the services of the bandit or to make sure the werewolves threw Zaruch out themselves.
" Sham, did you hear me?" Adrain asked bringing Sham out of his own rivers of thought.
" Yes, Adrain. I would do as you say." Sham said before leaving Adrain alone with his people in the palace.
" Run along now, let's see you pay for your little act of betrayer." Adrain whispered as he watched Sham's back. Apparently, Adrain suspects someone of giving the werewolves heads-up seeing as prepared they were. Either Sham warned them before hand or they, they the werewolves were just overly prepared.

" Where is Hazel?" Raphael asked after a thorough scanning of the area for either a familiar smell of wine or a sound.
" He had to leave on such notice. He says it's a matter of life and death." She lied.
" Alright, typical Hazel. He appears and disappears on such short notice." He replied with a little chuckle.
Anna felt this was her chance and she needed to make use of it.
" Raphael?" She called back to Raphael who was about returning inside the house.
" Yes?" He replied now looking back.
" How is Elsa now?" She asked first so it doesn't seem like she didn't care.
" She is awake now, she is fine." Raphael responded.
" Can I go with you, next time you are stepping out?" She asked not show of how to continue this conversation. This was the first time Fiona was finding it hard to continue a conversation with a guy. She didn't have to talk much before they end up licking and chocking each other any wAy convenient for them. She used that few minutes to admire her crush.
" Come inside, let's eat." He said before returning back to the house.
Sitting together on the table, Fiona kept eyeing Zaria repeatedly and she was ready to annoy Zaria even more. Her intentions was to continue doing this until Zaria got annoyed and picked a fight with her. Raphael saw all the attitude Anna was putting on but decided to ignore her. They ate quietly without any one asking any questions. Zaria decided to go get some air after helping Elsa and Zoe do the dishes.
For a while now, Zaria has been so restless thinking about her people. She wondered how they were and her heart longed to go see them.
" You know where confused creatures like you belong to? Either a cage or a jungle where you can either be contained or allowed to run wide, dog! What are you exactly a human or a wolf? Combination of two weak creatures! I bet I can snap out your furry neck with a twist if my little fingers. I'm gonna so spank your Iittle pink ass until you shout; " Daddy, daddy, come to the rescue of your tiny flea." She heard Anna's voice behind her.
Zaria who was restless initially couldn't contain the new rush of emotions that filled her blood. It sure was a higher percentage of anger. Jumping up to her feet, her wolf felt insulted that without thinking, she charged at Anna with full force.
Exactly what Anna wanted! Prepared as well, she charged at her too with full force. Zaria would have used her human strength but it was her wolf that was insulted and that wasn't going to go down so easily.
With her claws and fangs out, Zaria attempted scratching Anna but the other kept dodging. She didn't realize Zaria was the strong as the other was already untop of her ready to pluck out her eyes in annoyance before Raphael lept to the scene.
" Zaria stop" he screamed but the angered werewolf wasn't listening to anyone. Talking wasn't going to do anything. Any delay in action right now, could lead to the death of Anna who was already chocking due to the weight of Zaria on her and the hands of the latter on her neck.
" How dare you compare a werewolf to a dog. " She sneered, howling angrily. Ready to snap out the little life out of Anna, Raphael shifted to a werewolf an pushed Zaria from off Anna. The two faced each with positioned to attack each other before Elsa came out with a roar. With a voice that spoke authority, she commanded them both to stop.
" Stop this instance, both of you. You must obey me! She said with eyes blazing confidence. Just like cold water poured on them, they both shifted back to humans panting heavily.
Anna who is as still on the ground holding her neck as a result of the strangling, couldn't believe her eyes. It was surprising seeing that lowly human emit such authority that made two warriors obey immediately. Even Anna couldn't deny that she got scared a bit and this wasn't a good sign at all. 'What kind of power does this girl carry?' she wondered. Together with this feeling of surprise, Anna was super excited that her prince charming came to her rescue and she was able to make them reveal their true nature. It was time to act all suprised and unaware of their nature.
" What's wrong with you both?" Elsa screamed.
The two took time to relax before Raphael walked over to Anna.
" Are you alright?" He Asked concerned, observing the scratch on her neck and other part of her body.
" You could have killed her." Raphael yelled at Zaria.
" Then tell her to stay on her lane, if not I will kill her." Zaria threatened before walking away to cool off.
" Come inside." Raphael helped Anna up while Elsa prepared warm water to tend to her wound. Zoe who knew exactly what happened decided not to assist them with anything. He sat in one corner of the room wondering why Anna would want to start up a fight with Zaria. When she spoke earlier, she didn't look so sweet as she use to. She looked mean and in for trouble. Zoe determined within himself to be on a look out for Anna. He decided to go look for Zaria so as to share this thought with her.
" Zaria" he called out. Since he wasn't fully grown yet, his powers weren't strong so he couldn't even trace her with her scent. "Zaria" he repeated trying to search for her footprints that could lead him to where she was.
