Chapter 44

" Nothing" she lied covering the mark.

Elsa decided not to press further for now and find out the truth her own way. " So I have two task now; to find the weak spot of the werewolves and to find out how Anna had that mark because I am so sure it wasn't there before. " Elsa thought yo herself.

" So, what do you intend to wear for the banquet?" Anna asked her.

" What banquet?" Elsa asked confused.

" There will be a banquet to celebrate the victory of my fa...I mean the King and his soldiers. All maidens in the land are to look their best and ofcourse to come with a gentleman." Anna winked.

" What? What am I suppose to wear? I know nothing about a banquet plus where do I get a gentleman from? " She threw several questions at her at the Same time.

" Don't stress yourself." Anna laughed at Elsa's worried face.

" I will take care of what you will wear and as for the gentle man, if you can't find one cute weredragon before tomorrow night, then I will have to hook you with anyone. " She said.

The thought of walking side by side, dancing and even coming close to a weredragon almost made Elsa puck. ' How come Anna knows so much about the weredragons even to the point of getting someone for her easily?' Elsa wondered as she looked at her. Her guts kept telling her that Anna was far more than what she was projecting. ' Someone who could pretend not to have a dragon in her could do anything. I would have asked but Anna would not hesitate to lie to me. ' she kept looking at her like she could see beyond what she was looking at.

" Why are you staring at me like that?" Anna asked noticing the way Anna's eyes pierced through her skin.

" Will you be at the party?" Elsa asked.

" Yes...I mean no, no. I'm not really a party fan." She lied remembering that there was no way she could go to the party with her Anna appearance. She had to glow as the only and only princess of the kingdom; therefore, she had to go as Fiona.

" Then why do I have to go?" Elsa asked sensing that Anna was lying. She watched her become uncomfortable in two seconds and then she returned to her confident self. 

" Because it's the king's orders, you really shouldn't disobey him you know. " Anna said standing up.

" What's that on your face?" Elsa asked noticing the changes occuring in her face. Upon hearing her face, Anna ran to the mirror and indeed her face was changing. It was like she was changing skin and her hair's colours were changing. The more Elsa stared at it, the more she saw Anna looking different. Before she could ask further questions, Anna ran as fast as her leg could carry her to the Sorcerer passing through the secret gate.

" You goat!" She yelled. " The magic is fading and worse still it had to do that in the presence of Elsa. Why haven't renewed it?" She asked angrily. By now she had completely changed back to Fiona.

" But my Princess I did warn you." The sorcerer said wondering why she had forgotten his instructions.

" You dare reply back? O my goodness, you think because you are the all powerful sorcerer you can't be dispose of? There is no one I can't throw his sorry head to the dogs, no one, especially if you begin to feel overly important. " She said still very much angry. Refusing to exchange words with her, he prepared another potion for her and poured it into the necklace. When she wore the necklace, she returned to her Anna's look and very much beautiful this time. 

" Be warned! Do not exceed your boundaries." Anna warned before walking out.

" Yes Adrain, you called for me?" Elsa asked with confidence.

" Ahhh" everyone gasped and immediately murmurs filled the room.

" What guts." Adrian smiled at her bravery.

The general who knew what happened in time past to those who dare to stand in front of Adrain without and form of reference or even fear, motioned to Elsa to bow her head, kneel or even lie down.

Elsa didn't even pay attention to what he was doing or demonstrating with his hands.

" You asked to see me." Her voice grew louder it was evident that she was growing annoyed. Her mind went back to the pregnant woman, the old woman and her son and her heart beat increased thinking of those whose skin must have been ripped off their flesh while they stood. 

" Elsa, welcome me. I have returned from this great victory and yet you have come to return your king." Adrain said. Elsa almost laughed at his words but she decided to play along and not act stupid. Any more insult to his pride could make his admiration for her turn to hatred and he wouldn't hesitate in killing her. 

" Welcome Adrain the mighty. The one who bathe with the blood of his enemies and drink wine from the head of the weak. Your name as exceeded to the ends of the earth and soon you will be King of all. " She said with a bow and slight bend of her knees. As the words came out of her mouth, her eyes gradually gathered tears and pain struck her heart even more.

" Elsa my girl" he said with a huge smile on his face. 

" You don't know how happy I am that you acknowledge my greatness but you are wrong about one thing." He said standing up from his throne and coming closer to her.

" My name has not yet gotten to the ends of the Earth and that's what I want to achieve. All I need is your help and loyalty to help me conquer the whole world especially those dog looking creatures; the weredragons."  His face now replaced with annoyance and disappointment.

" Look your best to the party tomorrow night, I will be introducing you to someone. Prepare for your next training!" He said now returning to his throne.

"Hi" Raphael's voice echoed in the room.

" Raphael, how come you are appearing to me while I am awake?" She wondered though excited.

" Well, you have slept in a while now and I wonder when you will." He said more like an accusation.

" O, I'm so sorry. I haven't been able to sleep because my mind has worried." She said slumping to the bed.

" About what?" He asked concerned.

" Some much! For instance there is a party tommorow and I am suppose to come with a cute guy but I can't imagine myself spending time or coming so close to an member of this land. Also Anna is not who we really think she is. She had scars inflicted by a werewolf and the only werewolf here alive and free apart from me is Sham. This morning, her face looked different, it was like she was wearing a mask and without her knowing, the mask was removing." She complained.

" Wow, a lot is really happening here." He exclaimed.

" So, about the party partner for the party. How about I come? Besides I don't know much about parties or someone from the pack could come in and take that position." He suggested after a minute of thought.

" Yes , you, ofcourse! Besides no other werewolf will see any reason to. It's just that Anna, Sham and even Adrian might recognize you. Maybe we could ask the Sorcerer for a little makeup or even a little makeup could be of help to alter your look." She suggested excitedly. The thought of going to the party with Raphael made her really excited. She didn't want this opportunity to be with Raphael looking all beautiful with him admiring her every minute.

" I will see what I can do." He replied smiling.

" So, how do you come here without anyone suspecting you?" She asked suddenly concerned.

" Ehm....I will come on with the cargos coming into the mountain. Or I hide among the goods coming in as tribute to Adrain." He suggested.

" Good idea." She said jumping up excited.
