Chapter 71: B

"I was informed that you spoke about your sister again and even threatened that your husband will rescue her from wherever I took her to, really?" She shifted backwards but she was done showing this man that she was afraid. If she was going to die-which she knew she would-then she would have to die after she had made sure she said everything she wanted to the man she hated the most in her entire life.
"Yes, and no matter what you're hiding, I assure you that he will bring it open to the world and you little secrets wouldn't be safe any longer." Instead of her words to instill fear in his mind like she wanted, she watched him threw his head back and laughed.
"Steady there, tigress. I'll give I'm too much grief to be able to hunt down someone as useless as the girl you call your sister." He walked towards with her enigmatic steps and there was mischief in his eyes, "But I like this, how fierce you seem and I think that was exactly how your sister acted before we took care of her and she spent her days and nights crying her eyes out. Want to know what we did to her?"
Maryam shook her head, it was good to know that at least, Intisar was alive somewhere even though she wondered if this man was willing to tell her wherever that was. But she was terrified of knowing what had made her sister cried day and night because she knew her sister wasn't among the ones that cried that much, she hated being in agony, so she filled her days and nights with the little happiness she had around her.
"I'll kill you, to distract his mind from everything he has and he'd spend his days grieving the woman he has loved and then lost. Do you think he'll live long after your death?" He had the gun at the top of her head and was grinning at the unmeasurable amount of triumph he had felt when someone-or more people than one-stomped into the living room and they all turned back to see who it was.
His boys were about to begin shooting at them when Sadeeq lifted his hands almost immediately. "Hold on! They're the royal princes and I wouldn't have Alan Gubro bawling his fists at me if something happens to his precious darlings. But they would be of use, and a little torture wouldn't be a sin."
They all stared at Maryam that was slumped on the floor with tears on her cheeks and fear in her eyes as she stared back at them. She didn't know then, she knew, but Saima had told her enough stories about them for her to know they were the ones. She had told her that incase something came up, she can trust them and they would always be there.
It felt like seeing Na'im, when she stared back at the eyes that stared at her as well. One of them nodded his head at her, in a way that would have calmed her down and told her that everything would be alright if it were Na'im that made the gesture. But Na'im wasn't here, he was back there at the hospital as he fought for his life.
"What you're doing now, I hope you know that it's wrong in both the army and the royal palace, right?" It was Amjad that spoke and Sadeeq lifted his hand that held the gun upwards before in a moment, it was pointing at Amjad's heart.
"I hope you know that I can kill all of you here, Amjad? How dare you speak to me with no respect whatsoever?"
"Do you think you deserve our respect? Or do you think we would be terrified of your gun to say what we have on mind? Let his wife go and go face him like a man should! Don't be hiding under her skirt to simply hurt a man that's in love because you knew if it were a clash of fists, you'd have been long dead in his hands!"
"How dare you say that to me, Adeel?! I've known that you were trying to fool me but I'm smarter than you thought! So, this is for trying to fool me with your sick and stupid tricks!" He aimed the gun at him and was about to shoot when Saima appeared in front of Adeel, her eyes blinded with rage as she stared back at her brother.
"I think if you're going to harm either of them, start with me, Yarima Sadeeq Bolori!" The triplets turned to her, how determined she sounded and how angry her tone was. They spoke to her in whisper because Sadeeq had already pulled the trigger but Saima didn't faze, she was staring directly into his eyes.
"Get out of my way, Saima!" He thundered, but Saima stood where she was, right in front of Adeel and she was tall enough to cover up his chest that if he wanted to kill him directly, he only had his head to shot. "Move away, Saima!" He roared as he cocked the gun, ready to release the bullet into whoever he so wished.
"I won't, hurt me before I let any of my brothers get hurt but you! You selfish and merciless, heartless monster!"
"Well," Sadeeq began before he shrugged his shoulders, he'd have to shoot her in the place that wouldn't kill her but will serve as a warning for her not to ever cross his way again. "You asked for it." He heard the sound of a gun being shot, but he was yet to release his trigger and then he felt the alarm given by his whole body before he slumped on the floor, staring at his leg that was already raining blood. And when he looked up, a rage blinded Hafiz was staring at him with eyes that emoted nothing but the hatred he had for him.
...
There were two guns already pointed at the back of Hafiz's head before any of them could breathe in the shock of Sadeeq being shot. He smirked at him and even though there was pain in his leg, Sadeeq was so determined not to let any of them go as easily as they thought they were going to escape. "You're going to have it pretty bad, Lieutenant!" Even though he was a skilled and well trained soldier, Sadeeq knew there was no way he would have been able to dodge those bullets if he wanted to and it would be wise of him if he stayed there, rooted to his spot and not make a move.
"Collect his gun from him and punish him a bit for me." Sadeeq ordered and it only took a few seconds before Hafiz's gun left his hand and he was being punched frantically from all angles by Sadeeq's boys. He didn't want to make a move and he wouldn't be able to save them and himself if he were shot. He hoped help would come, because it looked to him that Sadeeq was hell bent on doing what he had set his mind into.
"Well," Sadeeq began as he grunted in pain and Saima immediately took a step towards him. "Are you okay, Yarima?" She asked and there were tears rolling down to her cheeks already. Even though the triplets were concerned about her, but they pitied her also. She was forced to do this, not by them but by her heart that ached with the want of doing what was right. And it would hurt her, quite alright, to see her brother in such pain.
He lifted the gun and aimed it at her, "One more step towards me, I'd have you killed and I'll be so busy later to feel guilty about it, Saima. You planned all this, there was no way they would have known this location!" He thundered and motioned for one of his men to get her out of his sight, which he did. No matter how Saima fought to get out of the strong man's hold, she wasn't able to do that and it was becoming so had to keep up that she finally relented.
"Y'all see what you've caused? I guess, no one is going out of here without being hurt." He yanked Maryam towards him and pulled his arm on her neck, "I don't want her to be died by my bullet, I want y'all to fight for her safety and while you do that, I'd end her life in the most easiest way possible, which is by breaking her neck."
Amjad gulped down a lump in his throat, he wanted to move forward to save the one their brother loved but he didn't know what he would do that wouldn't hurt her. "Sadeeq, what exactly do you think you're doing? Why do you hate him so much to see him grieving always? Can't you please, for once, be human? She's not the one you hate but your brother who happens to be her husband!" Amjad said as he took a step towards them but the way Maryam shrilled in pain was evident that Sadeeq had tightened his hold on her neck and she was in so much pain, evidence on her eyes.
With each step he took, Maryam groaned in pain until there was little life left in those weird and eccentric colors of her eyes that Amjad had no other choice but to stay where he was and he gulped down a lump in his throat. "I'm not taking another step," he sighed and lifted his hands up defenselessly. They kept on hearing the groans of pain that escaped Hafiz even though much of it were because he was angry and would wish to punch back but he was holding back because it wasn't just his life that was at stake, theirs was too.
"What do you want us to do? Tell us, so long as that will make you release her, please." Why did they have to get here without a proper plan? Even though Amjad knew that if Na'im was healthy enough, he would have been here by now and it didn't matter what he was going to lose-even if it was his life-but Maryam wouldn't have been in Sadeeq's arms up till now.
"I want you to get out of here and seal your mouths up. One word about this, I'll make sure I snatch all the things you love, each and every one of you. I'm not ready to deal with you now, because I have to kill her as fast as I could, take Saima with you and what?" He watched as the triplets gulped down a lump in their throats. It was easier if they were able to leave here alive, maybe before Sadeeq would be able to do what he wanted they might be able to get some help.
Amjad took a step forward, "You can't kill her!" He said but the way Maryam made a groan that had her eyes lifted up to the sky and they all knew she was a minute away from dying made him took two steps backwards and it looked like Sadeeq had loosened the hold on her neck.
"No word from us. We will leave." They both were thinking of the perfect plan to come up with, how to save Maryam as swiftly as they could. They weren't skilled with guns, nor were they trained like these men were. They had to do something logical, which was why they took steps back and were about to turn to leave to see if they could get some help fast enough when they heard a voice.
"We all will live, but along with his wife, your sister and his friend, boys!" Even though the voice of Alan Gubro was laced with so much anger and pain that what was happening in front of him happened because of one of his sons and done by his other son, his eyes held a look that told them he was proud of them and the triplets had never been so happy to see him their entire lives like they were now.
