EPILOGUE
Alpha King Enrick von Rudge holds his mate Drina Weiner in his arms as they watch the Royal Jet take off.
Their eldest daughter has now definitely left the house. Proudly they watch the Jet leave until it disappears entirely among the clouds. "Drina, I can't imagine a better mate for our daughter. Jace is absolutely amazing, his patience and dedication over the past few years are highly admirable. He certainly makes a great King alongside his Queen".
Luna Queen Drina nods.
"Yes, both are strong personalities that complement each other. Jace is not intimidated by Erina's position, he clearly shows in his actions that she is his mate and belongs to him according to Were tradition. Only in business matters does she have the last word. They are perfect together," she sighs. Drina turns to her mate. "We have twelve more pups in the house before we are finally alone," she informs him. "It will be a while before it is quiet here in the packhouse. Do you know yet who will be your successor? We have to retire early".
Enrick looks at her puzzled.
"Eight pups are left, you mean," he corrects her. "No, I think one of the boys should take over my chair, but that will take some time. They're only seventeen. But which of the twins is interested isn't really clear yet," he muses. His mate lays her head on his chest. "Why the boys?" she asks him. "Evelyn goes to great lengths to get your attention. She excels in martial arts and is now training female warriors. She wants to prove herself to you, Enrick," she points out to him.
The Alpha King nods.
"Yes, I've noticed that. But what happens if her mate is from another pack and she has to move? I don't want to encourage her to reject her mate just to get the Alpha position," he explains. "I want to seriously consider her nomination if her mate is from this pack. And even then, he has to be a warrior. If she has pups, the pack still has to be safe during her pregnancy and maternity leave. It's complicated, Drina. But I'll keep an eye on it, fear not".
"The Moon Goddess has blessed us with our eldest daughter and I trust she will bring a solution to this as well. The boys are still hormonal, all they talk about are girls," Drina complained. "I'm glad you taught them not to frolic with she-wolves from the pack. If they bring their Luna one day, it could lead to all sorts of jealous outbursts and we don't need that." Enrick laughs at her comment. "Yes, I notice they often go to clubs in Human Town. Cleo reported that our oldest boys and his three sons are doing the bars frequently and the girls hang around them a lot. Another year and we can expect our first Luna here, I think".
"Any Luna our sons bring are welcome. I am sure they will be wonderful mates, just like you. You have stuck to the mate bond despite my inability to explain much to you about my background. And when I came with the pups, you never judged me one bit, you gave me so much confidence, Enrick," she gratefully resumes. Tears come to her eyes as she takes her mate's face in her hands. "You are the most wonderful mate a she-wolf can have. You trusted me blindly, were content with the time I could be with you, and always treated me like Queen, despite the fact that I carried so much secrecy with me. So my parents are incredibly grateful to you for what you have meant to our family and the Kingdom," Drina continued. "Your tenacity and trust ensured that evil was driven out and the curse could not last. And without the curse, the Kingdom's resurrection was possible. We thank you, Enrick, you are the pillar of our family. I also thank you for the pups, they are many but we offer them a good future and have been an example to them."
Enrick looks at his mate startled.
"Drina!" he exclaims. "Everything I've done I could because you love me unconditionally. Giving birth and raising nine pups without the father's help is not easy. Your parents helped you as much as they could, but it's not the same as if I had been there," he holds out to her emotionally. "The pups and I have had to miss so much just because an evil witch couldn't think rationally. Fortunately, none of us suffered further from this ordeal and we could easily close up as a family." He now takes Drina back in his arms and rests his chin on her head.

"You are a gift from the Moon Goddess. I was already happy with just a glance you sent my way. I love you, Drina. And what you have meant to me and the pups is indescribable," he whispers to her. He takes her bridal style and carries her to the bed. As he unbuttons her dress while kissing his mate, she grabs his hand and places it on her stomach. At first, Enrick pays no attention to this and continues to kiss her as he completely undresses her. When she grabs his hand again and explicitly places it on her belly, he looks up.
It starts to dawn on him when he sees the look in her eyes.
"Drina?" he asks, as his heart begins to beat louder. "Do you want to make something clear to me, my love?" he asks incredulously. She holds him by the neck and nods. "Probably another multiple. I think three again. I told you we still have eleven pups in the house, didn't I? Now it will take longer to retire," she sighs dramatically.
Enrick looks at her wide-eyed as he runs his hand caressingly over her belly.
"Ooohh Goodness. Drina. This is great. Now I can experience my pups from birth," he exclaims softly. "Are you sure? Weren't we on birth control?" he asks absent-mindedly now.
Drina smiles warmly. "Enrick, we never even talked about birth control. And this time it took longer for me to get pregnant again. Last time it was almost every year. Thirteen years this time. It seems like these ones waited until Erina left".
Full of love, Enrick stares at her. He places her tenderly on the bed and begins to kiss her belly while holding her close to him.
"Thank you, Moon Goddess. For the blessings that keep falling on my family and me"....
