Safe period

I felt the bed deep and I closed my eyes not turning or sparing him a glance. He pull the duvet all to himself, as if it wasn't enough, he increased the air condition. I could feel my nose hurt like it's about the bleed, my hands and feet were cold really cold.

I curl myself up into a ball and try to sleep, with the cold the sleep was meters away from me and like he wasn't done with his wickedness, we went to the bathroom and came with his wet hands and touch me with it.

"what is wrong with you? I am trying to avoid you but you just can't seem to understand." I snapped. He gave me an innocent look which a stranger will see it as harmless but I know better.

"I thought you were sleeping." He tried to clean the water on my arm by adding more which I know was on purpose.

I pull the duvet which he earlier pulled and slow the AC before closing my eyes to sleep. He didn't try anything stupid again and the night passed and I was grateful for that, I thought I was going to kill him before the the dark sky turned bright.

Mason left for work, Vanessa took me to the library where I saw books, my heaven. One thing I love more than eating is books, not the educational boring book, novels, nice Romance and Fantasy novels.

Vanessa left me inside the library and went to do other things. I run my hands on the racks, feeling every book my hand can touch.

I big up a book with the title The Alpha's Mate, the book cover is nice, let's see if the content is good too.

I got carried away with the novel that I didn't keep track of time, I didn't even hear Mason's car drive in. I sat on the wooden chair feasting my eyes with the wonderful creation of the author, I kept reading too engross in the novel that I didn't hear the door open and I didn't heart it close.

I wouldn't have noticed the person who entered if not of the shadow blocking the light from entering the room. "I heard you've been here since morning, do you know what time is it?" I heard Mason's angry voice. What is his problem?

"I didn't keep track Of time." I didn't raise my head to look at him, instead I decided to look at his expensive shoes.

"It is seven in the evening and you missed lunch, don't you know your supposed to stay healthy?" I yelled startling me.

"there's no reason to shout, I had breakfast." I raise my head to look at him, the look in his eyes gave me the chills.

"there's no reason to shout? you are going to be carrying my child and I want your health to be one hundred percent OK." his voice didn't lower, I stood up and moved back when he took dangerous steps towards me.

I didn't get the chance to run far when he got hold of my hand and pull me out of the library, I dropped the book I was holding on the wooden chair and following him not resisting, we are only going to talk anyways.

He pull me to the room and to my surprise, I was thrown on the bed, due to the force, I bounce a couple of times before finally laying still. I watch him pull out his clothes and that's when I realized what is going to happen.

I scramble out of the bed, running for door but he caught me even before I could reach the door, he pull me back and shut the door.

"I was going to give u some time, to get familiar with each other but it seems like you don't want that, I told you not to talk back at me or raise your voice but it seems you have a problem with that."

He pull out every piece of clothing on his body leaving him with just his boxers, my eyes dare not look around, they stare at his face.

"I am in my safe period, I won't get pregnant, there's a low chance of me getting pregnant." I blurted out, he gave me a look which says 'what do you take me for? a fool?'

"you've been here for more than a week, unless you want to tell me that your safe period takes up to two weeks, how long will it take for you to ovulate then?" I gulped thinking of the next possible lie. I know sex is unavoidable but am not ready and I don't want to give my first time to someone I know nothing about.

"some girls take longer time." I turn around looking for another exit and my eyes landed on the bathroom but it won't be easy, I'll have to pass by him to go to the bathroom.

"Mm.mm. Mason I promise to be on my best behavior, I won't cause trouble for you." I begged, bringing down my ego.

"it is too late for that baby, let's get this over with. Let's get you pregnant so you will leave my hair as soon as possible, and I know you want same." He move towards me and pin me down, holding my hands above my head one handed, he use his free hand to spread my legs apart and step in between.

With one swish motion, he tore my dress leaving me in my undergarments. My heart pounce in my chest like an angry volcano, this is what I signed up for, I closed my eyes chanting 'for my family' in my heart like a mantra.

"can you please give me sometime? please, I am not ready." his eyebrows raised with a wicked smirk marring his face.
