Stubborn Amaya

I am so sorry for the delay guys, I am a little busy with something.

Days fly so fast, Amaya is seven months gone, and not only that, Mason was finally able to crawl into her heart. They are yet to make their relationship public because of the pregnancy, Mason doesn't want to endanger their lives.

Amaya has become more unbearable, her cravings have increased, and her emotions are messy and above all stubborn. Her mother and brothers are living in a different house from theirs, Mason pulled some strings and her brothers are working.

Amaya is currently in the garden trying to plant some flowers, Baron and the others have tried to stop her but she wouldn't listen. They stood outside sweating like there was no tomorrow, they know what will happen if Mason were to come and see her working with her baby bump.

"Ma'am, remember what the doctor said you are not eligible for working so hard, your body is very delicate. What if you pass out like the last time?" Vanessa said she tried to reason with the stubborn girl.

"Just let me do this, if you are scared of what Mason will do then you shouldn't, he won't know." She said.

Holding a little spade in her hands covered with red rubber cloves, she tilled the soil and then planted the flowers.

"There all done, I don't know why you were worried" she giggled, they all went in following her from behind.

They didn't have to go far, she passed out a few meters away from the door. They all rushed to her, "call Master Mason and you bring the car." Baron yelled.

They carried her to the car and rushed her to the hospital, hearts were raising, they know what will happen when Mason gets there. He has been overly protective of her and this will surely cause some of them their jobs.

Mason had just finished his meeting with his staff, he was heading back to his office when he received a call from home. His heart stopped beating for a split second when he heard the news.

He called his sister and informed her of what happened, same as the twins but they agreed on leaving their mother in the dark.

He rushed to the hospital, and Sophie tailed him from behind. They ran into the hospital like mad dogs, Sophie couldn't keep up with her heels.

"What happened?" He roared, and they all shook in fear including the butler who is always stern with the other servants.

"Master Mason, Mrs. Campbell worked herself up again. She tilled the soil in the garden and planted some flowers, we tried stopping her but she wouldn't listen sir" Baron said with his head bowed.

Lydia and the twins arrived on time, they heard what the butler said. Lydia could see how angry her brother was and the fear dangling in his eyes, she sigh internally.

"What did I tell you to do whenever she proves to be stubborn? I have told you a million and one times to always call me. I am never too busy for my wife and child" his voice boomed in the corridor of the hospital.

"I am sorry Master," he bowed his head even deeper, holding his hands like he wants to say the lord's prayer.

"You are fired, all of you. I have been holding back because Amaya won't let me fire you but today you put her life in danger." Lydia rushed to his side, to talk sense into him.

"What are you doing punishing them for her mistake? We both know Amaya is stubborn, going against her will lead to her crying. These workers are trying their best, they deserve rewards for working for you judging by how strict you are. Calm down let the doctor run some tests and we will know what next." She turned to the workers and told them to go home and wait there.

The doctor finally stepped out of the room, and they all run to her "how is my wife?" Mason asked.

"They are fine, there's nothing to worry about. She passed because of stress which I believe I have warned you guys against it. Amaya shouldn't stress herself out, she isn't as strong as she thinks, let her keep away from anything that will stress her out" the doctor said.

"With that said, she is up, you can go visit her and do me a favor, tell her to stop whatever she has been doing" they nod and went in.

"What is wrong with you?" Mason asked the moment they went in, no one said anything to get in between them. Mason is right to be angry and it is high time Amaya listens.

"I was just feeling bored sitting home doing nothing. I have been doing that past seven months, I can't take it anymore." She said with her head down.

"I have told you, Amaya, when you give birth you can work as hard as you want, the shop I bought is waiting for you." His voice couldn't contain his anger.

"I am sorry, I won't do it again" he scoffed

"I have heard that before. Before you act Amaya please think, think about your health, think about the baby. What if something serious happens to you? What if you fall in and hit your waist or stomach, what will you do? I swear if something happens to both of you, I won't be able to bare it, Amaya." His raging heart simmer down when he saw her in tears.

He got on the bed and hugged her "it's okay, don't cry that's enough. I didn't mean to yell love, I am sorry" Lydia couldn't help but roll her eyes, her brother is a goner.

"I will be good I promise" she sniffed her tears.

Her brothers just shook their heads, how can a baby raise a baby? Bello thought. "You should start acting like a mother would princess" Bello said....
