Reunion

sorry for the wait and this chapter is very short.

Amaya's eyes almost popped out of their sockets with the way they were wide open. She couldn't believe her eyes, she had to look at Mason and then at the people in front of her who were smiling at her.

"Mom, Bello, and Blos" she yelled, tears clouding her eyes sight.

"Princess" they entered the house and hugged her, a group hug. Mason stood at a corner watching the scene unfold before him, Lydia who was watching a movie on her phone was distracted by the noise, she came downstairs and stood beside her brother.

"Who are they?" She whispered
"Her family" he answered her.

"How did? But I thought," she couldn't form a proper statement, her happiness knew no boundaries.

"Let's get in first honey," her mother chuckled, she suddenly remembered that Mason was standing behind her, she went to him and took him by surprise.

She hugged him tightly, burying her head in his chest, her tears soaking his clothes but he didn't mind, what matters is she is hugging him.

"Thank you" he patted her head like a child making her pout.

They went in, and Amaya couldn't let go of her brother's arm, she sat in between Blossom and Bello.

"Blossom, Bello, and mom, meet Lydia, she is Mason's younger sister. Lydia, my mom, and brothers" she introduced them

Lydia greeted her eyes lingered more than necessary on Blossom. "Mason when did you plan all this? I had no idea." He just smiled

"How did you contact them because I don't remember giving you their numbers." He scratched the back of his head

"Umm, I took their numbers from your phone, it wasn't that hard to do." She hummed.

The four of them catch up on the time they have lost, Amaya laughed from time to time, her smiles and laughter brought smiles to Mason's face.

"Amaya I hope you are taking good care of yourself and the baby." Her mom asked. Although she was angry at Amaya for making such a decision on her own, she is happy now, happy to be a grandmother and happy that Mason is attempting to win her daughter's heart.

"Yes mom I am taking care of myself and the baby, he is healthy" her mother nods. The family had their dinner, Amaya didn't eat the okra she made Mason buy.

Mason's parents called later that evening saying they will be coming back in three months.

"Where are you going?" Mason asks. They are getting ready for bed, and Amaya is leaving the room.

"I'll be sleeping with Bello and Blos tonight, I miss doing that." Mason wanted to oppose but he didn't, he understands that she misses them. He kissed her goodnight and she left.

"What are you doing here young lady? You should be with your husband, it is late for you to be up now" Bello scolded, instead of replying to his earlier question, she got in between them and lie down on the bed.

"Princess has he been treating you well? I know he brought us here to make you happy but I want to know if he has been a good husband to you." Blossom asked, he doesn't care if Mason brings down the moon to please his sister if he just finds out that he had made her cry then hell will let loose.

"He has been good, taking care of me and standing my tantrums. Do you know that I get demanding when I am pregnant? Vanessa doesn't want to see me because she is tired of me, but he has never left me to fend for myself." She smiled, and they talked about normal things, catching up with each other, laughing.
