Alex finished his work with his crew late at night, after killing Mack, they had to address other matters. He went home feeling a little headache trying to crawl its way through his head.


When he got home the mansion was in chaos Kimberly was crying in a corner, and the maids trying their best to calm her down while some stood awaiting the wrath of Alexander Quinn.


“What is going on?“ His voice echoed in the house.


“Daddy, mom is gone, we can't find her anywhere.“ Kimberly cried out hugging his father.


“What does she mean by that?“ Alex asked looking at everyone.


“Boss when we were called to the airport to fetch Mack, Miss Laura was in the room sleeping, and when we came back we found the little miss crying, she said her Mummy was nowhere to be found, we've searched for her but we can't find her.“ A guard reported.


Alex rushed to the room looking around like an insane man, he opened the bathroom, and the closet but there were no signs of Laura anywhere.


His anger erupted like a volcano, he pulled the bedspread on the bed and threw it away, and a paper fell on the floor. He picked it up and read the content of the paper.

He took the letter from him and kept it aside without reading it, he held his son's head on his chest. “She left me, I thought she loved me, and I once again gave my heart to the wrong woman” he cried holding his chest, his heart felt like it was being pulled out.


“Get a hold of yourself, Alex, we can still bring her back, she hasn't gone far.“ His dad said.
