Pray nothing to happens to them

The pain she felt was too much, she took in deep breaths to help ease the pain. Her world seemed to stop when she saw blood on her skirt, she thought of the worst.

"I didn't mean to do this I swear." She begged with teary eyes.

Mason regained consciousness, and he rushed to his wife who was crying her eyes out "Mason" Amaya called when she saw him, "Mason my baby" she cried out, her hand reached out to touch the blood but he held her hand.

He pushed everyone aside, carried his wife, and rushed to the hospital. They all followed him behind with another car, Lydia informed Amaya's family of what has happened.

In the car, Mason hugged her tight in an attempt to soothe the pain she was feeling. When they got to the hospital, Amaya was placed on a stretcher they rushed her to the emergency room.

Mason's eyes darkened with anger, the need to shed blood was too hard to ignore. His eyes held unshed tears in them.

"Mason" his mother called softly trying to gain his attention

"What happened? Why was my wife laying down in the pool of her blood? How did she fall" he asked

"I didn't mean to do it, son, it was an accident" Arabella did not expect her to fall, she did not wish for her to lose her baby.

"What happened Baron?" He completely ignored his mother

"Master Mason when Mrs. Campbell was going down the stairs, your mom brushed her back and it was not a mistake." Baron has Amaya to thank for his job, she has been nice to all the servants in the house, and she had begged Mason on their behalf not to fire them.

Blossom and the others entered hearing this, the brothers who love their sister more than anything in the world, felt angry.

"What do you mean by sister was pushed down the stairs?" Blossom asked

Everyone turned to the trio, they didn't know what to say to them, what will they say to her family?

"My brother asked a question," Bello said with red eyes. He is close to Amaya more than he is to the other members of the family, they might bicker but he loves her more than anything in this world.

"Pray nothing happens to my sister or the baby because you won't like what I would do," Bello said to Mason.

"You took advantage of her vulnerable state, made her sign a contract to be your surrogate, you forced her into marrying you, and above all you raped her, she was in the process of giving you what you wanted but you couldn't protect her" Bello had been holding his anger but this was the limit.

Mason's Parents were shocked by the revelation, his mother felt guilty to think she had called someone who will break their union.

For the first time in his life, Mason shed tears, he went down on his knees with a heavy heart and cried. Bello was right, he couldn't protect his wife after everything he has put her through.

Amaya's mother didn't blame him for what had happened so she pulled him up to stand "Don't beat yourself, Mason let's just pray nothing happens to the both of them.''

Mason turned to his mother and said "please leave, I don't want to see your face, you disgust me, mother.''

Inside the emergency room, the doctors tried their best to bring the baby out without operating on her but it was hard, she is losing a lot of blood, and no matter what they try the blood won't stop flowing.

A nurse rushed out of the room on the doctor's command to bring the blood, seeing the nurse with a worried face frightened the people outside.

Mason's father is a doctor and he knows what it means when there is a need for blood. He left everyone and entered the emergency room after washing and sanitizing his hands.

"You can't be here sir," a nurse said

"I am doctor Campbell, let me help my daughter-in-law.'' They let him pass

"Amaya you can do this, try to push my dear" Amaya didn't listen to them, she felt exhausted.

"I want Mason" she cried out they had no option but to bring her husband.

"Mr. Campbell your wife isn't willing to listen to us, she wants you in there" Mason didn't think twice, he entered the room to meet his wife.

His heart skipped when he saw her in tears and covered in sweat. "Honey" he called out, Amaya looked at him with her teary eyes.

"Mason I can't do it, I want to rest," she said

"Hey look at me, you can do it, you are strong enough for this my love. Just give it one more try" Amaya held his hand tight and pushed with a scream, her veins popped out.

"Almost there, push," George declared, she gave it all her strength, she pushed. The baby slide out of her but there was a problem, there was no cry.

The doctor gave the baby two slaps on its butt but no response, three same things. He place two of his fingers on her little chest, he gave it five compactions but nothing happened.

He tilts the baby's head back, sealed his mouth on her mouth and nose, and blows five times into the baby giving her five rescue breathing.

Amaya tried to keep her eyes open to hear her baby cry but she didn't hear it, her baby didn't cry. Mason watched everything happening in front of him like a bad dream.

His father shook his head, there was no response from the baby "I am sorry Mason, we couldn't save her..." Amaya didn't get to hear the rest she passed out.

"Sir please can you step out of the room?" Mason looked like a walking dead, he stepped out of the room giving them space.

"How was it? How is she and the baby?" They asked Mason burst into tears giving them the answer to the question. His father stepped out with a grim expression, he held his son's shoulder to console him.
