Revealing the feelings

"I don't understand, what do you mean by her mother? but the contract clearly states that-" I cut her short.

"fuck the contract Amaya, I don't care about it. I only care about you and our baby." she burst into laughter, laughing so hard I saw a drop of tear.

"what is funny?" I asked getting into a sitting position so I'll be able to look her in the eyes.

"you are, talking about care and all that stuff. The last I remembered you hate my gender, you are only being nice to me because I am carrying your child." a frown mar my face

"I know I said all of that a few months ago but things have changed, I don't just see you as my baby mama, I see you as the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with." she stared at me, her mouth was set into a thin line, slowly she removes my hands from her body, creating space between us.

"the only thing between us is the contract Mason, I don't think we can spend the rest of ourselves together, I don't see you that way." my heart sank, I could feel a tug in my heart like someone was pulling the threads attached to it.

I haven't felt this way for a very long time, but I am not going to give up, I am going to make her fall for me and I won't stop until it happens.

"I know you don't Amaya but I won't give up on you, on us. We are going to live together as a family, you, me, and our children." pulled her close to me, not liking the space between us.

"We shouldn't make promises Mason, let's steak to the deal and not stray away from it. I'll give birth to your child and you can have him I won't come to your house, I won't visit you. Let's forget about the part where I said I want a chance to visit him." does she hate me? I thought we were on good terms.

"do you hate me?" she shook her head lightly before saying,

"I don't hate you Mason it is far from that. Despite your aloof nature, you are a good man. I just want to meet new people, settle down, work then bring my family over." I don't want us to part ways, I won't let that happen.

"We can do that together Amaya, you will work after giving birth I promise not to stop you, we can bring your family over, help your brothers start working too, and get a house for them, we can do it together. Please don't leave me, I have fallen madly in love with you and I can't do without you." I sigh escape her lips

"I don't feel the same Mason, sorry" her voice was low but I heard what she said.

"OK, let me court you, if after that you don't feel the same then I'll stop." her eyes found their way to my face, looking at me for a while before she said

"OK, let's see how far it goes then." she smiled, and my heart skipped a beat. What have you done to me, Amaya? I'll make sure you fall for me.

"you should lay down, I don't want you stressing yourself." I drop a light kiss on her forehead "we are to visit the doctor tomorrow for your check-up." she nods and lies down next to me.
