*Chapter 28
Save house, Unknown destination*

**Nikolai blinked a** few times, trying to adjust to the lighting in his room. Damn, why did he leave on the light last night? Probably because he couldn’t even remember how he got home.

Wait how the hell did he get at home? "Fuck" Nikolai groaned. His head was pounding against his skull. It felt like he was run over by a truck and jumped on by a 400-pound man. Nikolai groaned again and tried to shift on his bed into a better position.

When he couldn't move his legs or arms his eyes snapped open. It was totally dark in the room, well except for the freaky light swinging above his head, causing a cracking sound.

Okay so he wasn't in his room, Nikolai couldn't move because he was tied to a chair and there was a very creepy light swinging and making a creaking sound above his head.

"Hello?" Nikolai called out, his voice echoing in the silent dark room. He heard a chuckle in the corner of the room and snapped his head into that direction. "Someone there?" Nikolai said nervously. Damn, he was like freaking out and he is a man. Nikolai is supposed to be tough and not be freaking out right now.

"Looks like sleeping beauty is awake." Nikolai heard a voice that definitely belonged to a man. The man chuckled again. He recognized that voice from somewhere, but for the life of him, he couldn't remember from where or how.

Nikolai heard footsteps coming closer to him. The man stopped about inches away from the light. Nikolai could only see his pointy shoes. "Who are you? And where the fuck am I?" Nikolai groaned. Damn, why did he have to go to his Father's club last night?

Nikolai heard the creak of a door behind him and suddenly the room was light. He shut his eyes again from the bright light. Nikolai groaned in pain as the headache intensified.

"Boss," The man standing in front of him said. Nikolai heard the clicking of heels. The person spoke, "Get the poor man a Tylenol and water." The person that spoke this time was a girl.

The man silently walked out of the room. "Who are you? And where am I?" The sounds of heels came closer. The girl was standing right behind Nikolai but he couldn't turn around seeing as he was tied to the damn chair.

"Who I am doesn't matter. As for where you are... You're at my boss's safe house. Now as for why you are here... Let's just say I need information from you."

Nikolai heard the screech of a chair. Finally, the girl and the chair were in front of him. But much to his disappointment, the girl was wearing a mask. Her long red hair was hanging over her shoulder. She sat down and stared into Nikolai’s eyes.

"Let's make this quick and simple. Where is your father?" Nikolai looked at her and raised an eyebrow. "I know you from somewhere. I know your eyes... From where do I know you?" He asked getting frustrated that he can't remember from where he had seen her eyes. They were so beautiful he was sure he would remember them from anywhere.

"I ask the questions around here and you answer them. If I get what I want I might just answer your questions. Now I won't ask again... Where is your father?"

"I don't know, he said something about he had to get out of town. The last time I saw him was two weeks ago."

The girl sighed in frustration... "Did you know your father is a gang leader?" Nikolai stayed silent for a second before bursting into laughter. "Oh god... My dad? A gang leader? Wow, you really are funny. "

When Nikolai was done laughing and saw she hadn't moved an inch or laughed he frowned "You're actually serious?" She nodded and he replied, "No I didn't know, obviously." She sighed. Just then the other man walked back in and placed the Tylenol in his mouth unwillingly. Reluctantly Nikolai opened my mouth so the man could put water in his mouth.

When Nikolai was done the girl and the man walked to the other end of the room. Although they walked away, they didn't go too far so Nikolai could still hear what they were saying.

"He knows nothing. He didn't even know his dad was in a gang." The man sighed and shook his head. "What do we do now?" The girl stayed silent for a few seconds before replying.

"Do you still have his mother and sister followed?" Nikolai growled thinking about how his family was in danger. What the hell had his father done to piss these people off?

"Yeah," The girl nodded and looked at Nikolai. She turned back facing the man. "Bring them in. Don't let anybody see though." The man nodded before walking out of the room.
