Chapter 38

*Chapter 38
2101 Woodpine Road*

**I stood up** from my bed where I had lazily laid the whole day since it's the first Saturday I have had off in a while. Looking at the time I saw that I had about 4 hours before Nikolai would be here, and to get ready for tonight.

Luckily I had already gym clothes on so I quickly went to the gym and did Cardio exercises for 30 minutes. Like, jog on the treadmill for 10 minutes, abusing the punching bag for 10 minutes then running treadmill for another 10 minutes again.

I used a towel and quickly dried off the sweat. I walked back to my room and into the bathroom. Quickly undressing and getting in the shower. I washed my hair and shaved after that I washed my body with my Grape scented shower jell.

Getting out after 30 minutes I walked into my room and dried my body then putting body moisturizer on that was also grape scented. I walked to my closet to where all the dresses hanged after I put on matching lace underwear.

I looked through the dresses until I saw the perfect one. The dress was a white-silver color and had a lot of lace on it.

The dress was a left one-shoulder dress that had a left lace arm from my shoulder to my wrist. On the left side of my body, the lace connected the two white pieces of material, running from under my arm to the ground. The lace on the dress was covered in sparkles and tiny rhino stones. The dress also had a slit that went from above mid tight down.

I went back to my room and laid it on my bed before walking back to look for a pair of silver ankle strap sandals, rhinestone stiletto high heels that matched with the material of the dress color. Out of the glass safe I took the pair of real stainless steel and sterling silver earrings that has soft blue diamond in the middle.

After I got dressed two of my household assistance walked in. Louis started on my hair as the other one, Spencer started with my nails. My hair was done in a messy up-do bun with a pretty silver piece holding it together. Spencer did my nails in silver acrylic with silver glitter on it.

After they left I did my own makeup. I chose to stay mostly natural other than my eyes which were done with winged eyeliner, dark eyeliner with silver and light blue eye-shadow. My lips were a light shade of nude with lip-gloss to make them shine.

After I was done I looked up at the clock and saw that it was 18:27 pm. The intercom beeped in my room and Mr. Pennyworth's voice comes through from the other side. "Mr. Aksakor, Mr. Moretti is here." I nodded well he was early. I walked to the intercom and pressed the button so my voice came through on the other side where Mr. Pennyworth was waiting for my answer, "Let him in and tell him he is a bit early and that I’m not done. I'll be down in 10 minutes."

I walked back to the table and put hairspray in my hair so that it won't fall out if we danced. I walked to the bedside table and put 2 peppermints into my mouth. I picked up my phone seeing it fully charged since I put it on charge when I started getting ready three hours ago.

I walked out of my room to the stairs. I heard Nikolai's voice downstairs. "Alfred, good evening," I stated while walking down the stairs, looking down at the stairs to make sure I don't trip over my dress in these heels.

When I was on the second last step I looked up and saw Nikolai standing with his mouth wide open, eyes big. Mr. Pennyworth stood next to him with a small smile on his face. Alfred cleared his throat and Nikolai did the same after the shock wore off. He walked to me and took my hand in his. "You are looking quite beautiful tonight." He mumbled in my ear. I chuckled and smirked.

"You don't look too bad," It was true. Nikolai styled his hair in an I-Just-woke-up look or maybe it was an I-just-had-wild-sex look but it looked very good on him. He had shaved the 5 o'clock shadow that was on his jaw yesterday.

He wore black jeans that hugged his muscular thighs with a white button-down shirt. The shirt was neatly tucked into his jeans showing his toned stomach slightly. With that, he wore a silver tie that suspiciously fitted with my dress. His black suit jacket fitted his big arms and wide shoulders like it was made just for him.

He took his right hand from behind his back and a single red rose appeared in front of me. I smiled and looked up at his eyes. He smiled back at me. Mr. Pennyworth cleared his throat once again "Miss, the limo is here." I cleared my throat, breaking eye contact with Nikolai and nodded. Nikolai placed his left hand on my lower back and I sucked in a breath when there was a spark.

Damn, that couldn’t mean anything good. Nikolai and I walked out the door to the black awaiting limo. We got in and there was a stand in the middle that was holding a whiskey bottle and 2 glasses. I sighed in relief and poured the 2 glasses and gave one to Nikolai while downing mine.

Pouring a second glass, he nodded and we downed this drink together. "So I just want you to know that there will be a lot of people there. Scary and intimidating people, people that see me like a little sister and daughter. So just be prepared." Nikolai nodded then asked, "What is this celebration for?" I breathed in looking for a lie that wasn't too far from the truth.

"Originally there were only 5 families businesses apart from Silva's business, but about 50 Years ago Silva's father created the 6th business when he was 20 years old. It took him 10 years until the business was popular so we have been celebrating the 6th addition to the business for the last 40 years." Nikolai nodded and looked away

"So everybody there will be some sort of family or friend to you?" I looked out the window. "The guest will be from Silva's family and 2 other families that we are good bases on now." Nikolai nodded and his Adam's apple bobbed.

Fuck that looked sexy. I quickly looked back at the window trying to calm my hormones down.

"How many guests do you think will be there?" Nikolai asked nervously. I sighed "Silva booked out the whole Hotel for tonight. There would be... around 500 guests." Nikolai's head shot to mine and his eyes were big.

"500? I thought you said they were family" I nodded and the Limo came to a stop. "Nikolai breath, the family and their business people will be there. Remember it's a business function of sorts. It's held to make connections and friends." He nodded and swallowed again. Nikolai's side of the Limo opened and he got out. I put my hand in his waiting one to get out. I hooked my arm in his and we walked up the stairs of the hotel.

When we entered I looked around the room. I counted about 40 men with guns in the entry room of the hotel. "Why are there men with guns?" He asked suddenly tensely. I grew nervous not knowing what to say. "Uhm, well the three families and business people are here, a lot of rich people that need protection from people." I kicked myself think about why I couldn't get a better answer.

Nikolai accepted that answer thinking that it was true. Well, it sort of was true, the people here tonight were important and needed protection. He stayed silent as we walked to the receptionist. "Ma'am, are you here for the private party?"

I nodded and she asked "Name?" I told her my name and she entered it into the computer. She nodded and said "Welcome miss Aksakor. Leo will take you to the ballroom." A large man walked up to us and led us down the hall, to where the party was.

There were people having conversations all around so I relaxed and Leo led us into the room. I nodded thanking him. I heard Nikolai letting out a shaky breath "Damn, you weren't kidding about the whole 500 guests’ thing." Nikolai nervously said as he looked around the room. I nodded.

There was another girl by the door "Miss Aksakor, please let me take you to your table." I nodded and the blond girl leads us to our table. She tried looking at Nikolai secretly. I chuckled softly, but there was a flutter of jealousy. Once again I kicked myself, anybody could look at him, and he wasn't mine to keep or be jealous of.

I saw Silva and the blond girl walked away. Silva stood up when he saw me, Grace next to him. Silva said something to the man they were talking to before walking with Grace over to us. "Tatiana, don't you just look stunning." I smiled and Silva hugged me kissing me on the forehead. Grace took me into her arms and hugged me as well. "Silva, Grace."

Grace looks at Nikolai and then looks back at me "Who is this handsome man?" I chuckled and replied "This is Nikolai," I looked at Nikolai "This is Grace, Silva's wife and this is Silva, my guardian." Grace raised an eyebrow and I mouthed 'Later' she nodded.

Silva and Nikolai started talking. I took the chance and told Grace "That's Nikolai, the man I happened to have had kidnapped a few days ago." Her eyes went big and she replied "Venom's son?"

I nodded "Yes but he didn't know his father was in a gang, and I know because we even had his mother and sister there threatening to torture them." She nodded. "He also doesn't know we are a Mafia. We gave him the forgetting syrup thing but I think he is starting to remember."

Her eyes grew wide and she said, "Just tell him not to mention Venom or his father's name." I nodded, knowing that would cause a fight to break out, which would mean he would find out the hard way about our family. By the ‘Hard-Way’ I mean with a few bullet holes.

I walked back to Nikolai, "Hey, can you do me a favor?" He nodded and I smiled innocently while saying, "Don't mention your last name, okay?" Nikolai raised an eyebrow before asking why. I sighed and said, "There was a family with the surname Moretti that most of the people in this room don't like, so unless you want a fight please don't mention your surname." He nodded and continued talking to Silva.

Later Nikolai and I went to sit at our table when Silva announced that the first course will be served. At the table sat Grace, Silva, Dimitri, and his date, Ace and his date, Grace's sister and her husband then Nikolai and I.

"So are you two dating?" Graced asked. I quickly answered "No Grace, he is just a friend," Nikolai nodded and Graces just said okay. There was an awkward silence at the table as we ate.

After the first course, Nikolai and I danced. "You look beyond beautiful Tatia, I could just eat you," Nikolai whispered in my ear and a shiver went down my spine. Nikolai smirked against the side of my face when he felt the shiver.

I mumbled under my breath. Nikolai squeezed my hip and pulled me closer. Lust filled me when I felt his hard-on against my stomach. "You feel that? That’s what you do to me every damn time." He groaned into my ear.

I pulled away from Nikolai when the song ended. We walked back to our table and sat down. I grinned when Dimitri started talking Nikolai. I looked around the table before placing a hand on Nikolai's thigh.

He stuttered over his words and shot me a look. I smirked and circled my forefinger on the inside of his thigh close to his already hard manhood. He jumped a little before groaning softly. I only heard it because I sat so close to him.

He placed his hand on my leg and I smirked when he frowned because he remembered I had on a long dress and he couldn't torture me as well, I chuckled.

Dimitri looked away quickly when Silva asked him something. I took a chance and quickly unzipped his jeans. Nikolai jerked forward and shot me a glare.

I slipped my hand into his pants. Before he could protest Dimitri was talking to him again. I chuckled again and rubbed his groin with my thumb. He groaned and Dimitri asked if he was okay. Nikolai just nodded because he almost moaned when I slipped my hand into his boxers and grabbed his hard-on in my hand.

As he struggled to talk while I was giving him a hand-job, he bit his lip and groaned when he finally cummed. Nikolai looked at me as I took my hand out of his pants and took my finger into my mouth. He groaned again and Dimitri asked Nikolai "Are you sure you're okay mate? You're not feeling well?" Nikolai nodded "Yeah I don't think I'm okay."

I chuckled and looked at Silva. "Silva, we're going to go, Nikolai is not feeling well." Silva nodded and we stood up. I hooked my arm into Nikolai's and we walked out. When the guy at the entrance called the limo we got in and closed the door. Nikolai quickly closed the visor between us and the driver.

When it was fully closed he pulled me closer to kiss me and this time I kissed back.
