Clear View University*
**My dad spared** me a glance before looking away and started talking in the microphone. "My daughter, Ava is an amazing girl." He cleared his throat before continuing "I have never loved someone that isn't her mother as much as I love her. She is my daughter and makes me proud."
He looked around the bleachers but not at me. He clears his throat again. "I'm Richard South; I work as CUO at a big company of Vela Architecture under Ava's Uncle, my wife's brother." He continued talking but I wasn't really listening.
I was pulled out of my thoughts when the principal was talking again. "Thank you, Richard. Next, I would like to call up..."

When all the fathers were done Principle McLee shook their hands and then they walked out. “Thank you to all the students who got the fathers to participate with us. You all have the rest of the day off. See you tomorrow at school, like any normal school day."
Everybody stood up and we walked out. Nikolai and I were in the parking when I heard Nikolai's name being called. We both turned around and saw Ava walking over here. She had this big fat grin on her face when she saw that I was with him. "Nick will you please come to meet my father. He really wants to meet you. Plus you could bring your girlfriend."
She said innocently. I glared at her and saw her smirking at me. I sighed then smiled. "Sure," I replied surprising her. Nikolai and I walked over to her car where a man was standing. When we were close enough he looked up and smiled at Ava but his smile dropped into a frown when he saw me. He quickly cleared his throat and smiled.
"Hey, I'm Richard. You are?" He asked Nikolai and me. I grinned at him and smirked at Ava.
I looked back at him and said: "Dad, this is Nikolai!" Nikolai looked down and frowned at me in confusion. "Well it was nice seeing you again but we have to go." I nodded and pulled Nikolai after me.
