**Tatiana always surprised** Nikolai! If it wasn't finding out she was in a mafia gang it was finding out she was in jail. If it wasn't that it would be the secret of her being one of the best underground illegal fighters.

Nikolai has heard of The Natural Killer before. The name was one of the reasons he wanted to start underground fighting until Nikolai got the surprise 3 years ago that The Natural Killer was a girl. That gave him more motives to want to join. Nikolai wanted to be as good as she was.

Then she disappeared off the grid, Nikolai was angry at himself for not acting faster to meet one of his role models and he was angry at her for just leaving her legacy and everything behind. What surprised him more was to find out that The Natural Killer was actually his girlfriend.

Nikolai was stunned when Tatiana gave him the address to the abandoned factory where he used to visit every Friday and Saturday night. Nikolai would forever remember Ava's face and reaction. Saturday Nikolai had gone to her house to confront her of what she posted on Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace when he received Tatiana's message.

Ava looked stunned and so happy when Nikolai asked her on a date. He remembers how Ava giggled and talked about everything under the sun about how relieved she was that they were trying to get together and Nikolai just stayed silent most of the ride.

But Ava’s body went stiff when she saw them drive into the abandoned factory with a lot of cars and people. Nikolai remembers her question and his answer perfectly. "Nick, what are we doing here?" Nikolai wanted to tell her the truth of Tatiana asking him to bring Ava here but instead, he lied and said "If you want us to be together you will have to learn to live with the things I love most in this life. Plus I want you to meet someone special to me."

At first, Ava was shocked then she had this big smile on her face and looked happy. For a second Nikolai felt guilty for playing with her feeling but the thing was that Nikolai never ever would like Ava. Sure they hooked up in the past but that was it. Ava always wanted more but Nikolai would never give it to her, he didn't want her the way she wanted him.

Nikolai briefly remember the fight but what was the best was at the end of the night when Tatiana had gone back to her room and Ava told him she wanted to leave. Since Nikolai was her ride there he had to take her home. They had gotten into the car and Nikolai was about to start the ignition when Ava stopped him.

"You really love her don't you?" Ava’s voice was dripping with venom but she had tears in her eyes. "Yes," Nikolai reply was stiff and he really didn't want a heart to heart talk with Ava.

"If she didn't come to this school, would we have become something?" Nikolai looked at her and hesitated. he asked "The truth?" Ava nodded and Nikolai continued "No, I didn’t like you that way, never have, never will." Ava looked out the window and sniffed.

"Do you like the dangerous vibes she gives or what is it about her that made you fall in love?" Nikolai combed his hand through his hair and sat back into his car seat. "I don't know really. I don't know when it happened but it was at homecoming when we danced and I looked over at her that I realized she wasn't like the other girls. She made me work for it unlike you that just gave it to me. She made me laugh and smile, she impressed me."

"Nikolai, it won't be long before you realized that you don't belong with her." Ava looked at Nikolai with fire in her eyes. "I will make you see it that we should be together and that she was just temporary." Nikolai sighed and started the car.

The ride was silent until he dropped her off. She was about to get out of the car when Nikolai stopped her. "You can try Ava, but there isn’t a lot of things in this world that would make me love her less." Nikolai let go of Ava’s hand and she got out. The car door slammed shut and Nikolai took off not waiting to see if Ava gets to her house safely.
