Alpha Conflict
**Angel**
The day was hot and sunny when I decided to take Lowrence and Antonia to the park. We needed some time away from the mansion, far from the constant tensions. The children ran to the swings, laughing and having fun. I was happy to see them so carefree, even if just for a moment.
While watching the children play, my phone buzzed in my pocket. It was a message from Locke. "I'm coming to the park. We need to talk."
I sighed, knowing the conversation was necessary but dreading what might happen. Minutes later, Locke appeared, walking toward me with a smile. But before he could say anything, Dimitri appeared on the other side of the park, clearly unhappy to see Locke there.
"Dimitri, what are you doing here?" I asked, trying to stay calm.
"I came to see the children," he replied, his eyes fixed on Locke. "I didn't know we'd be having company."
"I'm not here to cause trouble, Dimitri," Locke said, crossing his arms over his chest. "I just want to talk to Angel."
"Talk? Is that what you call interfering with my family?" Dimitri retorted, his voice full of anger.
The two men began to approach each other, the tension rapidly rising. I knew I needed to intervene before things got out of hand.
"Please, stop this," I pleaded, placing myself between them. "We're in a park, the children are here. Can't we resolve this civilly?"
"Dimitri, you don't have the right to decide who Angel can or cannot talk to," Locke said, ignoring my plea.
"You think you can just come into our lives and mess everything up?" Dimitri shouted, his fists clenched.
And then, something changed. The anger in Dimitri's eyes seemed to intensify, and before I could react, he began to transform. His body grew, dark fur covering his skin as he transformed into a large wolf. Locke, not staying behind, also began his transformation, his gray wolf emerging in response to the challenge.
The children began to cry, frightened by the sudden change. I ran to them, trying to calm them as the two wolves faced off, growling at each other. People around the park began to scream and run, trying to get away from the imminent confrontation.
"Dimitri! Locke! Stop this!" I screamed, but my words were ignored. The two alphas were beyond reason.
The wolves attacked each other, their claws and fangs meeting skin and fur. The sound of growls and barks filled the air as they fought fiercely. I tried to think of a way to intervene, but I knew that putting myself between them could be dangerous.
As I watched the battle, I saw more wolves approaching. It was Dimitri's pack, alerted by the confrontation. They surrounded the two alphas, trying to separate the fight, but the struggle was too intense to be easily contained.
One of the wolves, larger and older, stepped forward, growling at the two. It was Leonardo, Dimitri's beta, trying to restore order. "Stop this now!" he growled, his voice full of authority.
Dimitri and Locke hesitated for a moment, but the anger still burned in their eyes. Leonardo positioned himself between them, using his body to separate the two. "You are scaring the children and putting everyone in danger. This needs to stop!"
Dimitri was the first to back down, his breaths heavy as he slowly returned to his human form. Locke followed suit, both exhausted and wounded from the battle.
"This isn't over," Dimitri said, his words full of bitterness. "But we won't resolve this here."
Locke, still furious, nodded. "Agreed. But don't think I'll give up so easily."
With the help of Leonardo and the other wolves, the situation was finally under control. The children were scared but unharmed. I hugged them, trying to calm them as my heart still raced.
"Dimitri, Locke, we need to find a way to resolve this without violence," I said, my voice firm despite the fear I felt. "This isn't good for anyone, especially the children."
Dimitri looked at me, his gaze softening a bit. "I know, Angel. I just want to protect our family."
"And I just want to see you happy," Locke added, his voice calmer now.
I sighed, feeling the weight of the situation. "Let's all go home. We need a plan, something that will allow us to live in peace. We can't continue like this."
As we walked back, I knew the road ahead would be difficult. But for now, at least, we had a temporary understanding.
**Dimitri**
As we walked back to the mansion, I couldn't shake the anger from my mind. Locke dared to challenge my authority and get too close to Angel. Something had to be done.
As soon as we reached the mansion, I waited until everyone was occupied and called Angel aside. "We need to talk," I said, my voice low but firm.
She nodded, following me to an empty room. Once we were alone, I closed the door and grabbed her arm, not hard enough to hurt but firm enough to show my determination.
"What do you think you're doing, Dimitri?" she asked, her eyes wide with surprise and anger.
"Angel, you need to understand that Locke is not someone we can trust," I said, looking directly into her eyes. "He's trying to come into our lives and mess everything up."
"You think controlling me and fighting him in the street is going to solve anything?" she retorted, pulling her arm away.
"I'm trying to protect our family," I insisted, my grip loosening. "And part of that means keeping Locke away from us."
"Protecting our family doesn't mean acting like a possessive lunatic," she said, her voice low but full of intensity. "You're scaring the children and putting everyone at risk with this behavior."
I let go of her arm, running my hand through my hair in frustration. "I just want what's best for all of us."
"Then start acting like a responsible adult, Dimitri," she said, her voice softening a bit. "We need to resolve this in a rational way, for the sake of the children and ourselves."
