The Princess

Raziya smiled as she picked up Jagger's clothes to clad herself in them. Her dress was no longer useful since it was ripped by Jagger during their moment so she had to wear whatever she saw around her to leave Jagger's chambers.

She giggled as she looked over at Jagger, he slept so peacefully like he wasn't the brutal Alpha King Jagger. Raziya tiptoed carefully so she won't wake him and gave him a goodbye peck on his cheek.

As Raziya left his chambers, the guards looked at her in horror when they saw her in Jagger's clothing but they didn't say a word and let her pass.

Raziya snickered at their demeanour, it was a little bit bright in the morning almost dawn. She didn't want to induce any form of gossip around the pack so she made sure to ensure she woke up early, so she could sneak back to her to without anyone noticing.

She heaved a sigh of relief when she finally entered her room without anybody seeing her or noticing her movement. She ran to her bed grinning and landed on it like it was the best thing to do.

"Princess where have you been I was worried" Sara's voice came from a dark corner

Raziya flinched at the sudden sound "You startled me" Raziya chided with a scowl on her face.

"I'm sorry Princess" Sara Apologized training her eyes to the ground in remorse.

Raziya giggled at Sara nudging her playfully "It's okay no need to act like I'm killing you, sometimes I wonder if you are a wolf, you should be fearless like one"

Sara grinned "I am an Omega, I'm the least of the wolves in the hierarchy so I know my place as a She-Omega so I'm used to not being fearless"

Raziya nodded "we will talk about this later and you might show me your Wolf later but for now, help get prepared for my family's arrival" she grabbed Sara's hands excitedly and led Sara toward her wardrobe.

"Princess you are unusually happy this morning, I didn't see you on your bed this morning when I walked in, and you are putting on the Alpha's clothes," Sara observed Raziya giving her a suspicious look.

"My parents are coming to see me for the first time since I arrived here after I had been away from them for so long. Shouldn't I be happy about that?" Raziya shrugged

"You should be happy about it princess but I know but you are putting on the Alpha's clothe instead of the night dress I last saw you with yesterday"

"Did you __" Sara gasped covering her mouth as her eyes shone in the realisation of what she was guessing meant.

Raziya didn't have any explanation to give to Sara. She noticed Sara had already figured it out so there was no need of protecting her secret any longer and she considered Sara her only friend in the foreign land filled with wolves.

"Yes," Raziya replied grinning at the thoughts she was already having about what transpired the previous night.

Sara blinked her eyes in surprise "If you have been giggling about it since you came back that means you are okay about it right?" Sara asked calmly.

Raziya nodded smiling, feeling shy and embarrassed.

"I knew it since he couldn't take his eyes off you at the execution ground and you might be with child" Sara squealed observing Raziya's body and stomach.

Raziya rolled her eyes at Sara's statement "It doesn't work that way I'm fully human you know and my body doesn't work that way besides it was just once and I'm on my safe days" Raziya lectured

Sara nodded still grinning, her face turned sour as she held Raziya's hands looking into her eyes with care.

"What's wrong?" Raziya questioned sensing Sara's change of mood.

"If the Alpha's concubines find out you might be in danger. They might be Jealous and would want to protect their place, especially Nailah since you are human" Sara feared for her friend.

Raziya scoffed, backing Sara and looking out of the window "Not under the Alpha's watch, remember I'm his esteemed guest now and you know the fate of those maids that tried to attack and get me killed.

Raziya felt optimistic that nothing bad was going to happen to her. Raziya turned back to face Sara with a critical stare "if you don't tell anyone nobody will find out."

"My lips are sealed, I won't breathe a word to anyone" Sara pressed her lips together and used her hands to figuratively show Raziya that her lips were indeed zipped.

Raziya nodded grinning "Now, get me prepared to meet my parents" She squealed throwing her hands up in the air and landing on her bed.


Jagger woke up to a familiar scent hitting his nostrils strongly, he looked around his bed for Raziya but he didn't find her. He sat up grinning as he remembered the previous night. He winced as he felt pain banging on his head because of the too much wine he had the previous night. He looked around the ground for his clothes but he couldn't find them, he noticed Raziya's shredded night dress lying casually on the floor. He smirked picking it and inhaling her scent. His wolf growled.

"I'll keep your ruined dress for memory while you can keep mine" he muttered still grinning. He walked to his wardrobe holding his head in pain and picked a cloak from his neatly arranged array of clothes and replaced it with Raziya's night dress.

"You should count yourself lucky and honoured to be the first woman and mere human to have my clothes in your collection" He muttered amusedly.

He wore his clothes and moved over to his fireplace to ignite the fireplace as it was a little bit chilly. He stretched out his hands in the usual form to lit up the coals but nothing was happening. Troubled and perplexed he tried again but nothing happened. He growled and wondered if he had too much wine in his system which caused his powers to glitch. Cursing under his breath and swearing never to drink again. He walked off to his study and sat down crossing his legs over his table. He mind-linked the guards outside to get his beta immediately.

"Did you have a good night's sleep Alpha king Jagger?" Jerri smirked as he was walking in from the door sarcasm laced in his voice.

"Yes I did" Jagger growled not minding his beta's sarcasm. He was far too worried about his powers that seemed to glitch than Jerri's sarcasm.

Jerri nodded amused "is there anything I can do for my lord or is the princess still here? Do you need me to escort her back?" Jerri inquired.

"She has gone, get me medication for a headache from the physician quick so you can get back here to plan the day with me"Jagger ordered.
Jerri ran out swiftly to perform his task.

Jagger pondered on why his powers weren't working, he tried another method but nothing happened. He feared what the outcome would be if he didn't figure it out real quick. He couldn't even confide in anyone because he couldn't trust anyone with this top secret.

Jerri came back after a few minutes with a glass of water and the medication. Jagger grabbed them with urgency, gulping the whole liquid medication into his mouth. he drank the water to support it.

He cleaned the tiny drop of liquid on his lips with the back of his hand as he cleared his throat and hoped the medication will start working effectively.

He crossed back his legs on his table, leaning his back well on his seat. He glanced up at Jerri who was standing across from him waiting for orders so he could enforce it

"Are the chambers well prepared and ready to receive King Zachary and his entourage?" Jagger examined

"Preparations have been made and we are ready to receive them" Jerri answered.

"Good Job Jerri, they should be arriving any moment. Hope you've informed the Omega's to give a signal if they arrive or if something goes wrong"

"Yes Alpha" Jerri was sceptical about letting King Zachary and his family come over. He was shocked when the Alpha authorized a letter back to Titasal kingdom approving of his coming to their territory.

"What if they ambush and attack us? Jerri feared.

Jaggar furrowed his brows, frowning at Jerri's cowardice. "They can't, they are mere humans they can't sneak up on us and besides King Zachary is scared of my wrath. He won't attempt anything stupid and treacherous."

"Why did you allow them here is it because the Princess has found your favour" Jerri questioned. He was noticing Jagger's sudden interest and kindness toward Raziya even though she killed his gama and was a mere human.

"Go and get yourself busy Jerri, the reasons shouldn't concern you" Jagger scowled at Jerri for asking him questions that were directly not his business. Jerri had no right to question his judgement and how he treated Raziya. Everyone was starting to piss him because they were all concerned about how he treated his property. The princess was his woman and nobody could do or say anything otherwise.
