"Princess, did you come to see me?" Layla beamed as she saw Raziya approaching her. Raziya nodded grinning as she embraced her briefly.

"how has it been for you all this while?" Layla asked as she beckoned to Raziya to take a seat.

Raziya sat down tilting her head to face Layla "It's been great, thanks to the Alpha and people like you that still treat me well."

Layla nodded "I heard your parents came over to see you, is that true?

"Yes, they came over, news indeed flies fast" Raziya smiled. "The more reason I came here I would want to give them a treat because I've missed them so much. I would want to eat and be merry with them. So that's why I came over to organize things from here." Raziya added.

"That's so thoughtful of you, this is a true example of how a luna should behave she should be able to organize and treat visiting guests appropriately" Layla Praised Raziya.

"What is a Luna?" Raziya asked innocently. Layla smiled at Raziya's innocence "A luna is the mate of the Alpha king."

Raziya smiled nervously as Layla explained "why are you attributing me to a luna, I won't be Luna. Besides they are just my family members. They are not guests to me." She nudged Layla playfully.

"I know sadly, you won't be luna but you are showing qualities of a luna, something Dini or Nailah fails to have" Layla sighed lamenting.

Raziya knew she wasn't going to be Luna but she felt hurt knowing whatever was going on with her and the Alpha was going to stop because an Alpha needed a Luna to give him an heir and also support him in his reign. She was human and he was a werewolf there was no way he would want to choose a human as his mate. Raziya was jealous and wondered who would be his mate, she laughed as she imagined it to be Dini or Nailah. For the first time in her life, she wished she was a werewolf like them so the Alpha could maybe think of making her his Luna. She couldn't understand the feeling of attraction she was getting with the Alpha but it felt so strong.

After Raziya had informed Layla what she wanted and how she wanted the delicacy to be like she left for her chambers.

"Raziya" Queen Heba squealed delightedly as she saw her daughter again.

"Mother she isn't going anywhere stop hugging her like she is going to disappear" Prince Archie Joked.

Queen Heba sent him a glare "I don't know the next time I am going to see her, you know the Alpha said we are leaving tomorrow so I need to make use of the little time I have to spend it graciously with her"

Raziya rolled her eyes as she drew apart and lunged at Prince Archie to ruffle his hair but Archie was smarter as he caught her hands in the air.

"Finally you are showing us why you are the next in line to the throne after father," Rana remarked as she entered the room.

Raziya giggled and freed herself from Prince Archie's hands as she lunged again for his hair this time not missing the target because Prince Archie's attention was diverted to Princess Rana.

He chased after Raziya but they halted when the door opened with maids carrying in plates and trays of different delicacies.

As if on cue King Zachary entered the room as he sat down at the head of the table beside his wife who had already taken her seat.

Prince Archie retired to the table taking a seat beside Rana, who was seating on the other hand side of the king. Raziya instructed the maids who to serve as she decided to give them each their favourite dish.

Queen Heba beamed as she watched her daughter Raziya, so much had changed with her and she was so glad because it was a positive change. She never imagined Raziya trying to make an effort to please them but right in front of her eyes, her daughter was doing it. She blessed the protectors for watching over her daughter and grooming her well.

After the meal, the family members sat down together as they listened to Raziya talk about her stay in the wolf's pack and how it was for her to adjust. She told them the truth about everything leaving out the part of her and the Alpha's intimate moment.

The King apologized to his daughter for not getting her out at the onset of her troubles, he explained to her how everyone he met didn't want to have anything to do with Alpha Jagger because of his ruthless and wicked behaviour which Raziya understood and attested to to his behaviours.

Prince Archie was the first to retire to his chambers first to sleep before the King and the Queen followed suit to their chambers also to sleep leaving Princess Rana and Princess Raziya.

The room was as quiet as a graveyard as both princesses sat down in thoughts. It was awkward because they always had one fight or the other.

Raziya looked across her sister, her head was bowed down a little, her eyes were closed as if she was meditating and her hands were crossed under her breast.

"Rana" Princess Raziya called slowly steadying her gaze on her sister. Rana's attention shifted to Raziya as she opened her eyes to look at her.

"I'm sorry for all that had happened between us, I know I was a brat and an arrogant sister to you, during my time here I reflected and I'm deeply sorry" Raziya admitted her guilt wholeheartedly.

Princess Rana smiled "No, Raziya I was just too hard on you because of the way our mother treated you I felt a little bit jealous so I understand your emotions then. You were protecting yourself from my bitter soul"

"I'm sorry Rana I just want things to be good between us, I don't know if I will ever come back to the kingdom but one thing I don't want to regret is not making amends with you. So please forgive me, Rana"

Rana stood up from her seat and went over to Raziya. She cupped Raziya's face like she was a little child. She started into Raziya's beautiful eyes that were glittering because of the illumination the candlelight brought to the room.

"I forgive you Raziya I have never held anything against you, my little sister. So will you forgive me also?" Rana asked.

Raziya grinned "I've forgiven you, Rana"

"So can I get a big hug?" Princess Rana asked laughing nervously

Raziya nodded as she stood up. Princess Rana pulled her into a very big hug. Princess Rana closed her eyes as she stroked Princess Raziya's hair and patted her back. She was glad that she and her sister made peace. She was nervous on her Journey because she didn't know how Raziya would feel seeing her.

Raziya left their kingdom with both of them saying mean things to each other. She didn't know if Raziya had become worst since she was in Alpha Jagger territory but now she was glad that things had changed between her and her sister. She was also glad her sister had changed a bit.

She didn't want to leave, she wanted to remain in that position with Raziya but Raziya was getting choked up. Raziya was wiggling her way out of Rana's grasp. Rana chuckled and pulled out.

"I leave you to retire to your chambers while I go over to mine. It's late already" Princess Raziya suggested. "Good night Rana, see you tomorrow" Raziya added

Rana nodded "Good night Raziya" she answered walking away but she stopped as she remembered something. "Raziya" she called out, Raziya turned back to her sister's voice. They were walking away in opposite directions back to their chambers. "Your maid begged me to tell you that she misses you and always hopes you are always in safe hands."

Raziya smiled, she also missed Mona and sometimes mistook Sara for Mona. "Tell her I am safe and I miss her too," Raziya replied and walked to the door.

Raziya walked briskly in fear to her chambers because it was dark and the paths were lonely. It was dead silent except for the cricket sounds and croaking of the frogs. She heaved a sigh of relief immediately after she had successfully entered her room.



Jagger paced from one end of his room to another end. His mind was clouded with Princess Raziya. Every fibre of him wanted her in his bed close to him, his wolf wanted her, and he was fighting the urge to send for her. His powers were still not back which was a problem for him also but his mind was divided. He couldn't think properly without Raziya's image drifting into his mind. He couldn't decipher the feelings of attachment he was having towards Raziya. Raziya was bringing out a part of him that was hidden.

He sat down on his bed scratching his head restlessly. He wondered if Raziya was his mate but he knew the answer already. A mere human couldn't possibly be his mate yet it was like Raziya was his mate and has unlocked his emotions from wherever they were locked. No woman that has ever been with him had made him feel the way Princess Raziya made him feel. He knew she was special the first time he saw her the reason he didn't kill her on the spot.
