Prince Archie stopped coughing and bleeding immediately, tho he remained unconscious. But Raziya's heart had already stopped working.

She looked at her father, not knowing if she was to feel betrayed or understand him for not wanting to watch his only son die. But either way, she could feel her own self die.

She looked at her mother, then at her father and gave a glance at the Sadist Alpha who was having a grim on his face.

"No", she found herself muttering. "It's... It's not true, father. How can you say that?"

Queen Heba was in disarray, her fingers running through her head. She left the Prince who was still unconscious on the floor and ran to Raziya.

"Please, Jagger, we...we can talk about this. There is still a way to settle this amicably. She's just a child - a child who made a mistake", she was holding Raziya's hand as she blithered.

Alpha Jagger who had been chewing silently on his apple suddenly scoffed and leaned forward.

"Did you just call a twenty-two-year-old a child? If she's a child, you're indirectly calling me one as well. Besides, I'm pretty sure she's been warming the bed of a man".

Despite how discourteous he was, no one could talk back at him. All they could do was beg.

"Please, Jagger; let's just come to a peaceful conclusion. Please", Queen Heba was still holding Raziya's hand.

"There is no peaceful agreement, Queen Heba!" Jagger suddenly sprang to his feet, rage echoing in his voice. His non-conviction made the King lose all hope.

"Your daughter killed my gamma. From where I come from, it's an offense punishable by death",

"But, I didn't mean to kill him!" Raziya found herself voicing out, although tears stung the brim of her eyes. "Maybe you should ask your gamma why he was at the border. It's not just my fault. He was in his wolf shape; he looked like an animal and that's the reason I accidentally shot him. It wasn't my fault".

Her words left a silence that lasted for a while. She had her gaze fixed on the floor with her hand still being held by her mother and when the silence became uncomfortable, she looked up at the Alpha. Getting the look in his eyes, she realized she had made a terrible mistake. She swiftly returned her gaze to the floor and squeezed her mother's hand tight.

The Alpha's eyes had darkened as every hint of smile and sarcasm washed off his face. Raziya may not know it, but her churlish words were more offensive than the gamma's death.

His dark eyes studied her intently as they paced from her face to her feet. Then, with an unreadable expression, he sauntered towards her.

Raziya's breath was struggling in her lungs as she felt the Alpha come up close to her. His smell was so strong and the aura around him was powerful, it made her cringe. She squeezed her mother's hand even more tightly, but there was little the Queen could do at that moment. And finally l, Alpha Jagger stood close to her - so close, she could hear his breath.

"Initially," he gruffed. "I planned on killing you. But realizing your kind of person..."

Raziya could feel his breath on her face, it smelt fruity, but his icy tone confuted how good he smelt.

She froze when he lifted a finger to her face and ran it along her cheek. Raziya muffled a displeased grunt, tho she couldn't turn away.

"... I think I have a better plan", he continued his last statement. "It'd be so beautiful watching you bow to me, watching you become my most humble servant".

Raziya scoffed and looked him in the face.

"What are you talking about?" Her words came as a mutter.

"I'll enjoy breaking and turning you into my most humble dog. Surely, it will be fun having a Princess kiss my feet".

"Get away...", she couldn't complete her words as she stepped away from him, moving backward.

Prince Archie had regained consciousness and was struggling to get on his feet.

"Alpha Jagger", the King cut in. "Why don't we set aside and settle this amicably? I'm ready to give in to your terms. Whatever you may need - just state it".

"What I need right now, King Zachary is having your daughter as my personal servant. She'd warm my bed and that of my minions, till the soil and serve in my kitchen until she forgets she was born of a King", Jagger's odious words sent shudders to Raziya's system, especially with how strangely he stared at her. Raziya's never had anyone stare at her that way, but she could tell it didn't mean good.

She glanced at her mother as if looking for some defense but didn't get any.

"Jerri! Kane!"Jagger called and his beta and one other came scurrying before him.

"Yes, Alpha..."

"Get the Princess and take her to the carriage".

"No!" Raziya yelled, taking retreating steps. "You have no right to just badge in here and take me away like some price! I admit to killing your gamma; I know it was wrong. But it was an accident! You can't just take me away from here", her voice wavered as she quaked. The fear she felt, she had never imagined before.

Quickly, she turned to her father.

"Please, father! You have to do something. You can't just stand there and watch them take me away! I know what I did was wrong, but we should have other ways to punish me - not stripping me of my honor".

The King was tight-lipped and taciturn and couldn't even afford to look at his daughter. It was unimaginable that the Almighty King Zachary could ever be so helpless.

Seeing her father was not responding, Raziya turned to the Queen.

"Please, Mother! You .. you have to do something. I don't want to leave with them. I can't survive being around those beasts. I am nothing like them, mother! Please!"

"Oh, Raziya!" The Queen burst into tears and Raziya turned to her sister next.

"Rana", she whimpered. "Please do something. I know I've not been a good girl. I know I've been stubborn, and arrogant, but I promise from now on, I'll change! I swear with my life - I'll give you the love and respect you deserve. I...I promise to stay away from Prince Abrak if you desire. Just do something, please! I'll be a changed person!"

Tears streaked Rana's cheeks as she found her domineering sister pleading for the first time. It was heart-wrenching.

"I don't have time for this, Jerri. Get her away", Jagger mind-linked to his beta who in response, swaggered towards Raziya and attempted pulling her away.

"No!!" Queen Heba cried out as she stood in the way. "I won't let you take her away from me. If you can't settle this amicably, then you'll have to get through me. GUARDS!"

More guards trooped into the hall instantly and surrounded the table with their weapons. Even from their faces, it was obvious they were diffident but had no option since they couldn't defile orders.

Jagger took his eyes around them and chuckled. He took the last apple from the table and nibbled at it.

"I really had no intentions of getting through you, Queen Heba; but...as you wish", he stated sardonically, and snapping his fingers, the Queen found herself losing consciousness.

"Mother!" Raziya shrieked but was too late to hold the Queen who had already dropped to the floor, looking lifeless.

"Jagger!!!" The King roared in anger and signaled the guards who attempted an attack. But it was futile as the guards found themselves being swept off their feet and falling back fatally. The force was so strong, that many of them landed on walls and crashed into tables.

Raziya was nearly frozen to death.

"Do not waste my time, Jerri", Jagger mind-linked again. And without further hesitation, the beta hurried to Raziya and began pulling her away.

The princess kicked and struggled to go free, but it was thwarted as the beta seemed strangely strong and continued pulling her away.

"Raziya!" Prince Archie grunted and tried going after them, but an invisible wind pushed him off, and he crashed badly to the ground. The King hurried to make sure he was fine, while Rana ran to their mother. Mona hid behind a table, not wanting to get affected by the whole plight. And as Raziya yelled on her way out, Jagger followed them while chewing sedately at his apple.
