Family Reunion

Raziya's face lit up as she was told that her presence was needed in Jagger's meeting room. Her body was heating up already by just a mere thought of Jagger.

She knew her family were already there to meet her. She was eager to see Jagger but she was most eager to see her family.

"Let's go Sara" Raziya pulled Sara up as she was leaving her room. She was nervous about the meeting. she was going to be in a room with her parents who still believes Jagger was her oppressor oblivious to them that things had changed a little between them.

As she entered the room, she noticed everyone was silent awaiting her arrival. she glanced around the room. Jagger looked up immediately after she had entered the room because her strong scent filled up his nostrils, Raziya begged him to say nothing, and he agreed as he nodded with a smirk.

King Zachary was in his full Royal regalia he was deep in thoughts, clasping his hands together and uniting them with his face. Queen Heba was leaning close to her husband, her face a little bit gloomy while Princess Rana was standing by the window looking outside, Prince Archie was seating alone, he looked frightened and he kept stealing glances at Jagger and darted his eyes quickly if Jagger made a body movement. Raziya snickered loudly at the sight before her. Everybody turned in the direction of the sound they heard.

Queen heba's face lit up as she saw Raziya.
"My baby" she squealed overwhelmingly as she ran and engulfed Raziya in a tight embrace. "Mother," Raziya called in muffled tones hugging her mother back.

"I've missed you, my baby. I have always longed to see you, to know how you are doing and if you were happy all the time" Queen Heba cried as she explained.

Raziya pulled out of the hug grinning, tears obscured her vision as she look at her mother. "Mother I've missed you too and I am fine" Raziya sniffed.

Queen heba moved aside for others to meet her but her eyes were still locked on her daughter, Raziya.

"Father" Raziya grinned as she hugged him also. "It's good to see you my baby" King Zachary hugged her. He almost moved to tears as he pulled out to take a good view of his daughter who was certainly standing in front of him.

"My little sister" Archie beamed. Raziya ruffled his hair smirking. "Not again you haven't changed at all" Prince Archie whined glaring at Raziya playfully.

"I can never stop ruffling your hair don't think I would change" Raziya laughed

"What happened to your hair?" Rana probed as she came to meet Raziya noticing the colour change, something the rest of the family failed to notice because they were overwhelmed by her presence. Everyone turned their gaze to Raziya's hair.

"What did you do to your beautiful hair? Why is it black?" Queen heba shrieked?

Raziya hated the fact that she had to explain what happened to her hair again but this time she had to lie because she didn't want to ruin the happy mood by telling her family that Jagger used his powers against her will to change her hair colour. Sara had gasped when she noticed it in the morning. She said the Alpha didn't have the good taste to think Raziya's Red hair didn't compliment her beauty.

"A hair care shampoo I used on my hair changed the colour" Raziya lied as she threw Jagger a glare for making her lie.

Jagger smirked as the lie left Raziya's lips perfectly, he had to add liar to the list of attributes he accorded Raziya.

He watched sadly as Raziya was surrounded by her overwhelmed family. The love they had for her was so obvious for anyone to see. He felt bitter and lonely watching them because he didn't have a family of his own. The closest person he had as a family was his Beta Jerri. His concubines didn't feel like family to him. They were just there to warm his bed and add to his status as Alpha king. None was qualified to start a family with him. None was fit to be his Luna. They didn't appear to be courageous. One woman who was courageous and had caught his fancy was in the room with him with her family smiling around her. He wanted a family with her. She was his peace even when the demons in him threatened to torment him.

Jagger picked an apple and cleared his throat "King Zachary why don't you and your family rest. You all must be tired after the long journey"

"Jerri please show them to their chambers" Jagger ordered as he took a bite of his Apple without giving King Zachary room to say anything.

King Zachary nodded "Can my daughter Raziya come to the chambers prepared for us" King Zachary questioned calmly not sure of the answers he will get but he hoped it would be positive.

"Yes of course, but you have to rest. She will visit later" Jagger smirked. He watched King Zachary keenly as he gnawed on his apple.

"Jerri lead them away" Jagger instructed as he turned to his Beta.

Queen Heba reluctantly left Raziya's hands like a girl that was snatched away from candy. King Zachary held his wife that was almost crying leading her away as he followed Jerri with Prince Archie and Princess Rana behind them.

As her family left the room, Raziya sat down smiling nervously as she was alone with Jagger. The thoughts of staying alone with Jagger were sending crazy ideas to her.

"You should be thankful and kiss my feet for bringing your family over, not everyone gets that opportunity here" Jagger mused staring at Raziya as he dropped the remains of his apple that wasn't edible.

"Well, I'm your esteemed guest so you should host and treat me well" Raziya smirked. She looked over at Jagger's face he was smirking and staring into her eyes. She quickly darted her eyes as obscene images appeared.

"What can I say, I have a reputation as a wicked and brutal Alpha so whenever I do good for someone it should be recorded in history." Jagger retorted his gaze not leaving her face.

Raziya rolled her eyes at his statement that sounded like he was bragging and not just talking about his personality.

"Then I must advise you to keep doing good so that you get to be recorded in history more and more. Haven't your advisers brought that to your notice? Raziya implored feigning concern.

"What can I say my advisers are probably scared to bring it to my notice, you can become my adviser maybe. We would be a great force to reckon with if you join me" Jagger proposed hinting at his intentions towards Raziya figuratively, oblivious to her.

Raziya played with her fingernails looking at her manicured nails before glancing up at Jagger "I'm very expensive to win over but all my advice comes in handy so I will think about your proposal"

Jagger watched the beautiful woman in front of him. He laughed at her answer. She was beginning to show him her smart features.

"If you will excuse me from your gracious presence, Alpha Jagger, I'll have to be somewhere" Raziya stood up to leave waiting for his permission.

"Move along Princess and do what you need to do so far as it is for the betterment of my Pack."

Raziya bowed subtly and trudged to the door.


Raziya spotted Dini on her way back to her room. Raziya bowed a little as she came face to face with Dini. A smile was plastered on her face.

"I see you have now gotten the Alpha's favour, You are no longer serving as a maid, You have a chamber all to yourself and a personal maid to add to your collection. " Dini remarked calmly her smile plastered on her face like a tattoo.

"It's good to see you my friend" Raziya retorted ignoring Dini's statement and trying to walk away.

"I hope you are not trying to seduce him to warm his bed because that would make me your rival" Dini's word halted Raziya who turned to look at her.

"I have no intention of becoming your rival" Raziya riposted peering into Dini's eye.

Dini moved closer to Raziya "I don't forgive traitors easily" she hectored.

Raziya chuckled "it depends on what a traitor means to you because I am certain that I am not a traitor to you" Raziya was confident she didn't care how Dini seemed to threaten her. She knew she was not going to back down she was her father's daughter and her father is a fearless and intimidating king. She was not going to allow the Alpha's beautiful concubine to intimidate her.

Dini darkened her eyes in anger, the princess was proving to be a hard nut to crack. She was rebuffing everything she had told her. She needed to prove to the Princess that she was a fearless wolf in the whole pack and even the Nailah she feared also feared her.

"Watch your back princess" Dini warned smirking.

Raziya scoffed "Thanks but no thanks for that timely advice. The Alpha is already making sure of that. I'm his esteemed guest after all"

Raziya officious talk made Dini furious as she glared at Raziya.

"I would love to chat more but there are things that need my attention" Raziya giggled and finally walked away.
