Chapter 32
"Will you wait for me?" he asked as he kissed across my jaw line to my neck.
"Umm?" I asked, trying to catch my breath as he kissed me lightly between my breasts.
"When we're on separate tours," he persisted as he stopped to look into my eyes. "Will you wait for me?"
I nodded and looked into his eyes as I laced my fingers through his hair. "Yes. Of course. Will you wait for me?"
He smiled. "I already have. I've been waiting for you my whole life."
I kissed him lightly on his perfect lips, and then he rolled over on top of me. "I know we haven't known each other long, but I don't want to ever be away from you."
I smiled as I tenderly kissed his lips, and then his cheeks. "What are you saying?"
He stopped to look into my eyes. "I want to marry you," he said, then added in a rush, "I'm not talking about getting married tomorrow, but I want to marry you in the future, when we're both ready "
"Yes," I said, and then pressed my lips to his.
But he pulled back abruptly to look into my eyes. "Yes? Was your answer ?"
"Yes." I gave him a light kiss on his nose. "Yes. I'll marry you. But let's wait until after the tours." A smile like no other I had seen before erupted across his face as he kissed me and rolled me over on my back, and I parted my legs for him to lie between them. "Are you sure you don't want to wait?" I asked, searching his eyes. "You might meet someone "
His lips pressed onto mine again, sending me into silence, as his lips moved with mine. Finally, he pulled back, letting me catch my breath, and kissed me lightly all over my face.
I laughed. "Okay, okay!" I said between kisses.
He gave me one last sweet kiss as he looked into my eyes. "I've never met anyone like you, Allie, and I never will." He gave me another quick peck as he reached for my hand. "I want to put a ring on this hand while I still can before someone else beats me to it. If I had a ring now, I would." With my hand in his, he kissed my ring finger as I laughed. Then, he smiled as he looked into my eyes and smoothed my hair away from my face. "Just remember me when you're out on tour and all those guys are falling over you, flirting with you "
I rolled my eyes. "Yeah right." Then I rolled him over onto his back, lay across him, and planted light kisses all over his face. "What about you? Will you remember me when those girls are shouting your name and throwing their bras onto the stage?"
He stopped kissing me for a moment as one corner of his lips curled into a smile. "Bras? Now that might be interesting!"
I smacked him lightly on the chest as he laughed. Sunlight was starting to peak through the window, lightening the room slightly. "Hey. I have an idea," I whispered.
"Why are you whispering?"
I shrugged. "I don't know. It just feels quiet."
He laughed. "Okay," he whispered, too. "So, what's your idea?"
I gave him a light kiss, suddenly wide awake. "Let's go outside and watch the sunrise."
"Right now?"
I nodded. "Right now."
"Okay. Let's do it," he said, "I'll be right back." A moment later, he darted naked out into the hallway and headed toward the bathroom as he closed the door behind him.
"Fuck!" I heard Mason say down the hallway. "I don't want to see that shit!"
I got up and slipped into my jeans and Logan's band T-shirt, laughing when Logan came back into the room.
"Wait a minute." Logan slipped into his jeans and quickly pulled on a clean T-shirt from his closet. "Mason's in the bathroom. He caught me when I came out."
I laughed. "Yeah. I heard."
He reached out for my hand. "Do you still want to go?"
I smiled. "Yeah. Let's do it."
He kissed me lightly on the lips. "No. We'll 'do it' again later."
I laughed as I shook my head. "Only you," I said, laughing. "Let's go."
I took his hand and we walked outside as red, pink, and orange streaked across the early morning sky.
"Come on," he said as he reached for my hand. I took it, and we ran barefoot across the freshly mowed grass, still wet from the dew that had just kissed the earth. We rounded a corner, and there was a playground.
Logan walked over to the swing set and held one out for me. I sat down, then he sat down in the other, and together we watched the sunrise.
Neither of us said anything as the sun slowly rose in the sky, pushing the darkness aside, bringing light to the world
"I love you," he said, leaning against the chain of his swing.
"I love you, too." As I looked at the sunrise and then back into his beautiful eyes, I knew that I would never forget this moment for as long as I lived.
After the sun rose, he took my hand and led me back inside his apartment. Everyone was still sleeping as we snuck down the hallway and back into his room. Logan turned and locked the door.
He reached over and slid the T-shirt from my body, and then my jeans. I reached over and pulled off his T-shirt as he slipped his jeans down to the floor. Then, his lips descended upon mine as he pushed me back onto the bed. I slid onto the pillows as my breath quickened. He silently slid a condom off the nightstand, tore it open, and rolled it down over his ready cock.
He slid under the covers and lay between my legs. My heart pounded within my chest as he pushed into me, looking into my eyes as he truly made love to me. And I responded, lifting my hips to meet each of his thrusts. His beautiful eyes were filled with so much love as he gasped and his cock swelled, sending me over the edge. As we came together, he covered my screams with his lips, moaning into my mouth. Later, as I drifted off to sleep in Logan's arms, spent, I knew that my life had just changed forever.
