Chapter 39
I smiled as I pushed a strand of his hair back away from his face. "I won't." Then, I pressed my lips to his in a kiss that told him how I felt. "I want to make love to you again."
This time, his face was serious. "Okay," he said, and then pressed his lips to mine, as white hot flames of passion ran throughout my body.
I pulled back and looked into his eyes. "I love you, Logan."
His eyes were filled with unbridled honesty and passion, reflecting my own. He rolled another condom down over his erection and pushed into me a moment later. Then, he brushed back the hair from my face and looked into my eyes. "I love you, too, Allie. I always will."
I looked into his eyes, filled with so much honesty that I knew it was true. My body responded, answering every unspoken question that his asked, as I showed him the depth of my love for him over and again.
A few minutes later, his cock swelled farther, sending me over the edge. We climaxed together, riding the white hot flames of passion well into the early morning.
Afterward, I lay in his arms, spent. I was about ready to drift off when Logan gently shook my shoulder. "Allie, honey. Let's go to bed."
I was instantly awake, nodding as I let him pull me to my feet. Then, he scooped me into his arms as I wrapped my arms around his neck. "The candles "
"I'll take care of it. Don't worry," he said as he carried me down the hallway to my bedroom. He set me on my feet, and pulled back the purple comforter and white sheets. "Here. Lay down and I'll be right back."
Obeying, I curled up under the comforter. I tried to stay awake, but could hardly keep my eyes open. A few minutes later, Logan slid into the bed behind me, slid his arms around me, and pulled me to him. I snuggled to his chest. Then, he pushed my hair aside and nuzzled my neck.
"Night, my Allie. I love you."
I wasn't sure if I was dreaming or not, but if I was, it was the best dream I ever had. "I love you, too," I replied, and then drifted off to sleep, as dreams of Logan filled my mind.

Bright rays of golden sunshine filled the room, chasing away the flickering shadows of the night. Feeling a bit stiff, I stretched, and then realized that Logan was still sleeping. A warm feeling came over me as I took him in, snoring lightly as he stretched across my bed, the sheet just covering his waist.
Smiling, I slipped from the bed and into a robe, then padded down the hallway to the kitchen. Soon, I had brewed coffee and was flipping bacon in a skillet on the stove.
Strong arms suddenly wrapped around my waist and Logan whispered in my ear. "Morning."
"Morning, sleepy head," I said, smiling as I turned a slice of bacon over in the pan.
Logan chuckled. "Oh. You think?"
"I don't 'think', I know." Then, I scooped out the rest of the bacon onto the yellow plates that I had bought the day before.
"Oh. You do, do you?" Logan asked as he took a slice of bacon from the plate and popped it into his mouth.
"Hey, now!" I said, laughing as I set it on the table. "Want some coffee?"
He smiled as he headed toward the coffee pot. "I'll get it," he said as he pulled a coffee cup down from the cabinet and filled it to the brim. Then, he leaned against the counter as he took a sip. "What can I do to help?"
"Just sit down and look beautiful," I said, smiling as I set two plates onto the table along with the silverware.
He waited until I was seated before sitting down at the table in the seat across from me. "Wow! You outdid yourself, Allie," he said, smiling as he took another sip of his coffee. "What time did you get up?"
I shrugged as I began loading my plate. "Not long ago."
"So, what are your plans for the day?" he asked as if we had this morning routine for years. It felt strange to be there, alone with Logan, but, then again, completely right.
"I'm meeting my band members today," I said, nibbling on my bacon. "It should be interesting."
Logan shook his head. "It should be us," he mumbled under his breath.
"Hey! Hey, now," I said, taking his chin in my hand, forcing him to look into my eyes. "Let's have none of that. You made the right decision for you and your band." I shrugged as I released my hold on him. "Anyway, don't worry. It'll all work out."
He forced a smile, looking into my eyes with admiration. "You're right. Let's just enjoy this fine meal." He took a huge bite of bacon. "I haven't had this in a while."
I laughed as I watched him dig in, and then turned my attention to my plate. "So, what are you doing today?"
He shrugged. "We're cutting our first album in the studio."
"Really?" I said, my bacon forgotten. "That's great!"
He smiled as he shoved a forkful of scrambled eggs into his mouth. "Well, thanks to you, we already have a good start on it. We're going to use a few of the tracks from the other day."
"Hey. If you need a female backup singer "
He laughed. "I'll keep that I mind, but I think you're going to have enough on your plate before you go on tour. But who knows? Maybe we can play at some of the same clubs before we have to go our separate ways."
I shook my head. "Let's not talk about that now," I said, giving his hand a gentle squeeze. "Let's just enjoy every moment we have together."
He nodded, understanding. "You're right." Then, he looked over at the clock. "Man! I have to get out of here. We're meeting at noon."
I gave a mock tsk, tsk with my tongue, noticing it was ten-thirty already. "And here I thought you might join me in the shower."
He laughed as he rose from his chair and gave me a light peck on the cheek. "If I do that, I'll never leave."
I reached up and wrapped my arms around his neck. "I was hoping you'd say that."
He slowly helped me up from my seat and undid the front of my robe, revealing my naked body beneath, and then slipped his arms around my waist under my robe. "Don't tempt me." Then, his lips met mine as he pulled my naked body to his chest.
