Episode 51.

"I recently discovered that someone has been feeding my prisoner without my permission or approval, sneaking around," Dean mentioned. Elena's heart raced at those words, sending a shiver down her spine.

"That... that's unacceptable! Who could be doing that?" Elena said, trying to pretend she had no idea what he was talking about.

Dean turned towards her, shaking his head. "I don't know," he said.

"Whoever is doing that needs to be punished!" Elena said, emphasizing her point, leaving Dean with a smirk.

"Of course, if the person who did it tries it again, I will offer their head to the Moon Goddess," Dean declared before relaxing on the bed, gazing at the ceiling, waiting to drift off to sleep. Elena remained silent, simply watching him.

She realized that Dean had started playing games, putting her at risk because of his confidence in identifying the culprit.

"I have forgiven the person who did it hoping it won't repeat itself again," Dean added, meeting Elena's gaze once more, seeing the fear etched in her body.

Omega's Headquarters.

Elisa and the other female omegas were fast asleep, except for Minerva, whose mind was buzzing with a plan she had yet to execute.

When Minerva saw that everyone was still asleep, she cautiously rose from the bed and picked up her pre-arranged bag.

Quietly, she made her way to the door, opening it slowly to avoid any noise. Just as her hand touched the door, Elisa stirred, almost waking up, but then dozed off again, allowing Minerva to breathe a sigh of relief.

With the door fully open, Minerva closed it gently behind her. She hurried to the exit door, relieved to find it unlocked, thanks to her prior efforts. As she stepped outside and shut the door, a wave of relief washed over her.

Now, she needed to choose a direction and navigate her way out. She began running into the woods but was stopped in her tracks by a voice.

"Hold on!" The voice called out, causing Minerva to freeze, her heart pounding in her chest as she tried to catch her breath.

She stopped in her tracks, slowly turning around only to find Jared standing there.

Jared stood a short distance away, motioning for her to stop as he approached with his hands behind his back.

"Where do you think you're going? How many times must I remind you that leaving the pack is not an option!" Jared's voice, though unconcerned, carried a firmness that could rouse the entire pack from slumber.

Minerva clasped her hands together, tears streaming down her cheeks. "Please lower your voice. I don't want the Alpha to find out," she implored, her eyes glistening with tears.

Jared felt a pang of pity for her and swallowed hard, but his curiosity about Minerva's sudden desire to flee outweighed his sympathy. The Alpha had entrusted him with keeping an eye on her, indicating something must have triggered her decision to run.

"I don't understand, Minerva. You're tired of being an omega after just a few days here. Some of us omegas, like me, have spent our entire lives in this pack. Why are you so eager to leave?" Jared inquired, while Minerva remained silent, her gaze fixed on him. It seemed she harbored a secret she was unwilling to share.

"Minerva, there have been others like you who tried to escape. They met their fate at the hands of the Alpha. I don't want that same fate to befall you. Please, grab your bag and return indoors," Jared instructed, his voice softening as he saw Minerva on her knees, tears flowing freely, pleading earnestly.

"Please don't make me go back inside. This is my only chance to escape this place. Just let me go, please," Minerva pleaded, tears cascading down her face.

Looking at Minerva and her serious expression, Jared realized that this was no ordinary situation; there was something much more serious at play.

"No way, Minerva. You know what will happen to me if the alpha finds out I let you go, and if I do let you go," he said nervously, swallowing hard as Minerva watched him closely.

"Alright... can you promise me that if I tell you what's going on, you will let me go?" she asked, but Jared shook his head, indicating he couldn't make that promise.

"You know I can't promise that. It's what you tell me that will determine if I can consider letting you go or not," Jared replied, intrigued. Minerva took a deep breath and began her story.

"That night, Elisa and I were working late. Everyone else was already asleep when Elisa told me the Alpha was looking for me," she started, with Jared now leaning in, his interest piqued.

"When I entered the Alpha's room, he was on the bed and... naked. I... I never wanted to, but he forced me onto his bed," she confessed, her voice trembling. Jared's eyes widened in shock.

The revelation of such a disturbing secret within the pack left Jared stunned. As Minerva continued her story, Jared remained captivated, eager to hear the full truth.

"You mean the alpha forced himself on you?" Jared asked, his voice laced with concern. "And you're planning to run away because you fear he'll do it again?" He paused, his eyes filled with empathy. "Have you told anyone else about this?" He asked gently, as tears continued to stream down her face.

"No, he said, I wasn't going to tell anyone, or else he'll have my head," she said. Jared took a deep breath, contemplating whether to let her go or insist that she must stay.

After some thought, Jared believed that as long as the Alpha was only having sex with her and nothing more, there was no need to let her go.

"Well, Minerva, he is the Alpha and has the right to do as he pleases. If you go out there, you might even end up in a pack with a worse Alpha. It's..." Jared was saying when Minerva interrupted.

"We both know that Dean is the most ruthless Alpha compared to the others," Minerva said. Jared sighed, swallowing nervously.

"Exactly why I still can't let you go! You know I'll be in trouble if he finds out you're gone," Jared stated.

"Jared, please, you could find something to tell him. Maybe you can say you were asleep all night," Minerva suggested, leaving Jared with a smirk as he shook his head.

Minerva should have known better by now that that shouldn't even be an excuse. As a scout wolf, how could he be sleeping when it's his duty to look after the pack?

"A scout wolf sleeping all night? How does that sound to you?" He asked. Minerva, frustrated and tired, swallowed nervously, unsure of how to respond, as Jared approached and gently took her hand.

"Jared, please, that wasn't even all! You can't take me back inside, please," she pleaded, but he paid no mind and continued dragging her inside.

"Jared, I'm pregnant with the alpha's baby!" she revealed, causing him to pause and look at her in shock. She was pregnant with the alpha's child, while her sister was the Alpha's Luna. How could this have happened?

"You can't be serious," he said, his expression one of surprise, and Minerva nodded in response.

"Of course I'm serious! You and I both know that the Alpha never intended to make me his Luna. The tenth full moon celebration is approaching. If you don't let me go, I will die here," she stated, her words hitting Jared deeply as he gazed at her in shock.

Her words rang true. It had never occurred to him that the alpha never celebrated the tenth moon without a sacrifice, and it had to be a pregnant female wolf.

"Alright then, grab your bag and go!" Jared agreed immediately, and a sigh of relief washed over her as she hastily picked up her bag.

"Thank you!" she said gratefully before running off, while Jared scanned their surroundings to ensure no one was watching.
