Episode 62.
"Are you okay?" he asked, sensing her distress. She feigned a smile. "Of course, I'm fine."
As she gazed at the floor, twirling her hair nervously, Gwen folded her hands, avoiding eye contact with Raymond who couldn't help but notice her unease.
Her nervousness was palpable, leaving Raymond puzzled by her behavior.
"Are you sure everything is okay?" he inquired gently, shifting his gaze from his food to Gwen, who finally raised her head and smiled at him.
"I'm fine, just a little nervous. Olivia introduced you as her manager earlier, and now you're telling me you're a lawyer," she explained, as Raymond took a deep breath, realizing his mistake.
He had forgotten Olivia's warning before bringing him to the house, and now he couldn't continue the charade. He nodded in acceptance.
"No, I'm not her manager. It must have been a misunderstanding," Raymond clarified, noticing Gwen's nervous nod.
"A misunderstanding? You're probably right," she replied, forcing a smile before standing up and walking into the room, leaving Raymond to ponder his slip-up.
Taking a deep breath, Raymond returned his attention to his food, observing it intently. Moments later, Olivia emerged from the other side of the room, dressed in casual home attire, indicating she had finished bathing.
"Where's Gwen?" Olivia inquired as she entered, noticing Gwen's absence.
Raymond gestured towards the room she had entered. "She went that way," he said as Olivia observed him before proceeding inside to find Gwen.
Inside the room, Gwen stood by the window, lost in thought. Olivia paused in the doorway, watching her for a moment before stepping closer.
"I've told you before, overthinking won't help. It's draining your spirit," Olivia remarked. Gwen responded with a sly smile, still focused outside.
"I know you've said that, but I couldn't help but wonder if you truly understand my pain," Gwen expressed, avoiding eye contact with Olivia.
Olivia, perplexed by Gwen's words, had always shown care and concern. She couldn't fathom why Gwen was saying this now. Stepping closer, she gently asked, "What do you mean by that?" Gwen met her gaze, tears welling up in her eyes, leaving Olivia taken aback.
"You proceeded with the court case despite my warnings! You went ahead and then lied about it!" Gwen's voice broke, filled with anguish.
Olivia is all she has now, and this was the same way she pleaded with Carlos not to go on that adventure with Adam, but he refused, and now he's gone.
A similar situation is unfolding now. She had been advising Olivia to stay away, but Olivia wouldn't listen.
After hearing her talk, Olivia swallowed nervously, realizing she couldn't deny anymore. She tentatively reached out to touch Gwen, but Gwen pushed her hand away.
"It's going to be okay, it's..." Olivia was saying, only to be cut off by Gwen's frustrated voice.
"How can it be okay when you're already losing?!" Gwen yelled at her.
"It's just the first day, don't underestimate me!" Olivia replied loudly, to which Gwen responded even more forcefully.
"How can you be so sure you'll win the rest when you're struggling on day 1?" Gwen yelled. Olivia was left speechless, silently looking at Gwen, swallowing nervously.
Gwen then shrugged, looking away with tears streaming down her face. "I don't know if it's a curse or what! I always end up losing anyone I care about," she whispered.
"Gwen, you won't lose me, nothing is going to happen to me," Olivia assured her, her voice strong but tinged with sadness.

Alpha Dean's Pack.
Elena sat in her room, cradling her baby, while Dean stood by the window, watching her as she fed their child.
"You look worried, my Luna," Dean remarked as Elena glanced up at him, shrugging her shoulders as she discreetly covered her breast and adjusted her baby's clothing.
"Why shouldn't I be scared after hearing the news from Ryan and Jared?" Elena responded, her tone tinged with apprehension. Dean hummed softly before moving closer, settling beside her on the bed.
"Why be afraid of mere rumors?" he inquired, prompting Elena to gaze at him with a quizzical expression.
"Mere rumors?" she questioned, her curiosity evident, to which he nodded reassuringly.
"Yes, just rumors," he affirmed, indicating that he remained unconvinced by Ryan's account.
"And why would they fabricate such stories? Why do you dismiss them as mere rumors?" Elena pressed, her brow furrowed in concern, as Dean offered a fleeting smile.
"I believe that one day you will comprehend the challenges of being an alpha. There will always be adversaries, and if you readily believe every rumor, you may find yourself in jeopardy before one of your own challenges you for leadership," he cautioned, observing as Elena tenderly adjusted their baby's attire.
"Are you implying that Ryan aims to usurp your position?" Elena probed, prompting Dean to chuckle and shake his head.
"No, that's not what I suspect. I simply harbor doubts about them. Your sister deserves justice," Dean explained, before Elena interjected, her expression serious.
"No, don't talk about that. We have a serious issue at hand," she said firmly.
"Seriously? You don't want your sister to get justice now?" he asked, widening his eyes as he gazed into hers.
"You don't care for her the way I do! You just enjoy killing people. Yes, she will get justice, but we need to prepare ourselves for what's to come. Even if you don't believe it, at least be ready just in case," Elena advised, while Dean smiled and reclined on the bed, staring at the ceiling.
"I see you take those tales under the moonlight seriously. Remember, you're part of a strong pack, and even if what they say is true, you're protected. This pack has never been defeated by anything," he assured her, as Elena rose from the bed, looking at him with concern.
She tried hard to find a way to persuade him to consider letting Alpha Mula and Elisa go so they could join forces to defeat the approaching beast. However, she could tell he was indifferent.
"I'm just saying, be prepared. You heard Ryan's story; it's something to be feared," she added, as Dean smiled back at her.
"Don't worry, I've already informed you. However, that won't prevent Elisa from being executed in the morning," he said softly, recalling her once more. She met his gaze with a stern expression.
He understood that she wouldn't react well to the news, but he felt compelled to share it with her, noticing her breathing grow heavy.
He sensed that she urged him to prepare for war in order to save Elisa, but he had already made up his mind not to release her. He reminded her to prevent any misunderstandings, knowing his decision was final.

Next Morning.
The pyre had already been prepared. Dean's desire was to see her burnt at the stake. Inside her room, Elena watched with tears streaming down her face as they led Elisa away.
Elisa felt utterly helpless, tears flowing endlessly as they escorted her towards the pyre. She glanced up at the second story of the castle and noticed Elena crying too. Quickly, she averted her gaze as they bound her to the stake.
"It is a warning for all of you! Whenever you encounter something against your alpha, do not hesitate to approach him. Collaborating with others to oppose your alpha will lead to consequences like this!"
"Never think of defying your alpha," Dean declared, his voice commanding. "You belong to me, and I provide for you. I've given you food, clothing and protection, yet you chose to betray me? Then you'll share the same fate as her!" Dean's gaze swept the crowd before nodding to the one holding the fire, signaling them to ignite the pyre.
