Chapter Twenty-nine

Jack:

Mei’s comical announcement “It’s a Girl” over the speaker system had Max, Seth, and I beaming brightly as we headed down to the clinic, catching up with Eli and Lexi laughing as Riley and Milly hooked arms helping each other waddle with the rest of us. I knew we would have to eventually announce our little relationship, but Amelia passing out sent us into panic mode.

Xander barreled in like a tornado, then loud laughter shortly after. We all shot questioning looks at each other as Xander stepped out, laughing his ass off.

“She okay?” Seth asked running his hands through his hair nervously.

“Yes, she is fine, but you three plus Mei know how to drop some serious bombs.” Xander laughed as Amelia’s voice loudly echoed through the solid oak door.

We all stood close listening to the girls converse back and forth, then weird gasps, and moans could be heard as Desmond “poofed” behind us.

“What’s got you guys so silent?” Desmond asked wiggling his brows.

“We will explain later.” I said as I went back to listening, holding my hand up to “Hang on”.

“Did we interrupt?” Mei’s voice sounded from behind us as we all turned shocked.

“BUSTED.” Brutus and Goki howled in laughter.

“We are going shopping, and we need to come up with a plan to handle Jonah.” Mei spoke coldly as she was fixing to leave with the girls.

“Actually, about that. We think it is best that Jonah doesn’t find out.” Lexi said running his hand through his ebony locks, side glancing me with a perked brow.

“He already knows that the enchantment has been broken.” Mei laughed darkly. Brutus and Goki stirred angrily knowing that Fuckhead knew already.

“Well, that’s it. He knows that it was broken, and our dear Vance paid Xander a visit to order him to poison you with a silver-wolfsbane cocktail mixed with “Cocktail”.” I spoke coldly as Xander looked at Mei and then Amelia with pleading eyes.

“Hope you wore cups.” Brutus laughed darkly while Goki tucked his balls under him.

“XANDER LOUIS WHITETAIL!! You just happened to forget to tell me that one little piece of information?” Amelia shouted full-on raging as her body visibly shook.

She turned to Izzy nodding her head to “poof”.

“Oh, and by the way. NO SEX!!” She stated coldly with an evil hiss as Izzy “poofed” the girls away.

Leaving Xander standing in total shock, mouth fully agape as Seth snapped his fingers in front of his face.

“Dad. You with us?” Seth shouted as Xander just stared at Seth, then to Me and Max.

“Come on, I hear the top shelf whiskey calling us to the rec-room.” I said grabbing Xander by the shoulder as we walked quietly to the rec-room.

“Have you ever been denied Sex?” Xander asked with a weird hitch to his voice.

“No. and I pray I never hear those words.” We all laughed as Desmond “poofed” into the rec-room with Nikola and Micah setting them up in their bouncer chairs.

“She knew about the poison.” Xander stated dumb founded.

“Not that it was mixed with “Cocktail”. I replied patting his shoulder, watching as his eyes rolled in annoyance.

“Amelia is scary when she is pissed.” Elias chirped in as the Watchmen sauntered in laughing, smiling like big goofs.

We all started laughing at the Watchmen as their faces contorted looking at Xander fuming over the fact, he was literally placed in the “Doghouse”.

“No offense Sir.” Chris piped up as they set-up another round of pool, while the guys fired up some Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, while me and Xander warmed up some bottles for the boys.

“You know damn well the girls are buying every last girl item, wherever they decided to go shopping.” Eli laughed as him and Max matched off against Seth and Lexi.

My phone started vibrating loudly in my pocket as I pulled it out seeing Damian calling. Clicking it over to speaker as I grabbed Micah laughing at the ceiling.

“Damian, how are things in Ghost Wolf?” I asked as the guys smiled side glancing at me.

“I don’t know, why don’t you tell me. I just got a bank notification for a Ten-thousand-dollar charge at a place called the “Twinkling Star.” Damian sounded furious, laughing at the same time.

Shooting Lexi, a glance as his face did this scrunched up, contorted whatever you want to call it, expression as he dropped his head down laughing nervously.

“Sorry Damian. I will transfer the money back over to you.” Lexi replied as he rushed through the map killing the entire team as Eli and Max hissed at him for killing them.

“What exactly is the “Twinkling Star”? Damian asked as we all smiled thinking of the three precious little girls that would be gracing us.

“It’s Aunt Eve’s baby boutique in the Vampire Kingdom. The guys kind of managed to anger the girls, mostly Xander pissed off Amelia.” Desmond laughed from behind as Dominic fought hard not to lose his shit.

“OH, SHIT! Xander sorry man.” Damian laughed loudly.

“That is not the only reason why she was pissed, our fearless soon-to-be King and his lovely Luna, dropped the bombshell of Seth and Max now having a full-on out orgy.” Xander laughed uncontrollably as Brutus and Goki started howling crazily.

Seth and Max had large smiles as we all shared winks at one another, while Micah burped loudly.

“Who was that?” Damian stopped mid-laugh asking.

“Micah. Xander is feeding Nikola right now.” I replied as Micah gave a bright smile as I laid him down in his bouncer.

“We need to get together before the Coronation.” Damian stated as we all snapped our glances at one another.

All six of us face palming mentally realizing it was in two days. The Watchmen started laughing loudly as they continued their game of pool.

“Let me guess. You fucking forgot” Damian sounded like he was shaking his head, clicking his pen nervously.

“Can you blame us. For Fuck Sakes! Mei just got back to her normal human form the other day.” I replied as I watched Nikola smile as he released a loud, wet burp, spitting up milk down his stomach.

Brutus and Goki started gagging at the sight as Xander and I moved quickly, cleaning him up changing out his cloths, while Eli spoke to Damian.

“Jack there is a reason I am calling. Seems that our friend “Jonah” as someone following the girls.” Damian hissed as we all tensed up hearing that the “Fairy” has the balls to send someone to spy on our girls.

“Before you all go “Berserk” I have two of my elites following closely behind, giving me live updates as they go.” Damian scoffed as a loud clunk of a heavy door echoed in the background.

“I need to go. I will be seeing you in the next couple days.” Damian laughed sarcastically as he hung up.

“I hate to cut this short, but me and Dom need to head back to the Kingdom to finish with the run through of the “Invitees” for the Coronation.” Desmond laughed dryly as he air quoted the word “invitees”.

“Right see you shortly.” I replied as I fist bumped them both from the couch as they “Poofed” away.

Xander and I sat quietly watching the boys, giggle and laugh as little items floated from different spots around us, then set back down.

“That is quiet something.” Xander laughed as I watched in silent amazement at the fact my boys had telekinesis powers and could use them in their infant forms.

Loud explosions and gun fire erupted around the large vaulted ceilings as the twins paid no attention to it, laughing and carrying on in their own little language.

“Starting them early I see.” Mei laughed softly from the doorway as she leaned her sexy toned body against the doorframe. The Watchmen sharing laughs as they elbowed each other in a brotherly fashion.

“Fuck! She always that sexy?” Max linked as Seth smiled brightly as they peered over the couch back.

“Desmond and Dominic had some business to take care of, and we had some free time.” I laughed sarcastically smirking at her while Max and Seth looked like Giraffe’s staring at her.

“I am going to go soak for a little, my feet are killing me.” Mei laughed as she held up her cup of what smelled like Chi tea with heavy cream as she turned heading down the hall.

“She looked a little pale.” Max said as he looked at the boys, laughing as two small crystal wolf figurines floated from a shelf, landing gentle on the large coffee table.

Smiling at them as I felt a weird swirling in my stomach, lightheaded.

“JR.” Mei linked weakly as loud thumping echoed through the house with a hard crashing thud.

Not wasting anytime, jumping over the couch as the Watchmen scooped the twins up as Max, Seth, Eli, and Xander sprinted quickly on my heel, rounding the corner finding Mei laying on the hardwood flooring, her Chi tea splattered across as she held her hand up, then dropping it quickly.

“OH FUCK! MEI!” Me, Max, and Seth shouted as we slid to our knees scooping her limp body up from the floor.

Seth and I rushed Mei to Amelia in the clinic, scaring the shit out of her while she was holding up a little white and purple tule dress. Her eyes snapping to Mei limply draped in my arms as she pointed to the empty room to her right as her and RW grabbed a medical cart filled with everything needed for emergencies.

“What happened?” Amelia shouted as she took Mei’s pulse quickly, while RW hooked wires, and prepped for an IV as the heart monitor fired to life with rapid
irregular rhythms as Max rushed in fuming, veins bulging in his forehead as he handed a sample of brown liquid in a bag over to me.

“Smell that and tell me what you think?” Max growled deeply as I opened the bag, smelling Chi tea with cream, but something else.

Another deep whiff made me nauseous as my eyes flicked black.

“Amelia where did you get your drinks?” I asked breathing deeply fighting Brutus and Goki back, while Seth and Max paced erratically.

“The café next to the “Twinkling Star” why?” Amelia asked as I handed her the bag so she could smell it.

I could tell she was raging when her eyes slowly captured mine. Snapping her eyes quickly over to Mei.

“OUT!!” Amelia screamed as she spun quickly on her heel grabbing a large bag of IV drip.

Brutus and Goki refused to leave Mei’s side, but the look Amelia gave us had me stepping back slowly. I turned around seeing six large raging were-wolves ready to kill anything that came in their way.

“What was in her drink?” Xander asked deeply as his eyes captured mine with a swirling blackness.

“Exactly what Jonah wanted.” I hissed demonically as I felt Brutus shake violently as the guys grabbed me, pushing me up against the wall.

“Stay calm until Amelia fills us in.” Xander spoke calmly as he caught my glare, knowing damn well I was seething.

“Jack?” Desmond’s voice echoed in the clinic as Seth held his phone up, shaking to maintain his composure.

“Desmond, you have a traitor in your realm.” I spoke coldly as I felt my body fight against the rage.

“On it.” Desmond replied sharply as loud shouting erupted in the background. The line going dead.

We paced the clinic like caged animals for hours, waiting for Amelia to fill us in on Mei’s condition before we did anything. Riley and Milly took the twins back up to the nursery, while we waited as patiently as we could. The clicking of the door snapped our attention to Amelia who had red puffy eyes as she dropped to her knees, while Xander scooped her up.

“She lost the baby.” Amelia whispered cried as I felt my insides twist into knots as Max and Seth scooped me up before I collapsed to the ground.
