Chapter Thirty-two

Max:

Two months flew by in a blink of an eye. Eli and Riley took over as Alpha and Luna to Demon Wolf, because he is the second born. Lexi and Milly became Eli’s Beta, while since I am officially mated to Mei, it was natural for me to become the Royal Beta.

Rocko took the Gamma position temporarily, until RW turns eighteen, then he can rightfully take the Gamma position. We were torn about who would be the Royal Gamma, so we made a unison decision to make Jaxon and Braxton both Royal Gamma’s.

“Max!!” Jack linked breathless.

“Yeah.” I replied while I watched Nikola and Micah play with Celia, Eli and Riley’s little girl, and Astoria, Lexi, and Milly’s little girl.

“Mei’s water broke.” Jack replied as Mei shouted in the background.

“On my way.” I replied as I jumped up, waving to Willow as I darted out the door towards the clinic.

Apparently, Mei happened to be pregnant with a set of twins, besides the little girl. Amelia said they were smaller than the girl, so she thinks that the twins are from our wild orgy, before Seth’s passing. We all agreed that no matter what, it did not matter who the father, or fathers were because we are a family. Only Amelia knew the sex this time, we wanted to be surprised.

Loud growling erupted through the hallway as I slid to a stop outside the delivery room.

“What I miss?” I laughed darkly as Mei shot me a dangerous look.

“Oh, just my uterus being shredded to pieces.” Mei shouted as she blew out a hard puff of air.

“I swore I saw smoke!” Logan laughed darkly as I shook my head silently.

“I heard that Logan.” Mei shouted as Amelia positioned herself to receive the first twin.

“BOY!” Amelia shouted as she handed him over to Xander to clean him up, while RW checked his vitals.

“Healthy baby boy?” RW spoke as he looked between JR and me for a name.

“Akai.” Mei shouted as the next contraction turned her into a demonic fire breathing dragon.

“She named him after Seth’s wolf.” JR linked as his face grimaced as she pushed with the next contraction, squeezing his hands tightly breaking a few bones.
Amelia was a champ at this delivery shit.

Logan was pacing nervously as we held Akai in our arms with his dark brownish locks and by-colored eyes like mine. A prideful pang sung through my chest, knowing I was holding my son.

“GIRL!!” Amelia squealed as our eyes snapped to Xander grabbing the tiny little girl, cleaning her precious ivory skin.

“Azalea.” Mei huffed as she plopped back against the bed, sweat dripping from her brow as JR wiped it away with a cold cloth.

“Look at those red locks.” Xander laughed proudly as I stepped over looking at her.

She was a spitting image of Amelia with red hair, and bright jade eyes. My heart stopped for a few seconds realizing Seth remained with us in spirit, and now his beautiful daughter would grace this world with her beautiful smile.

“It’s Mini Red Riding Hood.” Xander laughed as Amelia blushed swatting at his arm with a deadly glare.

“Okay. Okay. But you do have to admit that a mini you is kind of cute.” Xander cooed as he scooped Amelia into his arms, planting a deep passionate kiss.

“AHEM!! Innocent eyes here.” I laughed mockingly as I covered Akai’s eyes playfully as Mei held her hands out to hand him over, while JR cooed at Azalea.

Mei was an amazing mother. After the whole Coronation nightmare, she spent most of her time with the twins out in the south garden, playing hide-n-seek with Theos, who is one smart little pup. Nikola and Micah laughing all the time as they got daily showers of puppy kisses, while JR and I handled the disaster of the smaller realms.

The were-cats were easy to deal with, all they wanted was a little more freedom to hunt in our outer territory, which JR had no problem with as long as they obeyed the rules, and did not start any fights with our border patrols. The Bears wanted better living habitats, seeing that the humans were encroaching on their dens. Jaxon and Braxton came through on that issue. They turned one of our mountain territories into a Bear hibernation community.

“Max, you good man?” JR asked with a raised eyebrow as I sat down, rubbing my face with my hands.

“It’s just I miss Seth. Even though I have you and Mei, and the pups. It sucks he isn’t here to enjoy these little ones.” I smiled choking back a hard lump in my throat as Mei waved for me to come to her.

Akai suckled hungrily as she cupped my face with her free hand.

“He may physically be gone, but he is still with us at this very moment.” She smiled as she looked at JR handing her Azalea, while handing me Akai to burp him.

“Well, I know one thing for sure. That little girl will not be able to date until she is at least thirty.” I laughed as Akai burped this weird bubble as he smiled in my arms.

“Says who?” Amelia chirped in as she checked on Akai, while Desmond and Izzy carried Nikola and Micah in laughing at Desmond, fighting Nikola to release his long black hair from his massive grip.

“Where’s Dominic?” Mei asked as Izzy scooped Azalea up, cooing at her stroking her beautiful red locks.

“He is actually visiting Atlas at the High coven.” Desmond smiled as he sat next to me, bouncing Nikola in his lap with a crossed leg.

I could see Mei flinch slightly at the mentioning of Atlas, but she found it in her heart to forgive her. She had a heart-to-heart, or might I say, a fist-to-fist with her, because she did not trust that Max could help again. After a few bloody rounds of bare-knuckle fighting, we all ended up getting inked. Mei got this beautiful Cherry Blossom tree with our wolves’ sitting under it howling at a full Blood moon on her ribs.

“She has another fifty years to serve under Morgan for her Fucked up stunt.” Izzy laughed dangerously as we all watched the twins fall asleep together as Mei yawned like a Grizzly bear ready for hibernation.

I nodded to JR as I stood, strolling the pups out into the common room nursery, so Mei could rest. I feel bad that JR lost his little girl, but he seems to be even happier now with the arrival of Akai and Azalea.

“Maybe stroking out a few while you are at it.” Xander laughed harder as he doubled over in pain from laughing so hard.

“Wise asses.” Logan growled as he licked himself to subdue the panging in his groin.

“I think they might be right.” JR huffed in link as I nodded back in agreement.

We have all heard the infamous saying, “The walk of shame.” But in this case, it was more like the “Walk of pain.” Loud guttural laughter echoed through the halls as we groaned and gritted with each painful step to our new wing of the house. Seeing that Eli and Riley were now the Alpha couple of Demon Wolf, JR and I felt that it was only right to give them the Fifth floor, while a whole new wing was built specifically for us.

“Was it this bad after the boys?” I asked as we pushed the heavy Mahogany doors open into our new room, sporting the massive custom double king bed with a few hidden secrets built into it for Mei’s requests.

“Yes, but that is when she really tapped into her sexual animalistic desires.” JR smiled giving me a big wink as we crawled into the duel shower.

Even though we were a joined couple with Mei, we still liked our sperate spaces to decompress ourselves. Feeling the cold-water strike violently against my muscles made my erection even worse.
