Chapter Thirty-five

Mei:

“It is breath taking.” Samuel chuckled lightly as he dialed a number on his phone pressing the speaker button…ring…ring…click loud chattering and shushing by a familiar voice echoed through the office.

“Mei Baby listen…” JR spoke before I cut him off.

“DON’T YOU DARE MEI BABY ME!!! Where’s Max?” I shouted then switched into a low demonic growl.

“Mei listen…” Max went to speak, but I was beyond pissed.

“You of all people should understand why I fight Max. So, you and JR just took it upon yourselves to sex coma me, so you could send me away.” I huffed as Samuel stood with a perked brow as I fumed.

“Sam, how pissed does she look?” Max asked in a deep husky tone.

“Does “Demonic” fall in that spectrum?” Samuel laughed lightly as he leaned against the large wooden bookshelf behind the large western, hard scraped desk.

“Shit!” Both hissed over the phone as they cleared their throats.

“Mei please understand this has nothing to do with the fact you can fight. It involves everyone at this moment in time because Alexi is rounding up every rogue known.” JR spoke calmly as I felt my stomach swirl listening to his voice shift with emotion.

“Yeah, don’t ever question me about your fighting spirit Mei. I know the fighter you are, but with the pups being born, it has weakened your body because it is working overtime to produce milk for the pups.” Max spoke softer as I felt my knees begin to shake.

Tears slowly trickled down my cheeks as Samuel swooped in to catch me, before I collapsed to the floor covered in a beautiful black and white cow hide rug.

Gripping for dear life against Samuel’s shoulder as I cried every ounce of anger I had, knowing my two boneheaded men could hear me sobbing.

“Shit!” They both hissed as a loud voice echoed in the background.

Warm arms scooped me from Samuel’s large frame as I sobbed every hatred fiber from my body, before I really hurt someone. The all too familiar scent of cedar, cinnamon, rain, and mint encased me as I realized JR and Max had me sandwiched between their bodies as I cried uncontrollably.

Desmond leaned against the doorframe as he smiled his half smirk as I pushed back from both. Shaking my finger violently as I began to pace back and forth, snarling as they smiled their smoldering sexy smiles.

“Not funny! First you seduce me into a coma, then as soon as I breakdown from the emotional stress of all of this, you FUCKING POOF!!” I screamed throwing my arms up exaggerating the poof as the guys laughed softly at my blow up.

“This is not permanent. We just know how stubborn you can get, and we do not want the pups or you in extra danger.” JR cooed as he slid up to me, wrapping his arms around my waist.

“That is why Derek and Becca suggested Samuel. He is a top-rated Bodyguard along with being a Grizzly.” Max huskily cooed as he wrapped his arms from around the back, sandwiching me again.

“The Watchmen are here also for added protection. Enjoy this beautiful forest.” They both suggested as they peppered my forehead and neck with kisses.

“I am still mad at you both, but I have pups who need fed.” I said softly as Moon and Kyou hummed at my next thought.

“Oh, and guys! NO SEX!!” I growled deeply as I walked away from them, smelling for my pups following the honeysuckle and Fresh rain scent down the stairs, into a large bullet-proofed protected nursery.

“MEI!!” Max and JR linked in a whinny voice.

“NOPE!” I replied shutting down the link as I smiled at my two handsome boys crawling slowly as two young girls with braided brown hair, rocked Akai, and Azalea.

“You must be Samuel’s daughters.” I spoke softly as I tickled Nikola and Micah as they rolled around the floor laughing.

“Yes Ma'am. I am Suzie and this Zoey.” Suzie spoke with a bright glint in her eye as she stood up to let me sit down in the rocker.

She handed me Akai, quickly latching to my breast as Zoey blushed away, while she rocked Azalea. I slowly rocked as Akai took his fill, handing him back to Suzie while Zoey handed me Azalea. Her beautiful red locks glistening in the morning rays, that peaked behind the rocker. Elias and Ben entered helping Suzie with Akai, then scooping up Nikola and Micah to feed them.

“So how was your phone call?” Elias laughed as he held Nikola sucking down a bottle.

“You four are lucky that you are following orders, or Izzy would be addressing some injuries.” I laughed darkly as they cleared their throats, while Suzie and Zoey laughed as they took Azalea to change her.

“Ma'am, if we can suggest something, why don’t you go for a run. No one bothers us, plus our ranch backs right against Yellowstone.” Zoey smiled as she bounced Azalea softly.

“Just call me Mei, or M.” I laughed as I stood up walking out the back-deck sliders, examining the beautiful crisp sky as it rolled freely across the mountain tops.

Moon and Kyou howled in delight at the majestic sight around us.

“I miss the bayou, but this would be a runner up for sure.” I laughed as I stretched my body out, cracking my limbs as I took two-running steps shifting into Kyou.

Prancing gently feeling the lush soft grass under my paws as I released a loud howl, before taking off into the dense forest. The wildlife coming to life as I pounded the ground, feeling the dirt push between my padded toes. Two loud howls caught my attention from behind as I pushed harder into the ground, weaving swiftly through the trees, back flipping over a large spruce tree that had fallen.

Quickly jumping down into the river embankment, masking my scent as I pushed harder against the cool pebbles of the riverbank as it brought me up to a large clearing overlooking the majestic Yellowstone forest. A normal person would think I was just a wolf roaming around, so I sat quietly examining the large waterfall cascading against the large natural granite stone.

“I knew I would find you here.” Lexi huffed deeply as he plopped down next to me in his wolf form.

“What are you doing here Lexi?” I asked excitedly as I laid next to him enjoying the magical view.

“I missed my pain-in-the-ass sister, and I wanted to check up on you?” Lexi huffed through his snout blowing a small dirt cloud.

“JR and Max sent you.” I replied rolling my eyes as I swatted at his face with my paw.

“Mei, they have been horrible to deal with. Their mood swings are worse than you girls during pregnancy.” Lexi laughed as his tail swished lazily across the mountain side.

Moon and Kyou laughed hysterically, imaging them all tussled and irritated at every little thing. Just thinking about them made me whimper loudly as Lexi nudged my snout as he stood.

“Come on.” Lexi laughed lightly as he stood to his four paws, shaking out his silvery fur.

A quick shove to his side as I took off into the dense forest, weaving gracefully through the trees. A deer caught my attention as it sauntered away as we raced past it. Just as the Ranch border came into view, a loud Bang ripped through the forest as the birds screeched away in fright as I felt a stinging sensation radiate through my right shoulder. Dropping to my side as Lexi slid to a stop, whimpering as he scanned the surroundings.

Loud shouting echoed eerily approaching us.

“GO!” I screamed at Lexi as he stood frozen solid.

“I am not leaving you.” Lexi shouted back as he circled nervously around my weakened body.

“Lexi, Go protect my family.” I shouted as I felt myself getting weaker by the second.

Lexi licking my snout as he took off towards the Ranch as I silently thought to myself.

“Well girls its been a blast.” I laughed weakly as Moon and Kyou snickered lowly.

Fucking silver-wolfbane packs a wallop.

A haunting laugh echoed through the trees as a figure emerged from the shadows.

I have seen him before, where?

“The Whore Queen.” He spoke darkly in a deep voice.

The same voice from my visions. Slowly slipping into the darkness as loud growling roars, filled the crisp sky as my eyes rolled lazily trying to focus.

“You are coming with me.” He said as he scooped me into his arms, over his broad shoulder as he drew a symbol on a nearby tree, a blue portal appearing as he quickly stepped in.

Slowly shifting back into my naked human form as I flopped limply on his shoulder as I watched in a hazy fog.

A massive Castle appeared tucked into the side of a beautiful mountain side, almost magical. Large iron gates clanked opened as we approached them, the guards saluting the man as he passed them with a sinister smirk.

“Take her to the dungeon.” He spoke brashly as he flipped my body over to a large muscular guard with bright blue eyes.

Blood dripping from my fingers, indicating my wound was slowly healing. The guard rubbing my thigh as he copped a feel, carrying me down a long spiral stone staircase. The pungent aroma of dead flesh, urine, vomit, and moldy water filled my nostrils, causing me to gag violently against the guard’s firm hold.

Loud metal clanging, shouting echoed against the darkly lit stone walls as I felt my body flop hard against the cool, damp stone floor. Then a loud bang as the solid iron door slammed shut.

“Fucking Marvelous!” I weakly whispered as I slipped unconscious.
