Chapter 15 - Try This Marriage

I walked into Tatiana's party and the music blasted through my ears. Tatiana squealed when she saw me and I opened my arms instantly. She hugged me and I chuckled.

"Happy birthday, T." I said and she pulled away. I gave her my present and she thanked me. She gave it to her assistant first. She led me inside and immediately gave me a welcome shot.

"Thalia is here along with Stephanie." She said as I took a shot. I nodded and she led me to my seat with Thalia and Stephanie.

"Hey girls." I said and Thalia gave me a hug right away along with Stephanie.

"Let's take more shots." Stephanie said and we all cheered.

"It's been awhile since we have drinks like this." Thalia said.

"Couldn't agree more."

"Not only that.. I miss being single." I chuckled when Stephanie said that. She loves her fiance, she just missed drinking like there's no tomorrow.

"Speaking of the devil, Candice Cleveland is here." Thalia hissed and I turned to see a beautiful blonde woman walking into the club. Tatiana greeted her.

"She's actually Sebastian's ex-fiancee, he loves her so much and maybe planned to get him back since she's divorcing her current husband." Thalia, the queen of gossip, said. Thalia always know what's going around in the elite groups.

"You should pray thay your rival can get back together with her, he will live in hell with that woman." I turned to Thalia completely confused.

"Why?"

"She's good at getting all the money, she's known for that." Stephanie chuckled.

"I think Sebastian is not that dumb." I said because I know he's not.

"That's what you think, he would do anything for that woman. He's so in love with her." Thalia said and I shrugged. I took another shot of tequila and got up to get more shots.

I went to the bar and Candice actually went there too. I ordered some shots and she ordered some too. She's talking to her friends as I waited for my drinks.

"So you're going to find Sebastian?" One of her friends asked.

"Of course, I'll just find him at his office tomorrow." Candice said and I grabbed my drinks right away to go back to my table. I don't really want to know what actually happened between them but now I know why Sebastian never wanted to publish our marriage.

I will be lying if I said that I don't mind keeping the marriage a secret. I told myself that I will only get married once and if I end up having a divorce which maybe I will, then I won't get married again.

Me, Thalia and Stephanie took lots of shots and Tatiana decided to join us with Bella, her sister. We all took lots of shots and not gonna lie, it felt so good. I even dance on the dance floor completely going wild.

I walked back to my table and drank some more. After feeling a little dizzy, I told Tatiana that I want to go home. She let me go and thanked me for coming. She even gave me a bouquet of tulips to bring home.

I called my chauffeur to drive me home to my house first instead going to Sebastian's. I went there first and found myself sitting on the sofa of my living room staring to the ceiling blankly.

I decided to call Valencia and felt sorry right away cause it's already midnight there. I was going to end the call when she picked up.

"Sorry, I didn't think twice. I must have wake you up." I said right away.

"Hey, it's fine. I actually can't go to sleep, I'm drinking my wine right now. Are you drunk?" She asked.

"Maybe, I just took a couple of shots. It's Tatiana's birthday."

"What happened? You don't sound.. enjoying the party." Of course she understands, she's my bestfriend.

"Candice Cleveland, she's actually Sebastian's ex-fiancee. She's here in LA and she's planning to get back with Sebastian and maybe I just found out the reason why he never wanted to publish that we're married." I said blurting it out all at once.

"Why did they break up?"

"I don't know." I sighed.

"You're his wife even though he doesn't want to publish the marriage. You'll always win against Candice anyway." Valencie tried to make me feel better.

"Do you think I should divorce him?"

"Are you crazy? You just got married."

"I know but.. I just.."

"You told me last time that you're going to try."

"Well.. I want to try but.. I just don't know where to start. I bet he heard about my reputation from other people which is not true at all."

"You don't need to explain things to him, you can prove it to him by just be yourself." Valencia said and I sighed.

"What exactly am I hoping in this marriage?"

"Love." Valencia said and I threw my body back to the sofa.

"This is ridiculous." I sighed.

"You should make an effort, Belle. Make the first move, seduce him.. or maybe just find what he likes and stuff".

"I'll think about it, I have to go home."

"Wait, you're not home?"

"No, I'm at my house right now." I said as I got up.

"Well I think you should go home, it's like almost midnight there." She said.

"Okay." I ended the call and found myself walking out from my house. I got into the car and asked my chauffeur to drive to Sebastian's house.

"I should try it.. I really should. At least, if I get a divorce, I won't regret it because I already try." I said to myself and I really need more alcohol.

"This is why.. I should not pick my childhood crush to be my husband. God damn it, Isabelle!" I hissed to myself as I leaned my head back.

I really should try extra when we're on our honeymoon. I don't think I have that much time to enjoy this marriage.
