Chapter 32 - Pick a Side
Sebastian Grey
We're currently eating lunch after we played on the beach. We're both so tired and planned to take a nap after this.
"I just wanna live here, this is heaven." She said as she drank her apple juice while looking at the beautiful view.
"I know.."
"Oh.. I've been wanting to ask you something." She said as she moved closer to me.
"What is it?"
"Who is exactly your woman of choice?" Her question made me smile and leaned my body back to the sofa.
"I know it's not me but.. I'm just curious." She added.
"To be honest, I don't know. I don't know exactly who I want because I was busy working and working." I said and she nodded.
"How about your type?" She asked and that made me wonder why is she asking all of this.
"My type?"
"Yes, your type." She nodded looking at me curiously.
"Well.. how about your type?" I asked.
"You." She said without hesitation and now she's putting me in a danger zone.
"I know I'm not your type, I'm not as hot as all of your ex-girlfriends. I know." She said and I chuckled.
"That's not how it works, babe. I never have a specific type because I never found someone that I'm comfortable with." I said and Isabelle pouted.
"Well.. uhmm.. I'm gonna guess it."
"Oh? You're going to guess it?" I tilted my head and she nodded making me chuckle.
"Sexy." She said.
"I mean.. I would be a liar if I say no."
"Blonde."
"No, I have no preference in hair color."
"Sexy lips." She looked at me suspiciously.
"Hmmm.. don't think that applies."
"Smart."
"That is a must."
"Nice."
"Of course."
"How about eyes?" She asked.
"Isabelle, why are you asking this? You're clearly my wife, you're asking like you're trying to find me another girlfriend." I said and with that she glared at me.
"What?" I asked and she looked at me coldly.
"You want a new girlfriend?"
"I said.. you're clearly my wife so why bother ask all of this?" I'm dying here.
"I want to seduce you." She said and I looked at her disbelief.
"Seduce me?" I asked whispering.
"Yes, I'm pretty sure you.. never seen my other side before." She smirked and that's when it hit me.
"So.. who exactly saw it before me?" I asked and she was taken back with it.
"I- I mean- uhmm"
"Well.. I guess a lot of men huh?"
"Okay, I'm out of this topic." She wanted to runaway. I stopped her before she can even get up.
"How many?" I looked straight into her eyes.
"None."
"None? You're lying." I said and she shook her head.
"I'm not, it's just some men saw another side of me because they.. kinda try to seduce me."
"What did you do then?"
"I was mad, I was surprised that I could stand up for myself sometimes but most of the time I can't." She sighed.
"You should stand up for yourself more, I think you're capable of it better then you know it." I said and she smiled.
"You need to stop giving me comfort like this, I'm too comfortable and will end up having attachment issues." She said as she pushed my hand away.
"Well you should stop being so adorable too, I'm too comfortable and will end up having attachment issues." I said and she rolled her eyes.
"Did you just roll your eyes on me?" I asked her and she looked away. Her phone rang and we both turned to see who's called. I sighed when I saw Elijah's name on the screen.
Isabelle was reaching for the phone, "Don't pick up." She turned to me and I shook my head.
"How about you pick it up?" She said pointing at her phone. I grabbed it and picked up the phone.
"Hello Isabelle."
"Hello Elijah." I answered.
"Good to know that you're the one who picked the phone up." His tone was not friendly at all.
"What do you want?"
"I think you should come back to LA, both of your companies are on fire." That made me put him on loudspeaker.
"Explain it more." I said and Isabelle was totally confuse.
"I don't know what both of your parents did to each other but I'm pretty sure that they want to kill each other so bad. Check the news if you both don't believe me." I grabbed my phone and gave it to her so she can check it.
"You both need to comeback here and settle it, or else it will be a blood bath." Elijah ended the call and I turned to Isabelle.
"We really need to go back to LA." Isabelle said as she scrolled my phone. She gave my phone back and I looked at all the articles on the news.
It happened again.
Our families have been fighting for decades and I don't even know why. It's been so weird that our grandfathers have a good relationship but our parents don't. Pops have no idea either why my parents hated the Orsino's so bad.
"Let's just take a flight back tonight, I'll ask Cole to have everything ready." I said and Isabelle nodded.
"This is not good, how are we going to handle this." She's confused.
"Let's just.. stand in the middle for now. We can't pick a side because we don't even know the problem." I said and she nodded.
"Let's pack our things." With that we both quickly packed our things. I called Cole to make sure the private jet is ready and we're going back to LA this evening. I feel bad for Isabelle because we're not able to see the sunset for the whole week.
"Babe, I think you should see this." I quickly ran towards Isabelle and she showed me her phone. There's an article about my company going to ruin hers.
"I'm not going to pick a side, I want to know the whole thing first."
