Chapter 33 - Her Side

Isabelle Orsino

We arrived at dawn in LAX and there's already 2 cars waiting for us. Lia and Cole were waiting for our arrivals and I can tell right away that it was not a light problem judging how Lia and Cole have dark under eyes.

"I'll call you." Sebastian said and I nodded. I got into the car and the drive drove straight to the office even though we arrived at 4 in the morning.

Sebastian reminded me not to pick a side for now because we don't know the whole story. We have to listen to both sides and try to find a way to settle all of this.

I have a lot of things in my mind and I can't even process a thing.

As soon as I arrived at the office, I went up to the meeting room where my parents and all the shareholders were having a meeting. They're currently debating for the next step to destroy The Greys.

I gestured my mom to come out and have a conversation with me because she has better temper than my dad when it comes to this.

"What exactly happened?" I asked as my mom closed my office door.

"How did you know? I made sure to tell Lia not to call you." She said sighing as she sat down on the sofa.

"Elijah called, I'm glad that he told me cause this is pretty much a big chaos." I said completely stressing out. I saw all the articles but I don't want to assume thing from it.

"What exactly happened?" I asked as I leaned my body to the shelf because I'm not in the mood to sit down.

"The Grey sent some people to work in our company and that people spilled a lot of things that should be a company secret."

"Zion sent it?" I asked.

"Who else? It's Zion and Marie, of course. We're still looking into this because Sebastian might be involve in this. There's a couple of documents that were signed by him." What?

"Mom, I don't think Sebastian has something to do with this. He doesn't have beef with me, it's always been the parents." I hissed and my mom clearly hated the fact that I defend my own husband in this.

"You will never know, why did he agree to marry you in the first place?" I face palmed mysef hearing it.

"And then? You need to tell me the full story." I said.

"We're still looking into who exactly the people that Zion sent and of course, your dad won't hesitate to reveal that Zion and Marie have been secretly making a deal with a mafia to back them up."

"What else?" I asked.

"Your prenup." My mom said in a cold tone and I sighed.

"I can't believe you wanted to give him 10 million dollars, we just checked your prenup agreement and I bet they're laughing at us right now." She was angry and I'm surprised she can keep it cool when I called her.

"I don't think we'll end up divorcing anytime soon, mom. We both have feelings for each other." I said and my mom laughed.

"You really believe that huh? Isabelle, he will file for a divorce sooner or later. He will side with his family no matter what. He's a Grey for fuck sake!" My mom bursted angrily.

"Hanna, that's enough." We both turned to see my grandfather already standing at the door. I didn't even notice that he opened the door.

"You should go back to the meeting room, I want to talk to Isabelle." Gramps said and my mom nodded. She walked out from my office and gramps walked in.

"Hey.. are you okay?" He asked as he opened his arms. I hugged him and sighed.

"I'm okay."

"How was the honeymoon?" He asked as he pulled away.

"It was fun."

"Never knew that Elijah will tell you about this but it's good to have you here." He smiled.

"What exactly happened? It's so sudden." I asked.

"Well.. I called Ben earlier and he said it's chaos too there. I just want to let you know that I hope this doesn't effect you and Sebastian. Both of your parents are quite crazy."

"Gramps, I just want to know the whole story. Mom only gave some pieces of information and that's it." I said completely frustrated.

"I know but before I explain it to you, do you really put 10 million dollars in the prenup? Because I didn't see that coming, especially from you." I looked up to the ceiling closing my eyes for a few seconds and then turned back to my grandfather.

"Did he force you to?" He added.

"No, he didn't force me. I have my reasons why I decided to put that into the prenup."

"You have to tell me because it's going to be helpful for me to back you up." He said and I nodded.

I talked to gramps for hours explaining about everything on my side about my relationship with Sebastian. Especially about the prenup and about all the things related to our agreement before marriage because I don't want us to have a misunderstanding in the future.

Gramps completely understood where I stand but in the future, it might fire me back because I'm willingly to give him 10 million dollars and he can file for a divorce because of it.

"Where's Isabelle?!" My dad bursted open my office door and he's not happy.

"Isaac, you and I need to talk." Gramps said and my dad nodded. Gramps walked out from the office calling my dad to follow him. Lia walked in with a glass of coffee and a banana cake.

"I want you to call Elijah for me." I said as I closed my eyes because I'm so tired.

"Okay, Ms.Orsino. Anything else?" She asked.

"Give me an advil, I need it so much."

"Very well." I heard Lia walk out from my office and my phone rang. I took it out from my pocket and it's Sebastian.

"Hello."

"Babe, I think we need to talk.. a long one."
