Chapter 29 - The Fight

Isabelle Orsino

I cried while calling Valencia and she's speechless listening to the whole story. She didn't even say a word because she knew that I'm at fault in this scenario.

I was being so extra.

Valencia even said that I was insane and not making any sense. She even told me that my words might hurt Sebastian, not only that but she knew that I was denying my feelings too much.

She knew that I'm starting to develop feelings for him. Not only admiration, not only a simple crush but slowly falling in love with the guy.

I was being so stupid.

After that conversation, Sebastian told me that he will get some fresh air. When I tried to call him, I found out that he left his phone on the night stand. I felt so guilty and sad for everything that I said.

I was being so dumb because I know I might not able to get a mutual feelings in return. I know I'm not his type, I know he likes someone better than me.

I just sat in the living room waiting for him with his phone on the table in front of me. I kept going back and forth in the living room. I'm worried about him because it's been 4 hours since he left.

I bit my thumb until it bled. I was worried and started to get paranoid about the situation. I sat down and started to go nuts thinking about him.

His phone rang and the called ID said not to pick up. I raised my eyebrows seeing it because I never thought Sebastian is the type to save someone's number like that.

I decided to pick it up and put the phone to my ear.

"Hello." I answered.

"Oh? Who is this?" The woman in the other side of the phone completely confused.

"Who are you? You're the one who called." I snapped because I'm not in the greatest mood.

"It's Lily, who is this?"

"Lily? Lily who?" I snapped again.

"Wait! This is not Sebastian's phone?"

"Yes, it is. Why?" I rolled my eyes, why do I still have the patience to answer them?

"What? This is confusing, I just met him and who are you?"

"His secretary." I hissed.

"Oh, I see." She chuckled.

"What do you want?"

"Nothing, just let Sebastian know that I already reserved the restaurant for tonight's dinner, I'll send the address after I end this call." With that she ended the call. I threw his phone to the table and ran my hands through my hair.

"I hate Sebastian."

Sebastian Grey

I decided to go to the mall by myself to cool my head off. This is actually the first time that we fought and of course, it's because of something small. When I got off from the car, I realized that I forgot my phone which is pretty stupid but I'll live.

I went straight to the book store to see some books because I think I ran out of it. After going around for more than an hour, I bought 7 books in total.

Not bad.

I went to get some massage and then some food, I didn't even realize that 4 hours past so quickly. I decided to sit at Starbucks and ordered a coffee.

"Sebastian! I can't believe that.. I would see you here." I don't even need to turn my head to recognize the voice. It's none other than Lily Garret, she's actually one of the candidates that my pops chose to be my wife.

"Hello Lily." I said without turning.

"What are you doing here in Dubai?" She asked as she sat on the chair behind me.

"Working."

"Alone?" She asked and I turned to her.

"Yes, why?"

"How about we grab dinner together? I know a great restaurant around here." She smiled and I shook my head.

"I'm busy."

"Just this once, we need to talk." She insisted and I let out a sigh.

"Lily, I'm busy."

"You still use the same phone number right?" She asked as she took out her phone and I ignored her.

"I'll see you tonight, I will wait at the restaurant until you come." She said and she got up from her seat. She made her way out and I can't believe that this is happening.

I looked at my watch and I decided to go back to the hotel cause I left Isabelle for too long. I hope she has her head clear by the time I arrive or else, it will be another session of hot debate.

As soon as I got into the hotel, I went up to my room. I opened the door and the living room was empty. I opened the bedroom, empty. Bathroom, empty.

None. Isabelle is nowhere to be found.

I grabbed my phone on the night stand and Lily messaged me the address to the restaurant. I decided to call Isabelle and I heard a ring from the other side of the room. I walked out to the living room and found her phone on the sofa.

Now, she's the one who forgot her phone or.. accidentally forgot to bring her phone.

I sat on the sofa and ran my hands through my hair. I put her phone down on the table and right on time, there's a message on her phone from Andre.

"We should do it again next time, maybe before you go back to LA." Andre texted her and I closed my eyes. Crossing my arms in front of my chest and leaned my body back to the sofa.

"This is.. pretty ridiculous." I said to myself. I took a deep breath and let it out slowly. I got up from the sofa and walked out from the room. I pressed the lift button and waited for it to come.

The door opened revealing Isabelle, she saw me and walked pass me like we both strangers.

"We're going to fight like kids huh?" I asked without looking at her and I could hear her keep walking. I turned to see her already gone, I quickly walked back to the room and I stopped before she even reach the door.

"Let's settle this out.. we need to stop-"

"Andre is waiting for me downstairs, I forgot my phone." She cut me and with that she walked into the room. I bursted in and grabbed her wrist leading her to the bedroom. I locked the door and stood there looking straight at her.

"You should call Andre, cancel everything."

"And what? Spend my precious dinner alone?" She hissed.

"We're going to eat dinner together."
