Epilogue

**LIZ**

“WOMAN!” I was in the kitchen and almost jumped out of my skin when the booming voice came from the bedroom. The bear just woke up and got angry, and he didn’t scare me, never did. I wanted all that tyranny for myself. His domineering tone crawled on my skin like a caress and traveled straight to the right places in my body, making my stomach flutter and warmth gather between my thighs. The thought of punishing me for the audacity I had this morning lurked in his mind, but he didn’t know how wrong he was! I couldn’t wait for that.
We had a ship to board in less than a week. We were touring around Europe, making two long stops, one in Romania and another in Croatia. Anton was originally from there, from a place called Dubrovnik, a beautiful small town by the sea. Something took him out of his sorts two weeks ago, and for quite a few times I caught him on his phone speaking gibberish and cussing even though it was in another language, and when thinking aloud the name Olga slipped his lips, so he decided to travel with us. I loved the idea. It was a way to know him better and figure out his secrets, not that he needed to know my second intentions.
Vlad was also eager to visit his beloved Romania. He wanted to go to Poenari, where everything started and sometime ago we spent an entire afternoon researching and looking at pictures on the internet. He got crushed to see that only ruins rested from his old castle once again. It was the same way or worse from when we got there in 1457, but that’s how the world spins, right? I shared his anxiety as I’d love to see it too with my own eyes and not through my old self memories.
So much has happened since we found each other, not leaving me time to ease him into this new era so overwhelming for him. Vlad was doing well getting acquainted with this century’s progress, but he still had a hard time understanding and accepting other elements.
He pestered me so much about going to his Country, that I booked a flight for us, so we’d get there fast, and right there the fun began. I showed the man what an airplane was, but the hardest part was to convince the pig-head to step inside of one. He lectured me about not being a bird, going to the length of educating me about them and their habits, as if I didn’t know any better. The end of his speech was about how good it was, his feet glued to the ground. We’re going by ship, and I won’t mention what he answered me when I asked if he was a fish then?
“WOMAN! What did you do to me?” My Grizzly was getting impatient, and a naughty smirk widened on my lips. I was just setting up breakfast.
*‘I’ll be there in a minute, Grizzly. Enjoy the wait.'* He growled at me! *'Naughty bear!’*
After that fateful day, I slipped into a long sleep, like a coma. They brought me here to the Catskills, and it took more than a month for me to wake up. My father had assured Vlad it was how the curse worked, and he had also gone through the same process in the past, but when he least expected, I’d be up. Believe me, dad still spit some profanities at him for all the torment he made him go through that long sleepless month.
In this meantime, Doctor Blake took over the Agency, making a lot of changes, but the most important, he incinerated all Radu’s blood samples from the laboratory and destroyed all data linked to the project. He gave shelter to Alice and nurtured her in all ways possible, maybe trying to live up for the lost moments in our lives, but Alice became sorrow personified.
We talked, and she understood his own actions led to that outcome. She wept day and night, and turned into a wanderer ghost. Doc, with the help of a medical staff, tried to guide her back to the actual world, but it was an arduous battle and he wasn’t sure if he would win this war. They loved each other in their twisted way, and I hope they will get the chance of meeting again in a distant future.
*‘Are you ready to be punished, Grizzly? You behaved like a naughty boy and we have serious business to talk about!’* I barged into his head before I got the can of whipped cream and, with a tray in hand, I marched to the bedroom. His only response was a growl in my mind.

**VLAD**

She showed up at the door with that sinful silky robe. All my muscles strained, and I wanted to jump on her and drag her underneath me. She walked to the dresser, settled the tray on top and untied the knot of the robe, holding that darn thing in place and not once she took her eyes from me, leaving a gap open. She had a hungry bear tied to that bed, and I hoped she knew the dangers of playing with wild animals. Smirking at me, she sprayed a good amount of cream in her mouth, licking her fingers clean with a devilish smirk curving her sinful lips, and I got painfully hard under those covers.
“Do you know why you are in those shackles, Grizzly?” Her sultry, melodious voice just added to my agony. I needed to touch her.
“Why am I unable to free myself from these chains, Liz?” As I pulled at them, they didn’t break. How? With my strength, they should. I got frustrated, angry and aroused, a golden storm flickering in my eyes as my demon roared in my head, calling for her little devil. Yes, my Liz had her little devil now, what made everything much more interesting. Somehow, she broke the curse about blood, and I didn’t need that shit to survive anymore. We were something closer to Anton now.
“Watch it, if you break my bed, I must discipline you more.” She warned me with an evil grin. “You pissed my father so much the month I was asleep, he gifted it to me. He told me to put them to good use and have fun. I just didn’t think they would be this much fun.”
*‘Anton, you’re dead meat!’
‘You deserve for driving me insane.’* That was his retort when I screamed at him. ‘Now, leave me out of whatever is happening over there, ewe.’
*‘Your daughter is torturing me.’* His mocking laughter echoed in my brain.
“You didn’t answer me. What did I tell you about ‘battle wound’ crap?” she asked, throwing the covers away from me and touching my leg, the lightest of the touches, but hit my groin like a lightning bolt, and a slow growl raw with need slipped my throat, vibrating in the room, as my body shuddered beneath her palm. Her eyes snapped to mine, dark with desire. “I told you, Grizzly, not a scratch on this sinful body. The only ones allowed are the ones I put here myself…” She stared at me and darted her tongue out, licking her lips. “With my nails.” She added and raked my skin for good, from my thigh up to my belly.
“Liz, don’t poke the bear…” If I hadn’t lost my mind to that point, I did when she settled herself on top of me, grinding her wet center on my already hard and thick length. A loud grunt escaped my throat and my eyes rolled to the back of my head. I was about to combust. “Dragă…” She ground again. “Wicked woman!”
“Little demon is ready to come out and play?” She whispered into my ear and nipped at my lobe. “Open your mouth to me, Grizzly.” I shot her a suspicious look. “Or my little devil won’t come to the game.” A firestorm raged inside me, and a burning hunger consumed her, I saw in her eyes as I opened my mouth and the sweet taste of the cream filled my tongue, as she seared my mouth with her soft lips, in a sizzling, desperate, almost brutal kiss, full of desire, taking us on the ride of our lives.
If this was a sample of my eternity beside her, I was ready to enjoy every minute. I couldn’t see my life without Liz, and not even death took us apart. I loved her with everything in me, the sound of her carefree laughter, spraying that cream all over us, the light in her eyes, the floral perfume of her skin, everything! She was perfect, with a caring heart and now a few kinks, and she was mine, only mine.
We saved each other, but she was the one who did the saving. Liz rescued me in so many ways, even when I thought I wasn’t worth saving. She was there to hold me every time I stumbled, every time I fell. She accepted me with all my faults, my troubled soul, and all my sins.
I’d never imagined the day I marched into Târgovişte on top of a horse and thirsty for revenge, my entire life would change. But it did, when the light of those beautiful lavenders dared to shine on me.

*The End.*

Author’s Note.
Thank you so much for reading my book. I hope you enjoyed it. It’ll be a series, and Anton's story will come soon. Please follow me on my social media FB and IG for news and sneak peaks of my works. Xoxo.

Vladislav Draculea aka Vlad Dracula and his brother Radu were actual people who lived in the mid-1400s. He was rough in his ways and sometimes misunderstood by the means he used to secure his country. The Romanians consider him a HERO and, being half Romanian, I couldn’t be more proud of him. Here, I tried to give life to the man hidden behind the tyrant and ruler façade, but I had to tap a bit on the fiction so I could bring him to our days. All the historical facts depicted in this book are true according to the bibliography used, the books of two historians, Professor Raymond T. Mcnally and Professor Radu Florescu.
