Chapter 41: The Misty Night
The night was quiet, with only a few sounds of night creatures. Rakiza, on the other hand, was not in the mood to sleep after Theo had brought her into the firefly kingdom. And the location was etched in her mind and heart, even Theo was annoying in his actions most of the time. But he had this idea of making other people happy. And it was a touching moment for them as they walked around the trees and shrubs teeming with glowing fireflies, which she will never forget. When she closed her eyes, Theo's face smiled back at her. His arrogance and heartless demeanor were replaced by the gentleman's caring and warming personality. And he looked dashing in the midst of it all.
Rakiza had fallen asleep after a few minutes. And Theo was nowhere to be found. Mist was crawling on the ground from the woods, moving towards the cottage and covering it in fog. She was fast asleep when her eyelids moved, indicating that she was dreaming. In her dream, she noticed the window was open and the woods outside were bright, where the fog began to move and transformed into Muriel. She was calling out Rakiza's name. Rakiza, follow me.
Rakiza awoke from her nap and went to the window, where she saw Muriel standing beneath the large oak tree. And she was stunning in her white long gown that flowed freely, as well as her long hair. She was perplexed to see Muriel in Theo's place and asked, "Muriel, why are you here?"
"I'm here to get you, Rakiza; come with me; someone is waiting for you." Muriel's face was begging, yet blank and solemn. "Please come with me, Raki."
"Where are we going?" Rakiza inquired, "It's too dark in the woods." Muriel, get closer to me. You appeared to be drenched in the night's moisture. "
"I can't get any closer to there. You have to come with me, "she said, almost sobbingly, her hands shaking.
"All right, wait for me," as she ran outside the house and drew closer to Muriel. "You looked so cold. Here's a blanket; cover yourself. "
Muriel, on the other hand, ignored Rakiza's offer and turned towards the moonlit woods.
"Muriel, stop. We can't go in there. It's too dangerous to cross unfamiliar woods at night. Rakiza said, "Come back here," as she followed Muriel.
But Muriel didn't bring to a halt there; she kept luring Rakiza into the woods, and Rakiza ran after her friend. The cold of the night had caused the area to become damp. And she could feel the stinging icy droplets falling on her face as she ran after Muriel. She believed it was still a dream, and the other side of her brain told her to stop, but she couldn't. Rakiza's will was taken over by Muriel's voice. Rakiza wished to awaken, but it didn't happen until Muriel came to a halt in the middle of the woods.
Rakiza could sense that something wasn't quite right as the mist thickened around Muriel. And she was in a nightmare agony. She began to pinch her elbow skin and feel the pain in order to wake up. And Muriel turned around to face her, smiling, and saying, "Thank you for coming here with me; you truly are a true friend, Rakiza." She then walked slowly towards Rakiza. She came to a halt a step away, then took both of Rakiza's arms in her hands. Look into my eyes, Raki, and you'll see how lovely you are; I want you to come with me, in my place; it was freezing out there, and I chose you to be with me forever.
"But you're already dead."
"Death isn't a concern here, but being with you is. Someone is waiting for you, to be with you, to be with us all. We are now a family, Rakiza." Muriel drew Rakiza's face closer to hers. And there was something irresistible about her gaze. It was some sort of enticing force that was both captivating and dangerous.
Rakiza wished to move but was unable to do so. She believed she was in a nightmare and needed to be awoken. Her heart beats faster as Muriel's icy cold hands gripped her shoulders tightly and drew her closer and closer to her.
After a few moments, Muriel opened her mouth and two fangs protruded dramatically that were also too sharp to cause effortless pricking in Rakiza's neck, two canines that were also too sharp to cause effortless pricking in Rakiza's neck. And in Rakiza's mind, dwelling voices echoed, her versus Theo's screaming voice, insisting that Muriel was not dead. And now, at the end of her story, she was going to die at the hands of her cherished best friend, Muriel's fangs. She was looking at herself being bitten by her friend and about to die when she closed her eyes to accept the final verdict. Rakiza's final thought as a living human being was, "Just make it quick, Muriel, and don't make it painful to bear," as she waited for Muriel's sharp canine to penetrate her flesh. However, a loud thud and a few woops end everything.
When she opened her eyes, all she saw was the dark woods in front of her. "Where's Muriel?" she yelled, turning around to look for Muriel, who was nowhere to be found. But after a few minutes, she heard a grumbling and thudding of the ground near the firefly's realm in the dark woods.
Rakiza ran as fast as she could to get to the beautiful place she had visited the night before, thanks to Theo's once-in-a-lifetime generosity.
Blag! Blag! Rakiza's nightmares were set off by the banging on the trees. Then there was the growling, and something landed a meter away from her feet: Muriel's body, motionless like a mutilated mannequin.
Rakiza screamed at the top of her lungs, her eyes closed, until a hand tapped her shoulder to get her to stop. When she opened her eyes, it was Theo in front of her, and Muriel's body was not on the ground.
And Theo pushed her back into the house and into the room. "What exactly are you doing out there?"
"In my dream, I saw Muriel, and she wanted me to accompany her."
"Did she tell you where she's taking you?" Theo's eyes were red with rage.
"She didn't say where she was going, but she did say that someone was waiting for me."
"Next time, never go outside without me! It is a simple rule to follow. Never go outside without me, especially at night!" Theo was still enraged.
Rakiza was incensed by Theo's rage and decided to fight back and screamed, "I was dreaming! Seeing Muriel turn vampire was a nightmare! "
"You're not dreaming, Rakiza; what you saw was real; Muriel is now a vampire, and she was after you."
"Oh no, I'm still in the nightmare zone; please wake me up!" Rakiza screamed.
Without hesitation, Theo drew her into her arms and kissed her angrily and savagely, just as he had before. Rakiza could sense the urgency in Theo's actions, as well as the pain from Theo's pungent lips.
Unlike before, Theo had no plan to keep himself from kissing Rakiza, and she could tell. He was going to take her. She had a feeling. Rakiza found it impossible to resist. His masculine groin hardened as he drew her closer to him. There is no turning back now. What happened in the future would have to be dealt with later, but for the time being, she knew exactly what she wanted from Theo. Rakiza became frail as Theo kissed, hugged, and touched her. And she cried out for more and more of him.
Theo groaned as he savored her lips and neck, his lips raking down to her chest, and Rakiza could feel Theo's intense emotions.
She tilted her body back in response to Theo's love making with her, but before Theo could give her his manhood, something stopped Theo, making him angrier than ever. He screamed, "Push me away!" because of a thought he only knew what it was.
Rakiza pushed him even harder, causing him to fall to the ground. They were both enraged and gasping for air. But it was Rakiza who was more disappointed. By Theo's abrupt termination of the foreplay he had begun, she felt ashamed of herself.
Theo slammed his two bear hands on the ground, and Rakiza screamed, "Stop it, Theo! Stop it! "She cried and had no idea what had prompted Theo to act in such a manner. She thought she was seducing him, tempting his masculinity, but she was now in doubt and she knew that she was not dreaming at all.
Theo bolted outside without saying anything, leaving Rakiza in tears. And she began to believe that her life was not like anyone else's. She was endowed with a nightmare and a horrifying fantasy life. She realized why her father didn't love her and kept accusing her mother of being a whore who became pregnant while he was away from home. What Theo had done to her that night had opened a door to the past that she didn't want to deal with because she didn't believe it existed. She was the monster's daughter. That's what she always got from her father's mouth. "Rakiza is a monster's daughter!" And her mother had to choose between her and her father, and she chose her.
The mountain was covered by a thick fog the next morning, and the cottage was still quiet. Rakiza had not gotten enough sleep that night, but she was up early in her new t-shirt and buggy pants. She was peering out the window. The location where she first saw Muriel had been slammed to the ground. She then went outside to look around. The freezing wind was still blowing.
Her gaze swept over the locations where she had seen Muriel, looking for proof that she had not been dreaming the previous night. And she noticed some footsteps, as well as her own barefoot steps. "Oh my God," she mumbled, thinking. These are my traces. And... boot Theo's prints. She came to a halt as she looked down at the splotches on the wet ground.
Muriel has turned into a vampire.
"Today is Muriel's funeral; what are your plans?" Theo inquired as he leaned against the cottage wall.

"A Tower" after three hours.
Nikolas Augustus was standing in his room, staring at the LCD screen, which showed a foggy morning mountain view, which resembled his life.
Coming out in broad daylight has long been a dream, and it is about to come true. That gives him hope that he has finally found the cure.
It was still daylight, but he was exhausted from his fast. Lupe was concerned because he refused to drink the blood.
"You're becoming weaker, Sir. You should take a small sip of blood. It's in the covered glass, Sir. "
"Don't mind me, Lupe; you have more important things to do than look for fresh blood for me; I can survive for a while without human blood in my viens. What do you have? "
Lupe was Nikolas' most devoted servant. He's willing to sacrifice his own blood to ensure his master's survival.
Lupe returned from the wake with some good news for her master. "Today is the burial, Sir," he said, spending hours in Muriel's wake gathering information for his master. "There seemed to be something going on the other night, Sir."
For a few moments, Nikolas was deafeningly quiet. "Someone is in town now, and is planning to outrun us in our pursuit of Rakiza," Nikolas explained.
"What exactly do you mean, Sir? Isn't it you who..." Lupe was wondering.
Nikolas's deep voice stated, "Someone had come to give Muriel a "kiss," and it wasn't me, and this would imply war within the same bloodline. Rakiza must be secured. That is how it should be. "
"Do you have any suspects?"
Nikolas was deeply contemplating something. And he knew that what he had in mind had a high probability of being true. He was feeling a little down, with a heavy heart. If his suspicion is correct.
"My mother."
Lupe's phone rang twice before he answered. When Nikolas looked at his servant, his face turned whiter than ever. He knew who was on the other end of Lupe's phone call.
Lupe replied, "Yes, he's here," and handed the phone to Nikolas. "Your mother wants to speak with you, sir; she's in the building."
