Chapter 81 : Rakiza And Theo

Everything went into slow motion in Rakiza's eyes. Tessa's screams towards her were audible. "I'm going to kill you!" Her steps became more audible, and Rakiza realized she was out of options. She'll die soon, and the bloodstone will wipe out the human race. But then unknowingly her hand grabbed something in her pants pocket. And she remembered what it was and quickly took it from her pocket, sprayed the wolfsbane solution on Tessa Augustus' face, and she smoked and bubbled like dirty acid-sprayed on tiles.
Tessa Augustus rolled on the floor as the roof of the cabin began to collapse. Rakiza wanted to drag her out to save her, but it was too late; Tessa was covered with half of the cabin's roof running down. And all she had to do was keep herself safe from the falling debris. She dashed to the door, but it was about to shut when a hand pulled her out from the entire cabin's roof collapsing.
"I'm sorry, I arrived late," Theo said as he embraced her as she exited the cave-in cabin.
"What took you so long?" Rakiza asked, gasping for air.
The ground began to shake as Theo gasped and kissed her on the lips. The quake was getting worse. The trees swayed as the ground swallowed the cabin. Rakiza was drawn away from the cabin by Theo, and they ran as fast as they could away from the cracked ground, crossing and jumping over the shaking ground, which was beginning to drop down like a hollow ground, and they were fortunate to have the power of quick movements, which saved them from death. They slammed into the grass together.
The ground shook for ten minutes, bringing down all the trees and swallowing some.
Rakiza and Theo were looking for each other in each other's arms.
"It's wonderful to have you back in my arms, Rakiza," Theo said quietly.
Rakiza's voice trembled as she said, "I think I killed Tessa Augustus."
Theo kissed Rakiza on the cheek, and they hugged for a few moments before something burst in the center of the collapsed cabin.
Tessa Augustus was floating in the air, her eyes red and blazing and her face blistering and beginning to melt. She was enraged as ever and whooped angrily at the two couples on the ground. Theo and Rakiza were estranged from one another. Tessa grabbed Rakiza's hair, pulled her up, and slammed her against the last strongest tree standing around them.
And in the blink of an eye, she had Rakiza's neck dangling in the air.
Theo transformed into a werewolf to assist Rakiza, but Tessa quickly whisked him away and flew away. Tessa was dead set on killing Rakiza and slashed her chest with her venomous long claws, causing unsightly wounds. Rakiza attempted to fight back, but she was no match for the queen of the damn. Tessa was furiously angry with her.
"I'll suck all your blood, Tessa," Tessa said as she buried her long, sharp canine against Rakiza's neck as sucked Rakiza's blood, she was hungry and in pain. Rakiza trembled with every sucking motion she made.
Her blood was thinner in her veins, causing her to struggle to breathe.
Theo appeared behind Tessa and yanked her away from Rakiza's grip, but she slashed and slammed Theo to the ground with her one sway of hand claws.
Tessa sucked and drained Rakiza's blood with all her strength when Nikolas appeared beside her mother with a sharp wooden stick on her back and another on her heart. Tessa let go of Rakiza's hand and turned to face her son. "How come, Nikolas?"
Nikolas' tears began to fall, but he showed no remorse. "I'm sick of killing innocent people to fulfill your dream of conquering the world, mother. And I can't bear the thought of you killing Rakiza. " He said this as he squeezed the wooden stick on his mother's heart to cause her death. "Go to sleep, mother, peacefully."
Tessa's body began to decay and turn into dust, which was blown away by the wind. He remained motionless next to Rakiza, who was still laying on the ground, staring at him. Theo couldn't believe what he had witnessed. Nikolas dared to murder his mother for the sake of peace.
Nikolas took Rakiza's arms and pulled her up to stand in front of him. "You're safe now, Rakiza."
"Why did you murder your mother, Nikolas?" Rakiza hushed.
"Because of you," Nikolas explained, "she had no other intention than to kill you for your blood. But I'm sick of murdering your forefathers and now you, Rakiza. It's too much for me. And I was the only soul capable of murdering my mother because I was her son. "
"What will happen next, Nikolas?” Rakiza inquired loudly.
"Theo will look after you. You have the freedom to become the person you want to be. "
"And how about you, Nikolas?"
"I'll be gone forever, Rakiza," Nikolas said as he was carried away by the wind, and the place was frozen.
Rakiza began to cry as Theo touched her hands. "I'm one of them now, Theo," cried Rakiza.
"No, you're not," Theo said, looking Rakiza in the eyes. "If you want to be with me forever, permit me to mark you, Rakiza. Be my mate. "
Rakiza knew her feelings for Nikolas were motivated by curiosity and challenges. What her heart desired was Theo. The most obnoxious man she had ever met and had secretly loved from the start. She looked at Theo and accepted his mark wholeheartedly.
The ground began to tremble again, signaling that they should flee and never return. They ran as fast as they could, trying to avoid the crashing trees on the ground. "What occurred? What caused the earthquake in the forest? "
"We have to get out of this forest as soon as possible, Rakiza!" Theo said aloud. He grabbed Rakiza's arm and yanked her out of the forest. And just in time, they slammed to the ground as they watched the forest fall to the ground. The vast red forest was transformed into a treeless wasteland.
After a few days of travel, Rakiza and Theo returned to Theo's domain. And they were greeted cheerfully by the people of Theo.
Rakiza sat silently inside the tent, contemplating how she would cleanse her blood of vampires. Tessa Augustus bit her and she turned into a vampire. And she'd become like Tessa and Nikolas.
Theo entered with an elder. "How do you feel, Rakiza?" Theo inquired, concerned.
Rakiza stated solemnly, "With me here, you're in danger."
"That's why he's with us," Theo explained, referring to the elderly man with him. "He can assist you in extracting the vampire blood from your blood."
The elderly approached Rakiza and touched her top head as he closed his eyes. "You have the cure," he said quietly. "It's the bloodstone."
The bloodstone was more than just a cure for vampires roasting in the sun. It also purifies the blood and returns it to its source. Rakiza was cured after sucking the bloodstone. And for a few days in the werewolves’ camp, Rakiza feels at ease and relax.
Theo entered her tent one night and took her out. "Permit me to lead you to a lovely place."
They wandered through a small dark forest until they came to a point where each tree was formed by glittering silver lights.
"It’s lovely," Rakiza said quietly.
"This is the place for you," Theo said lovingly.
"What made you think of it?" Rakiza inquired, smiling.
"Will you be my mate?" Theo asked, staring at her. "And my Luna for eternity? "
Rakiza's heart was filled with super-love feelings. Theo's face was the most attractive man in the world to her. Her eyes were filled with admiration for Theo. She knew Theo would be the ideal protector for her. And that they would consider so many factors. And without further ado, she said, "Yes." She knew in her heart that Theo was the man she had been dreaming of since the first time they bumped into each other.
"Thank you," Theo said as he encircled Rakiza in his strong arms and kissed her on the lips down to her neck, where he implanted the mark of ownership. And the sting of pain Theo had caused on her shoulder was replaced with ecstasy and satisfaction.
Then she became his Luna. They were also blessed with twins, Mara and Mira. And they lived happily ever after.

Epilogue

The night is dark, and the light from a lamp post in a private cemetery strikes the tomb with no name. The wind is getting colder as winter approaches. And the tomb with no name is tucked away in a cemetery nook. It has been forgotten, and no one has shown any interest in the tomb. The year is 2050, and the world is in chaos, with half of the world suffering from hunger. And children will roam around fearlessly in search of food.
Two boys were running away from the approaching rain when one of them was injured and stumbled to the ground.
"Ludie! Are you hurt?" screamed the tall and thin young man as he dashed to his companions.
"I'm fine," the chubby boy replied, "it's just that my right foot gets stuck on the gravestone laying on the ground."
"Can you still walk or will I carry you?" the elderly inquired. "Your knee is bleeding. It's better to carry you. "
"No, I can walk. I'm not an invalid," he says as he stands up and walks limping again.
The two children flee, leaving the gravestone exposed for reading. The curving of the gravestone reveals a name, NIKOLAS AUGUSTUS, who died in 1980. And the lightning struck again, this time directly on the tomb, and a crack began to run to the other side of the tomb. And the boy's blood runs from the crack to the deep ground, into the casket beneath, and into Nikolas Augustus' mouth, and after a hundred years of sleeping he opens his eyes.
