Chapter 64 : Rakiza My Lotus

A woman in a white gown floated in the air. She appeared to be a mist shaped into a beautiful woman floating above the lake in the daylight. Her long hair was floating in the air, and her kind face and eyes were staring at Rakiza. She called out to Rakiza. Rakiza, your time has come; you are the hope; follow the path to the past. Follow the path.
Rakiza awoke, having fallen asleep on the sofa, with the open book of Zella's story in her right hand.
"Am I dreaming?"
Chin burst through the door; her face animated. "Rakiza, there's a visitor," Chin said, smiling.
"Who is my visitor?" Rakiza inquired.
"Sir Lupe has arrived."
"Where is he?"
"He's in the living room, waiting for you."
Lupe stood up as Rakiza approached. "Good morning, I hope I don't bother you," Lupe said, smiling. "Rakiza sat across from Lupe.
"My boss, Sir Nikolas, ordered me to check on you."
Rakiza was taken aback by what Lupe said. "Nikolas knew I was here."
"Yes, he's the one who brought you here; he knows you need to hide."
Rakiza couldn't believe what she was hearing. Theo wasn't the man in the black suit who saved her from Ardoja?
"Was it Nikolas who rescued me?"
"Yes, he would not let you die."
"And where is he now?"
"Because he won't be able to meet you, he sent me."
And picturing Nikolas as her savior made her heart race. She was concerned about what had happened to Theo.
"Do you know what happened to Theo? He was imprisoned in the dungeon; have you heard anything about him? "
"I have no news about your friend," Lupe said, concerned.
Rakiza sobbed, "I want to talk to Nikolas; maybe he knows what happened to Theo."
"Calm down, Rakiza; Sir Nikolas did everything he could to save you, even though he knew he might die as a result of what he did."
Rakiza fixed her gaze on Lupe. Was Nikolas' life at stake in what he did? She reflected.
"Let's just wait and see what happens next," Lupe said, "especially since his mother, Madam Tessa Augustus, called him."
"Tessa? I've heard that name before. "
"Tessa Augustus was Sir Nikolas Augustus' mother, and she was very angry with her son, Nikolas."
"Yes, I remember." Rakiza said, "Tessa was the most beautiful woman I saw in the hall with a slew of vampires. She introduced me to the spectators. "
"Madam Tessa Augustus was one of the owners of A Tower run by Sir Nikolas, but now that she's angry with her son, Sir Nikolas may be removed from his position as CEO," Lupe said sadly.
Rakiza looked at Lupe, concerned, and inquired, "And why are you here?"
"To give you his message," Lupe said, handing Rakiza a white envelope with a lotus flower design on a white wax seal.
Rakiza took the envelope with trembling hands. She was curious about what would happen this time with Nikolas and Theo.
Lupe stood up. "I have to go. He might need me right now," Lupe said, leaving Rakiza motionless with her gaze fixed on the envelope.
Why did you make such a sacrifice for me, Nikolas?
***
"I must punish you for the sin you committed in the name of our descendant Nikolas."
Tessa yelled angrily at her son.
"You have no proof that I saved Rakiza, mother, and you're well aware that the enemies arrived that day."
"Don't lie any longer!" Ardoja noticed you! "Yelled Tessa.
Nikolas had stopped responding. He was just waiting to see how he would be punished.
"The superiors are already meeting to decide what punishment will be imposed on you, Nikolas. It's a great shame that you did this. You're already on the side of the enemies, and I can't ignore it. As one of the superiors, I must be the first to impose punishment on you, Nikolas. "
That you would trade your descendants for Rakiza? "
Nikolas was silent, and Tessa couldn't enter his mind because he had blocked her mother in his mind, cutting their mind-link.
"Punish me, mother."
"OK, one hundred werewolves will die as a result of your stupidity, Nikolas," she said before departing.
"No, mother. Don't do that. Punish me, not them! " He followed his mother, but a group of vampire warriors intercepted his path and stabbed him with a rod with a poisonous needle at the end, and Nikolas fainted, but before his memory faded, she whispered Rakiza's name. "
***
"Nikolas?" Rakiza turned around, but there was no one there.
"This would help you recover quickly," Chin said, carrying some fruit.
"Did you see anyone as you walked in?"
"No. Why?"
"I thought I heard Nikolas calling my name."
"No one is here, Rakiza."
"But... anyway, maybe it's just the wind," she thought as she picked up Nikolas' message for her.
Chin noticed that it remained unopened. "When will you read that message?" You said it was Nikolas' letter. And why was it still sealed? "
"I don't know," Rakiza sighed, "but I don't feel like opening it."
"What? Well, if you want, I can open it for you. " Chin smiled.
"No. It's proper for me to know its contents before you. " She began to remove the wax seal from the cover before pulling the letter from the envelope.
"Are you nervous?"
"Yeah, I'm not sure why. "
"Well, if you want, I can read it aloud for you."
"Chin..." Rakiza sighed.
"OK, it's best if you read it quietly before sharing it with me," Chin said as she walked outside. "I'll be back in a minute."
Rakiza prepared herself for the content of Nikolas' message for her when she was alone. Then she took a deep breath, opened the letter, and saw the opening. It was a poem written specifically for her.
*Rakiza, my lotus.
You are the ray of sunshine in my life.
Even after a hundred years, you are still my lotus.
You are my past, present, and future all rolled into one.
Although the swamp has dried up, you keep me warm and misty.
And you will always be my one and only love.
I give you my life, and I will pour the last drop of my blood into you, even if my life ends on dry land in the soft light of the sun.
Forever,
Nikolas*
Rakiza didn't realize tears were dripping from her eyes. Nikolas' poem-message touched her heart.
Chin walked in and noticed Rakiza sobbing. "Rakiza, what happened to you?"
"It's a poem. Nikolas wrote it for me."
"Wow, he's really romantic."
"But his poem has a deeper meaning."
Chin asked Rakiza if she wanted to read the letter, and she said, "Can I?"
"I'm sorry, Chin, but I have to keep it to myself."
"It's fine," Chin said, smiling.
"You're so lucky to have two really handsome guys interested in you; there aren't any for me."
Rakiza remained silent.
Rakiza appeared to be fine. She appeared to be in good spirits, but it was clear that her mind was troubled.
She believed Nikolas' poem meant death. The name that came to mind was Theo.
***
A gong reverberated on the ground while Theo was sleeping. It was already twilight. He sat up from lying down and reached for his sword. The sound of the gong warned him that death was near. And he was correct.
On the north side of the refugee camp, a swarm of vampire-warriors thronged the ground, killing all werewolves in their path, including children.
Ajella entered Theo's tent with trepidation. "Theo, we have to leave; the north side camp has already been destroyed."
Many of our people, including children, were attacked and killed by vampires. And they're coming this way, so we'd better get out of here. "
"No, we are unable to leave." Chin was aggressive. "We must fight until we die," Theo said, drawing his sword from its sheath.
Ajella knew she couldn't stop Theo from fighting, so she drew her bow and arrow. They're both prepared to fight. The gong, however, had stopped and been replaced by a variety of death screams and crying.
Theo dashed outside his tent and saw a bloody image of many wounded packs, complete with children and elderly people. Theo had never witnessed anything so heartbreaking. He then screamed angrily.
"They must perish. Every vampire must die! "Theo sobbed.
Hundreds of werewolves were killed by vampires. Dead bodies were bathing in their own blood on the ground. But there was one thing that bothered them. Mostly, Theo.
Why did the vampire flee after slaughtering a hundred werewolves? It was still dark, and they could have had another thousand kills, so why were they fleeing?
Theo and Ajella returned to the cave of the great Bheta. And they already knew the answers.
The healer declared, "Someone had sinned against them and had to pay a hundred werewolves." Bheta explained the significance of this event. "And it was all linked to Rakiza."
