Chapter 62: Getting Away from Death
Rakiza's vision was gone. She lacked all strength. But she could clearly feel the turmoil around her. She wanted to open her eyes, but they wouldn't. Maybe it was the anesthesia in her veins, or maybe it was because she had almost no blood left.
She wanted to raise her hand, but she couldn't.
A lot had already been broken around her. Someone was yelling everywhere.
Someone approached and yelled. "In the dungeon, get Theo out of the dungeon!" The man yelled again, wanting to save Theo, and then there were hands lifting her, but someone stopped him.
"You can’t take her," a woman’s voice, who was Ardoja, dictated Rakiza’s mind to her.
And then, he was held back from lifting her.
She really wanted to open her eyes, but her ears were already ringing. Clearly, in her mind, she was about to run out of blood. The surroundings were dark, not because there was no light, but because she had no more blood. I'm going to die. Rakiza thought.
And then she saw in her mind again the man with white hair, a dream. It approached her and whispered. Don’t sleep. You have to get up, Rakiza. Get up! And then, Rakiza tried again and opened her eyes, and now she had seen a light, but a dim light. And she saw the shadow of a man in black, a man in a cloak. But her vision was still blurred. There was a cry of death. And then, she tried to sit up, but she couldn't. She didn't have the slightest bit of strength.
But then the man in black came up behind her. And she was raised.
"Where are you taking me?" Rakiza asked quietly.
But the man did not respond, instead fleeing with Rakiza. Rakiza had a lot to ask, but her mouth wouldn't cooperate. There was no sound coming from her mouth. So, she simply let the man take her. She believed that the man was her savior. And her mind wandered back, and Rakiza was lost to the world again, as if the light had gone out. "Theo" was the last person she wanted to see.

Theo was taken aback when he heard footsteps running up the stairs. And those footprints ended up in his cell. Someone opened his cell door and cut the chain around his leg. As he sniffed, his fellow wolves arrived and rescued him.
One man carried him, but he struggled to walk. But he tried, and as they approached the stairwell, he turned around in Rakiza's cell. "Where is Rakiza? Please save Rakiza. "
"You're our only mission here right now; someone else has been ordered to rescue Rakiza, so move on; we'll leave here before the general's men arrive," one man replied.
Rakiza's empty cell caught Theo's attention. They climbed high, only to be met by a swarm of vampire soldiers, sparking a fight. Theo's comrades did not transform into wolves; instead, they fought the vampire soldiers with weapons.
The wolves who rescued Theo were strong fighters who easily defeated the first group of vampires who tried to stop them. "Hold on," a companion said as he handed Theo a sword.
Just then, another swarm of vampires emerged from the main entrance. Theo used his final strength to defeat his opponents. He also killed some vampires. They were fortunate to have gotten out when the sun rose.
Some of the vampires who still wanted to chase them had already been burned by the sun. Finally, they were able to escape the massive structure that had imprisoned them.
They dashed towards the car that was waiting for them. They quickly left the area. But Theo was looking at the building they were leaving and mumbled, "Rakiza, Rakiza is in the building with me; the vampires will kill her."
"Let's just hope she's saved by another group given the mission to rescue her," a colleague suggested.
And they have completely fled the city for their territory, the territory of the wolves. He was too anxious for Rakiza.
They arrived at their territory without hindrance, and Theo was led to his tent. Ajella took care of him and his wounds, together with their healer, an elderly woman.
"Where’s Bheta?" Theo inquired.
"What exactly do you want from her?" Ajella was taken aback. Theo was looking for their prophet for the first time.
"You have to heal your wounds first, Theo," Ajella advised. Your wounds continue to bleed. That must be kept clean. "
"No! I must find out what happened to Rakiza! "
"And what's the rush about?"
"If she is not saved, the vampires will kill her." Rakiza's blood is what the vampires want, and they can only get it when she dies. So, take me to the prophet Bheta's cave. "
"Later," Ajella insisted. "First and foremost, Theo, you must heal those wounds."
"Ajella is correct, Theo," one of their councils said as he entered Theo's tent. "You need to regain your strength before you can help Rakiza."
"I'm curious about what happened to Rakiza."
"You'll be informed shortly, Theo." "I'll speak with the prophet." The old man directed Ajella to care for Theo's wound. And Theo couldn't push any further because he didn't have the strength to stand up to Ajella at the time.
When Theo closes his eyes, the only thing he sees is Rakiza. Rakiza was in pain.

Rakiza was awake, but she was afraid to open her eyes. Then she heard the sound of birds and felt the cool breeze on her skin. She then smelled the aroma of freshly brewed coffee.
She slowly opened her eyes and realized she was inside a room with an open window, and she recognized the room after seeing the woods outside. She had previously been lying on that bed. Rakiza stood up to clear the area. Then she noticed and realized she was in Theo's room. Theo?
She went back to bed because her head felt numb. Her heart was filled with joy as she imagined herself in Theo's cottage. Theo had come to her aid.
Then she heard footsteps approaching the door and abruptly opened it, "Rakiza?" Chin walked in. She dashed over to Rakiza's bedside and hugged her friend. "Thanks, you're here. You're extremely pale. What occurred to you? "
"Chin? Why are you here? Where is Theo? "I'd like to speak with Theo. "
“When I arrived, Theo was nowhere to be found. But I just made the bed because someone sent me a letter, and I believe it was Theo. The letter instructs me to clean this cottage and to come here alone. So, I tricked Susan and came here by myself. That's why I'm here," Chin exclaimed. "Just stay here and I'll get your food."
"Wait, Chin."
"What is it, Rakiza?"
"How come you never see Theo here in the cottage?"
"I told you I just got a letter. He wants me to look after you. That's why he included a large sum in his letter, so I could buy our necessities here as well as your medicine for severe anemia. "Just wait there, I'll get you something to eat," Chin left the room, leaving Rakiza perplexed.
Chin returned later with food for Rakiza, who ate quietly. She needed to regain her energy as soon as possible. She desired to locate Theo.
After a few hours, Chin was distraught as night fell. "Rakiza, we need to lock the door.”
"Why do you appear so concerned, Chin?"
"One of the instructions in the letter was to lock all of the doors in this cottage at night," Chin said, taking something and showing it to Rakiza. A knife. "It's wrapped in the same manner as the letter."
Rakiza looked at the knife, stunned. It was handcrafted, double-edged, and had a red stone in its grip.
"I'm scared of looking at that knife, too," Chin says. "But it's written in the letter that I'm going to stab people who force their way in here."
"What?"
"I think I won't be able to do it." Chin shivered.
"I'll keep this knife and the medicine you got me." Rakiza went to bed after dinner and warned Chin.
“You have to stay with me, Chin. Don’t roam around outside the cottage at night.”
"Tell me, Rakiza, what happened to you?" Chin inquired.
"I'd like to tell you, Chin, but it's best if you don't know. I just want you to keep an eye out for Theo tomorrow. Can I, however, see the letter?”
"A letter."
"Yes, please hand me Theo's letter."
"It's in my pocket," Chin said quickly, handing the letter to Rakiza. "Look...then read it here. Every instruction sounds strange."
Rakiza opened the letter, and her eyes widened at the sight of it.
"What happened, Rakiza?"
"This letter... wasn't written by Theo."
"What?"
"It was done by someone else."
"Then who could he be?" Chin was taken aback.
And Rakiza was overcome by fear and confusion.
Then there were knocks on the door.
"Whatever happens, don’t open that door, Chin." Rakiza said firmly.
