After my new assistant slipped out of the room my phone rang and Gregor Ramero call one of my friend who has detective agency. I sigh an decided not to answer but he message me.

"Easton, you fucking answer the call. I don't care about your thing towards Lexi, and I don't care about it. "Please return my call; it is urgent."

I tilted my head. He's right, what happened last time all of my friends were out of it, and maybe he has something important to say. Since aside from being a friend, he was part of the Crimson Raven pack head in the investigation team assigned to tell the alpha what was happening to other packs and jury members as well.

I dial his number and for just one ring, he answers it quickly.

"I know you, you would call me immediately, thank god. So here it is, De Russo. I heard from my source that the jury had been fighting if they would hold the coronation to give you the title of an Alpha because, as of now, you are still fucking single since you have not married a man yet. You have to hurry. If you don't want to lose your title as an alpha, I heard that your enemies, Ryker Ferrer and Mortimor Yantisco, are helping your Beta to snatch your title as an alpha. If you lose, it will be harder for you to move and investigate what happened to Angeline and your family more than ever. And one thing, maybe Yantisco found out your plan to use his daughter because she was missing. I have a hunch that he was just hiding her damn daughter.

I almost threw my phone in frustration I yelled if Gregor had damn proof if that girl was really missing, but my friend said he would still look for it, but first I have to find a wife before the jury tell when the damn coronation would be held, and my enemy could suggest replacing me by our Beta.

"Are you fucking kidding me? What do you think about marriage a game on your phone that you could start when you like? And where the hell could I find a woman in an instant? "I whispered so no one could hear since my fucking new driver had just stepped away. I didn't know him yet, so I needed to be very careful, though he was Hendrix friend.

"Don't worry about that, my dear friend, we already have a volunteer." I shook my head and I know what's his been thinking "It's a no, Gregor. I would not use Liz. "

"Oh common tough guy, we both know that this would be win-win for the both of us. Besides, you all know that my parents have been forcing me since last year to find a man."

I didn't let Lexi finish with her speaking when she suddenly started talking through Gregor's phone. "What are you doing at Gregor's place?" then I hear in her back ground that all of my fucking friend was huddle together in maybe Gregor place.

"We all gathered because we were about to come to your office. Because, come on Eas, I know that I have reached the limit as a friend. I couldn't revert the time, but let me fix it. We are friends, right? I'm not asking for anything in return, Eas, but come to think of it, if you couldn't love me the way I wanted, at least you could trust me. I was your best shot here, Easton. I'm a willing victim, you know."

I sigh. "Ok, come here, let's talk about it. Maybe you are right, at least I haven't needed to deceive another. "

I put my phone down in my frustration after I talked to my friend Gregory. I asked him to take a look at what was happening in the family that I was planning to take my revenge on.

I want to use the girl against her family, but I find out that she was missing I don't know Gregor said that he had found out that the daughter of Yantisco was out of sight. I sit in my chair, then massage my temples. While I was doing that, I couldn't stop myself from thinking about the woman who looked like Angeline. Her eyes, nose, lips, and even the way they smile are all beautiful. But it's sad to say that the girl was my enemy. I shouldn't admire her even in my head. None of those Yantisco's could use me to stop me from doing what I wanted to do.

A knock on the door brought me back to reality.

My eyes widen as all of my friends pop up in front of my office door. Lexi was the first step inside, but the other was on her back. It's a bit awkward due to what happened the last time. But I know we already fixed our problem through the phone just a while ago.

"I was starting to think that he was avoiding us because of me. But I hope we fixed it earlier. Now let us talk about our wedding baby. "

I wanted to laugh together with my friends in the back of Lez, but my driver made a noise and I think he broke some glass in the kitchen.

I curse, and Lexi raises her eyebrow.

"You were with someone?" I smirk.

"Don't be jealous, baby, that was just my new driver. You know me, I never trust anyone easily. I have to keep an eye on him until I make sure. though he was my brother's friend. " they laugh again, by what I call to Lez.

And Gregor insisted that he could investigate, but I shook my head. Because it's just small things, I can do them by myself.

I let my friend sit on the couch so I could check my driver first.

As far as I reach the kitchen I saw the man fixing his mess. He was squatting on the floor while picking up the broken glass 

"What happened?" I asked, but the stupid surprise with my present, and hurt his self.

My eyes widened as I saw blood.
