"What did you say?" I ask Luis, though I know that he would not go to answer me because he has now passed out.

He was laying on the chair of my car like a king who's in a mess now.

I tilt my head and think about what I heard. What he said and what's happening Yet no conclusion comes to my head.
If I should ask my brother, he would surely say a word. Much more if I ask this damn man beside me once he's back in his sober state.

It is possible that this man was my enemy's daughter. Maybe that makes sense since I just found out that she was missing. Whatever the reason for this person, I should find out. Then there is my brother, who has the blood of a witch, according to this man beside me. I can use both of them.

But before anything else, I have to look for the evidence.

We arrive at the mansion at almost 2 in the morning. My guards behind me go through their assigned destination.
I pulled Luis out of the car and carried him on my back. Then there is the feeling that there is something in his chest, though I'm not so sure since it's solid and hard.

I saw my brother walking back and forth in the living room, and I forgot about how I felt. When he saw us, Hendrix ran to meet us, and I could see the panic in his eyes.

"What happened? What have you done to him? "

"What an overreaction!" I haven't done anything; he was just drunk. "

I said, rolling my eyes inside my head, then I stepped inside.

"Where would you take him?"

"In his room, where could it be?" I reply sarcastically.

"Let me do it myself."

"Nah, I can do it. Besides, why are you still awake this late?

“You have to go to school tomorrow, Hendrix. Don't waste my father's money through your school. Do you know that your school is one of the best? "

I tilted my head when Hendrix didn't reply and said, "Okay, thank you for taking care of my friend."

That's it, and I saw him walking down the stairs first.

I walk slowly and try to feel what I felt earlier. But Luis moves and he jumps all of a sudden.

"Where am I?" he asked.
"My house, where else?" I replied.

"Go ahead, it's your room there. You're too heavy. I think I could have back pain tomorrow. "

I said though, the truth is that this man was too light like a woman and his skin was soft like a woman's as well. What he said inside the car is still in my head.
Luis bowed his head and said

"thank you" and stepped inside his room.

But I would not let this night pass without knowing the truth.
That night, I didn't sleep until I couldn't find the man. This is the only chance I have.

I obtained the spare key to the room where Luis was staying and sneaked into his room at dawn.

The lights went off and Luis was sleeping soundly in his bed. I could see him through the darkness due to my power as a hybrid.

His whole body was covered by his blanket, so I walked closer to him.

As I was near, I saw the girl who had the same face as Angeline. I stepped closer to make sure that I was not deceived by my eyes since the room was dark and all I was thinking was what Luis said earlier.

But I'm not mistaken. The girl who was lying on the bed inside my house was none other than the girl who was missing and the only daughter of the enemy of my family. Maybe their power of Hendrix has expired.

How come she was here? Does that mean that what Luis said was true? Why did she run away from her father and end up here?

There are a lot of questions inside of me, but there is no answer. But the thing that worried me the most was... why didn't I touch the girl even though this was my chance to exact revenge on her father? And about my brother, he was a witch. Did my father know about it?

At that time, I remembered the last letter from my father that I hadn't read until now.

I close my eyes and step closer to the girl. From now on, I would act like I didn't know anything about what I had seen right now. I have to investigate this more. While this girl was in my care, I would have had power over her father without this man's knowledge.
I slipped out of the room and went through my room. I remembered the hidden letter together with the last thing I had to read was the letter from my father.

I think a few of my questions would be answered if I did that.
So I quickly looked for it in my room, and when I found it, I read it, and I almost dropped to the floor.

According to my father, he didn't want to have a second wife, but Helena was half witch. My father thought that the witch could help, but before she could do that, Hendrix came and her clan of Helena found out. After that, Helena couldn't get into the secret place of those witches to find the book of record where we could see the past. I understand my father and his motivations for doing everything I dislike about him.

He hid all of this so he couldn't be eliminated as the alpha of our clan. And I'm thankful that those people who knew about this secret didn't tell a soul until my father died.

However, my brother's identity had to be as hidden as possible if I didn't want to be eliminated too.

Maybe that's my father's reason for wanting me to keep in touch with Hendrix. to make sure that he wouldn't use his power.
I gritted my teeth. I have to talk to him to remind him not to use his power. even though I already knew he did it. But I made sure that would be the last.
