"What is the meaning of this Yantisco? Why is your daughter all over the internet? "She was the fiance of De Russo, and they would marry soon before her tummy would grow!"

The voice of Ryker hurt the ear of Mortimor when he called the old man while still looking at the screen of his laptop. Ryker wanted to hurt someone while he was still looking at the screen.

He couldn't believe that after how many weeks she's been missing, this was what he was going to see.

On the screen, Ryker saw that her fiancee Louise was so very happy while De Russo was holding her hand.

In his frustration, Ryker threw the glass of wine that he had been using into the screen.

Louise

I have never been nervous in my whole life, and this is the first time that I feel this way. It's like I'm about to die.

"You seem so very nervous, baby."

Hunter holds my hand tightly. I smile even if I really want to run now. Knowing that my father and my fiance, Ryker, would possibly be watching me now on a huge screen TV while cursing me over and over again

"Relax. The wedding will still occur in about a week from now."

His eyes widened. My eyes widened in surprise at seeing Hunter laugh in the camera. His voice sounds like he's enjoying every minute of my torture, yet it seems like his laugh was so inviting that I even smiled too. for no reason.

However, my heart was still beating so fast deep inside that I knew that my father would be here any moment to get me.

When the interview had been done, I let out a sigh of relief when my father was still not showing up. Hunter asked his friends to take me to my room so he could talk outside of the reporters about the details and headlines that they would fill in the tabloid and, ok, the internet.

"You look like a lovely couple there; nice job." one of Hunter's friends whose name I didn't remember; they were too many to remember.

"Yes, it seems like you two were natural." "Are you sure that what happened between you two was just a one-night stand or something was happening to the two of you that we didn't know?"

The other man asked, and I felt that I was in the hot seat now, but thank God that Hendrix came.

"Can I talk to Louise for a second?"

Hendrix said.

the other man smiled and said.

"Wow, it seems like you two were close, huh?"

"Not real, but I guess I'm more comfortable together with Louise than all of you."

Hunter friends laugh, shake their heads, and step out of my room.

"What do you want to discuss?"

I said, "Then sit on my bed."

"Lui, I know that it would be dangerous, and my brother didn't say anything because he didn't want you to know, but... your dad was outside of the mansion talking to my brother. I'm afraid that he would do something stupid. I know that you know what your dad could do, right?"

I stood up from my seat and walked into the door in panic. For some reason, I was afraid that my dad would hurt Hunter right there, right now.

"Bring me to them, please. I want to stop my dad from doing whatever he wants to do."

Hendrix nodded, and he walked first. When we reached the living room, I saw all of Hunter's friends.

"Where are you going?" asks the only girl.

"I know that my dad was outside and he was talking to Hunter. I can't believe you just let him talk to my dad alone."

"Are you upset?" worried or afraid? Hunter could handle the situation." The girl said

I shook my head. "I know my dad was not easy to talk to."

After I said that, I walked to the main door and followed Hendrix.

It was a long walk since the gate was a few meters away. maybe five minutes before I reach the gate, but I just pulled Hendrix before that.

"Let me handle that Hendrix. I don't want Hunter to get mad at you."

"But Louise,I don't want to leave you."

"Don't worry, they won't hurt me." Of course, I was lying when I said that. Because the two men were surely both trying to kill me. But I just wanted to do this. I don't know, but maybe because I know what my dad was capable of doing. Or maybe I don't want him to hurt Hunter because, deep inside, you know that I have a feeling for him. Besides, he was the father of my child.

"Oh, thank God, I didn't need to force this man to open the gate so I could get you." That was what my dad said when he saw me.

Hunter turned around, and when he saw me, he immediately walked to me.

"What the hell are you doing here? I told you to get in your room."

"No, I would talk to my father; I won't just let him hurt you." I answer.

"He couldn't hurt me in my own house." I shook my head. I looked at my father, and he was shaking his head. like he was saying that I have to zip my mouth.

"So I guess you would come with me?" My father said while Hunter looked at me in disbelief.

Hunter held my hand and said, "I won't let that happen." Not on my watch. Not ever."

I smile at Hunter. I could see through his gray eyes that he was afraid that I would come to my father. Yet in those almost stormy eyes there was an urge that if I did come with my dad, war would start.

I held my tummy because it seemed like my baby's heart beat was too fast like mine.
