Elara’s Ideas
Blaze Davies ran out of words about what he witnessed. Only a few minutes later he averted his eyes from his almost-nak*d secretary.
"You are really insane," he muttered then.
"You said you were confused about your feelings for me because of that dress. What now? Have you finally stopped thinking that way?" asked the woman. She was not feeling awkward or embarrassed at all about herself.
Blaze didn't answer. He was even still reluctant to look at her.
"Sir..." The woman approached him again. This time embracing one of his arms. "You need to know that I really like you. No, I am so crazy about you. So, don't ever hesitate to come closer to me if you feel the same way. As long as we want it, then nothing else matters."
"No." He denied it right away, pulling his hand with a little force from her embrace. "Anything else is not the problem, but this unprofessionalism of you. You need to know that many things are more important to me than insignificant thing like this; my daughter, my late wife, the company, and employees. I'd rather get rid of these feelings - or even yourself - rather than sacrificing it all." He seemed firm in his words, looking into her eyes with full confidence.
‘Not that sh*t again. Oh, please, Leander. You also loved me till death. I can't believe you are still lying to yourself after everything that happened.'
"Well, if you refuse, then I will still meet Jake Bolton. I will sleep with him tonight." She tried the same method, this time in an almost-sulking tone like a child.
"It's up to you. That's your right. From the start I was stupid for coming here and to intervene of something silly like this when my daughter was waiting for me to get home. I am sorry. I didn't think appropriately." He straightened his messy shirt a little as he said that. He was about to leave but stopped again to say, "But I emphasize that you will be in trouble if this backfires on our project with Black Coal. At that time, I have the right to expel you from Pageant Corp. Understand?"
He then left the room after that, leaving Lillianne just like that.
"I swear you will regret this, sir. You will be crazy to think of me with another man. Don't blame me then!" Lillianne screamed in fury, still hoping to keep him from leaving. "You hear me? You are really going to regret this, you know? You just don't realize how much I mean to you. So, stop beating around the bush and be clear with your feelings. Don't regret it later, Leander! Leander?!"
However, nothing changed. The man was so determined to leave. He didn't even look back at all.
“Argh, damn it! Why does he act so old fashioned like a human? I could tell he had even gotten aroused while being with me, though. Why is he still so complicated?!"

[I am sorry, sir. I suddenly changed my mind at the end, so I decided not to meet you. Sorry for wasting your time.]
She sent it to Jake Bolton when she got home. She then threw her cell phone carelessly, before tiredly leaning back on the couch.
"Even though I don't fully understand the point of view of humans, now the situation is very different. He is not King Leander or his two previous reincarnations who were still single, but in this life he is a man with child who is still grieving for his wife's death. Of course, you can't use the same method to attract him."
Elara appeared with a bottle of champagne from the kitchen. She caught up with Lillianne and sat beside her while handing it to her friend. The female werewolves seemed to imitate humans again who drink alcohol when they feel stressed.
"It just doesn't make sense. I mean, he doesn't even want to admit that he is interested in me. He keeps making it complicated with this and that reason which makes me even more annoyed." Lillianne became grumpy again. "I mean, how could he just leave me in that room nak*d? He didn't care even though I threatened that I would sleep with that old fart if he didn't stay. How dare he."
"As I said before, he is still human now. We cannot relate their way of thinking, even though we have lived together for centuries."
Lillianne chose not to comment further on Elara's statement. She drank more of the beverage in her hand even though it wouldn't be effective enough to make her drunk.
"Maybe you really should focus on his daughter first. You have to find a way to get her heart. Regarding his wife, it's easy. You said, she might be having an affair behind his back, right? When you can get closer with him later, and he accepts who he is, you just need to persuade him to go back in time to witness his ex-wife's adultery. That way, he will completely move on from her."
She was right!
Lillianne blamed herself a little for not thinking of that beforehand. But, even so...
"It's not an easy thing, though. It also can't be done quickly like I planned. I mean, her daughter is really strange and can't be talked to. I don't know how to approach her -- let alone become closer."
"Well, in the end, you are different from the other humans she avoided. You have something that might be able to control everything and make her change her mind instantly."
Lillianne raised an eyebrow at her ambiguous remark. "You mean?"
"Magic. You have it to manipulate things that will end up in your favor. Just as you did it to charm King Leander, shouldn't you also be able to do it to his daughter as well?"
Wait, Elara was right again. Why had she never thought about it?
"Well, you are right. But I still need to think about it. Argh, my brain feels so full now after what happened that I can no longer think properly," Lillianne was still grumpy. She couldn't overlook her annoyance over the incident earlier.
"Anyway, I still have another idea, though. This time it's about Alpha King Leander."
Elara caught Lillianne's attention again. She quickly glanced at her curiously. "What?"
Instead of answering, Elara just smirked at him.

"P-Pardon me, Your Majesty. But... what did you just say? What do you want me to do?"
Theodoros looked surprised by what he heard from the Luna. He didn't seem to believe it.
"Oh, Theodoros, since when did you become so slow? You weren't like this before." Lillianne shook her head with a fake concerned expression. "I said, I want you to pretend to like me in front of Leander starting from today. Act as if you have a big crush on me. Isn't that simple?"
"B-But may I know why... Your Majesty? I saw him following you last night. I think our plan worked."
Lillianne let out a heavy breath. She felt annoyed again thinking about the incident that damaged her self-esteem. "It failed. Even though I have swayed him, it wasn't strong enough to make him move on. He still fortified himself because of his daughter and late wife. So, that's why I order you to do this."
Theodoros immediately put himself on service in front of her. "I will do it for you, Your Majesty. As I said before, I will do whatever you order."
"Good. I know that I can rely on you. Do it slowly, but confidently. If you force it, it will look unnatural and will fail in the end."
"Alright, Your Majesty."
"But, by the way, that's not the only thing I want to tell you. There is actually one more thing..."
The vagabond werewolf looked at her curiously again.
