About Rhea Harrison
Blaze was quite satisfied that the unpleasant sounds between Lillianne and Zephyr had disappeared as soon as he closed his eyes. He thought that he had left the place.
However, he turned out to be wrong. Instead of his room, he found himself in an unfamiliar place again.
'Where is this?'
"Blaze Davies is so damn annoying. He is always like that. Work, company, and money, that's all on his mind. He never cares me, even after becoming his wife."
Blaze looked a little stunned when the person he missed so much suddenly appeared in front of him. Yeah, she was Rhea Harrison, his beloved ex-wife. As if nothing bad had happened to her, she looked healthy. She was breathing just fine.
"R-Rhea, I-I m-miss you. Damn, how could you just leave me like that?" Blaze became emotional. He walked towards her, trying to hold her even though it was impossible. "Rhea, I really miss you. You should know that it feels hard without you. Rhe--"
"Rhea!"
Just as Blaze was about to caress her face, Rhea suddenly looked away when someone called her. Not long after, a man in a neat blue suit jogged towards her.
'That b*astard...'
Blaze's blood boiled because he could immediately recognize the man when he saw his face. He was Kendrick Caddel, the man who had put the heaviest burden on his brain lately.
'No, wait. Does this mean?'
Blaze was so nervous when he witnessed them facing each other.
"Where are you going? Don't tell me you are going to follow your husband home and leave the party just like that," said the man.
Blaze's hand itched to punch that annoying face. He didn't like the way the man looked at his wife. He was flirty with her.
"Of course not. Why would I do something like that?" Rhea snorted as she continued walking. Blaze just realized that she was staggering a little. She seemed to be drunk. "I am not someone boring like him, you know? He already has been rich, but I don't understand how he is still so crazy about money that he doesn't want to take a break even for a while," she added while sipping the beverage from the glass she had been holding since then.
"That's true. What's the use of money when you can't even have fun, right? Your husband seemed to forget that."
Kendrik Caddel followed her again. He accompanied her to a bench located on the balcony of the building. Meanwhile, the party continued to be lively inside.
Blaze caught up with the two. He was getting more uncomfortable with this, but he decided to face it. It was the main reason he went back to the past in the first place.
"But, more than that, do you know what I learn, Rhea?" That annoying Kendrick Caddel spoke to her again. "That means he doesn't really care about you, at least compared to his work. I mean, I understand that he is so busy and has work waiting for him, but how can he just abandon you like this? He should known better."
'This jerk. He didn't even have shame even a little,' Blaze could only complain.
Blaze had hoped she would defend him, but instead, the woman pouted at the other man. "You are right. Even you understand, how can he be so insensitive? I mean, it's not like I want him to accompany me all the time. I know he is so busy. But... he can't even give me that. I have tried my best to impress him, but how could he not see that at all?"
Her statement was so strong that it made Blaze lose for words. Feelings of guilt immediately came over him.
'Yeah, I was so stupid. How could I not see that? I should have understood you better. However, give me a chance, Rhea. Please stand up now and walk away from him. Don't do anything that will ruin all the memories we have,' he begged even though he wouldn't be heard.
"Well, just forget about him at least for tonight. Don't turn blue, Rhea. That color doesn't suit you." Kendrick called to the waitress who was passing nearby to come closer. He then took a bottle of alcoholic beverage from his tray. "We'd better just enjoy this beautiful evening, don't you think?"
Rhea didn't need to be offered twice. She smiled back at Kendrick as she tipped her glass against his.
It was then like a movie scene in a DVD player. The scene ran fast as if someone was pressing the remote control. He witnessed how the two of them initially joked, laughed together, and then ended up kissing each other. Blaze swore he saw that Rhea approached the man first.
'It was because she was drunk. She was so disappointed with him that she ended up going the wrong way.' Damn, excuses like that were unacceptable. Rhea clearly went too far.
"Let's find somewhere quieter. It's too noisy here," Kendrick whispered seductively before taking his wife with him.
Blaze didn't even have the energy to watch the next scene. He had found the answer he was looking for. He had had enough.

The next he opened his eyes again, it still wasn't his room. He found himself in a speeding car. Rhea, who was heavily pregnant, was seen sitting next to him and holding the steering wheel. She talked on the phone.
'W-What are you doing now, Rhea? Are you crazy?!' Blaze shouted as he grabbed the grab handle. He forgot that he could not die in this world.
"There is no other way," said Rhea with a sad and depressed expression. She cried hard. "No, it's not. I told you that I've tested it many times. I even flew to London on purpose just for that. But all the same, it doesn't match Blaze's DNA."
Too much happened today. Blaze didn't even have the energy to react anymore. He just listened to the conversation.
"No, he will realize it sooner or later. I won't be able to lie to him forever. And if that happens... if that happens... I don't think I will be able to face it." The car's speed felt faster after that. "I deliberately broke the brakes on my car, so this would be considered suicide. During that time you just need to keep it secret. You must never say what we talked about, especially to Blaze. Please fulfill my request. This is the last one."
Rhea hung up the call after saying that. The speed of the car then became faster than ever.
"R-Rhea, h-how could you? At least if you didn't care about me, how could you hurt Evelyn like this? Not even animals are this cruel to their babies."
Blaze again ignored the fact that he couldn't be heard. He conveyed all his concerns about the woman he loved so much, hoping that this would be useful.
But, it was not. The woman's decision was final. Fate also had made its choice.
The concrete of a bridge was the last thing Blaze remembered before closing his eyes again.
