Getting Stronger
Everyone was shocked. They were all panic over what happened.
Even the perpetrator, Blaze Davies, still didn't believe what happened. Meanwhile, Lillianne and Elara still haven't registered what they witnessed.
"El, help me..."
Lilliane was the first to come to her senses. She then aimed at several surveillance cameras around there and then approached two witnesses who happened to be passing by in the quiet corridor. Elara did the same thing to another who was about to run for help.
"W-What are you doing?"
Blaze didn't expect it when the two women paralyzed the witnesses with their power. Without even breaking a sweat, the three people immediately fell unconscious.
"W-Wait, wait, what is this? Are you killing them?!" Blaze approached Lillianne to stop her. "It's not too late. I did it by accident. Jake Bolton might still be saved--"
"It's okay. I won't kill them, though. I will just erase the memory of what they just saw," said Lillianne, still concentrating on the unlucky lovers.
"What?"
Even though he was still shocked, Blaze left her to check on Jake Bolton. The man didn't move at all. Even when he touched his pulse, he didn't feel it beating.
"No way. I killed him."
"Are you done there, Anne? Help me here."
Blaze cast his gaze at Elara who was several meters away from them. Because he was too shocked, he was late in registering how another employee of his was also not a human being like Lillianne. He was amazed again at how they disguised themselves so well that he didn't notice them.
The two witnesses suddenly got up after Lillianne touched them. As if they were hypnotized, both of them moved stiffly like robots. Their eyes looked empty and lifeless.
"No way this happened..."
Blaze glanced at Lillianne who was taking care of the remaining witnesses that Elara had knocked out earlier. She did the same thing to him and the result was the same. That person suddenly stood up and left the place in the same manner.
"You have to hurry, Anne. Someone else could come. Do it now. I will take care the rest," said Elara a moment later as she stood up. The moment she met Blaze's eyes, the woman then respectfully bowed to him.
Lillianne then approached him who still looked unsteady.
"Please try to do something, Leander. Now only you can do it," Lillianne said when she was in front of him.
"W-What?" Blaze had no clue. "W-what can I do?"
"Like I said earlier, you just have to imagine it. Imagine you taking me and his body from this place. Anywhere. Just think about it."
"W-What? B-But, I-I can't--"
"No. You can. You just didn't try it. Now close your eyes, concentrate, and think about it. NOW!"
No matter how confused and unsure Blaze was, he thought he had to act because it was the only way. He might just need to push his luck on this.
Then he tried it. Just like how he had freely returned to those strange dreams just by closing his eyes and thinking about it, he was doing the same thing now.
"To my private mansion in Miami," he muttered while focusing more on his mind.

Lillianne actually believed that Blaze would succeed, but of course, there were still doubts in her heart. However, when she found that they had moved in the blink of an eye, she was so speechless. She couldn't believe this day would come.
"I-It... works?"
Meanwhile, Blaze Davies still seemed to be having difficulty adapting to all of this. His face looked completely confused.
"Yeah, it is, Leander. You did it."
Lillianne jumped up to hug him, feeling very moved by all this. Luckily Blaze didn't reject her at all. Even though the man still seemed bewildered and didn't know what he should do, he let her cling to him.
"You are back, Leander. I knew it. Today was destined to happen," she tearfully looked at him. "See? You just need to believe me, then you will see for yourself," she added.
Blaze thought about that. It seemed to be the point where he had to believe everything Lillianne said. Previously, he still suspected that Lillianne was manipulating his brain with all those dreams, but this time things were different. He could feel that there was indeed power hidden within him.
"Okay, we will talk about that later. We have to think about this matter first." Lillianne finally paid attention to the third figure among them. He just lay on the cold floor.
"W-What should we do to him? C-Can... can we bring him back to life? Like you did earlier, we can manipulate his brain as if this never happened," said the CEO hopefully.
"Unfortunately, that's not something we can do. Not even for an alpha king like you." Lillianne killed his hope. "It's too late now. All we can do is manipulate this into an unlucky tragedy that humans believe it to be."
"Like what?"
"This is quite an advantageous way of dying for us. There are no signs of violence on his body, other than something that happened due to an accident. Maybe we can make it look like he fell in the bathroom or something," answered Lillianne.
"But what about the people who saw him coming towards you? Apart from the two cameras, there must have been many people who caught his arrival. Will they believe it?"
"That's an easy thing. We can always manipulate it later. But, accidents like this usually don't lead to that deep of an investigation, though. I can handle it."
Blaze fell silent again. Everything was truly beyond reason.
"I still can't believe that I killed someone like this," he said. His head bowed deeply.
"It's harsh, but for demons like us it's not something that can be avoided. It's the law of the jungle. Moreover, he has crossed the line, though. I honestly would have eliminated him if this hadn't happened."
It's hard to believe that such words would come from an angel like her. Blaze found that his conscience was against it, but he didn't want to comment much. His head hurt too much to think about it all at the same time.
"So, what should we do now?" he asked.
"Let's do it like before. Just try to imagine it, then it might happen. This time think about us being in his bathroom or something..."
