Another Unexpected Event

It was another long dream for Blaze Davies. He witnessed how Lillianne and Dashiell fell in love with each other. Unfortunately, it didn't last long when Zephyr appeared and destroyed everything.
He thought it would end there, but he drifted into another dream instead. This time, he found himself in a place with an ancient Asian setting. He then saw Lillianne again with another man who looked like him. Someone she called Prince Ki Yong.
'This is awesome. Even though he has Asian features, I still see my face in his. No wonder Lillianne could recognize him as Leander's second reincarnation.'
Like an only watcher in a cinema, Blaze exclusively witnessed their love story. The impression was the same as the previous film he watched. It started sweetly but ended in disaster.
"What's with this dude? Why does he keep appearing out of nowhere?" Blaze couldn't hold back his anger. His hands were tightly clenched. It itched to punch the antagonist, but he couldn't do it.
So, he became a bystander again who witnessed the cruelty. Even though there were no scenes of sword slashes or being ganged up on by hungry werewolves, the ending was still the same. He must have watched Lillianne cry pitifully before being heartlessly dragged away by Zephyr.
It was the last moment before he closed his eyes again.

"Lillianne..."
Blaze gasped as he opened his eyes again, finding he was back in his room this time. He quickly got up. His whole body was sweaty and panting like he had just run fast, so he needed water to cool his head.
However, he still thought about those dreams.
'Third reincarnation, huh? I don't know if this was Lillianne's trick, but it was exactly what she told me. It's all the same.' He rubbed his head. It felt wet with his sweat. 'Argh, f*ck! This makes me even more confused. I can't hold it in anymore.'
The man jumped out of bed and headed for the bathroom.

"Haaaaah..."
Lillianne sighed quite loudly. That made Elara immediately look at her friend.
"What's wrong, bestie?" asked the latter. "What are you thinking now?"
"I just seemed to have lost my way. At first I thought that after telling Blaze about us things would be easier, but it wasn't like that. I fired a lot of bullets but I don't think all of them hit the target. In the end, I am left confused about the next step," muttered Lillianne, who was still tired.
Elara frowned. "What do you mean? Can you put it in a simpler way? You are confusing me."
"I don't know what else to do with Leander. I mean, after I told him everything, I thought things would be easier because he would start to remember me, but that's not what happened. Nothing has changed with him, while we have to deal with complicated matters regarding Evelyn Davies and Kendrick Caddel," she said.
Elara also sighed. She related Liliianne's feeling. She felt the same way.
"Maybe you have to solve his daughter's problem first. I mean, the secret from his wife might really shake him up if he finds out the truth and will wake him up. Usually a change that big requires a big trigger."
Lillianne instead glanced at her with a frown. "You mean, in the end it was his late wife who opened it to him, not me?"
Elara stuttered. "T-That's not what I meant. Of course, you are the most influential because it was all your work anyway," she said trying not to say the wrong thing. "The important thing is that you shouldn't give up. You did a good thing anyway. I am sure the results will be good too."
Lillianne didn't say anything. She still didn't feel any better, but she gained strength from Elara's words. She had come too far to just stop like that, especially that she had found Leander's reincarnation again and was getting closer to him. She just needed to try harder.
"We are late. Let's go now," she said to her friend as she got up. The time to go to work has come.
The two secretaries of Pageant Corp company officials came out of their apartment. The advantage of working in the same place means they often go and come home together.
Lillianne felt her cell phone vibrate as soon as she got on the elevator. She sighed in annoyance when she realized who had sent her the message.
Mike Bolton: Will you stop ignore me like this? I am starting to get sick with this humiliation, you know?
"Argh, looks like I have to get rid of this bastard. I am starting to get fed up with him. He never understands when I say no," she complained shortly.
"Who?" Elara peeked at her cell phone. She soon sighed as well. "Just do it. You are just using him to attract His Majesty Leander's attention anyway. You already got it. So, you don't need him anymore."
"I think I will do that. After all, Leander also has known my true identity. That might also be beneficial in terms of work too, because we don't have to deal with him even if he drags this matter into the professionalism."
Ding!
The elevator door finally opened. Lillianne was about to step out, but she suddenly stopped. She didn't expect that the person they had just talked about would suddenly appear there.
"S-Sir--"
"Follow me!"
"What the... let her go!"
The situation suddenly became chaotic when Mike Bolton suddenly dragged Lillianne away. Elara, who was shocked, tried to stop them.
Lillianne had had enough. She would show no mercy to this lowly human.
"Let go of me--"
"Stop it, b*astard!"
Another surprise occurred, when Blaze Davies appeared out of nowhere. He pulled Mike Bolton's hand away from his secretary, but it seemed stronger than expected.
The man in his late 40s was thrown quite far, about ten meters, and hit the wall behind him. The force was so powerful that it made the wall crack. It crushed the man instanly.
It was straight up chaos.
Everyone who saw initially gaped in disbelief at first, then hysterical screams were heard everywhere. Meanwhile, Blaze Davies was more shocked than anyone. He looked at his trembling hands, couldn't believe what he had done.
"Leander!" Lillianne shouted while approaching him. She quickly grabbed both of his hands and checked them. "W-What happened? Did you get your powers back?"
