Should I?

Blaze waited long enough for Lillianne to come out of Evelyn's room. He was also anxious to find out what they were talking about, hoping it would help him to approach his beloved daughter again.
Finally, the door opened after about an hour. His secretary appeared from it.
"How is that?" he asked curiously. He tried to peek at his daughter inside, but couldn't be seen from his position.
"Let's talk outside," Lillianne said as she pulled him away. Blaze obeyed without saying anything.
Without them realizing it, someone had been secretly paying attention to them. She was Evelyn's nanny who first met Lillianne as the homeroom teacher at school.
'I still don't understand how they know each other and are even close.' She frowned. However, she then smiled, 'But I think it's a good thing. This is my first time seeing Mr. Davies with another woman after his wife. They look good together. Ms. Guinn also seems nice and even Miss Evelyn likes her.'

"Actually, Evelyn didn't say much. She immediately asked me about the man, then got angry when I told her that he was arrested by the police. She also blamed you for that," said Lillianne as soon as they left the big house. Behind it is a garden. It was the perfect place for them to talk without anyone hearing.
Blaze sighed in annoyance at that. "Just what did that b*stard say to her that made her defend him so much? What did he say to brainwash her?"
"I don't know either, but... he seems to have really been observing Evelyn long enough for him to take advantage of things about her. Especially about the beach, it's very effective."
"I could do that too. I even had a beach house that I bought especially for her. But she kept rejecting me and instead ended up siding with another man because of that." Blaze was increasingly unable to contain his frustration.
"But he is afraid to take you there because of the trauma she feels. We can't force her because her mindset might be more complicated than it seems," Lillinne tried to reassure him.
"Then what should I do to fix everything? How to make her believe me and stop defending the kidnapper?"
Lillianne fell silent. As much as she wanted to comfort Blaze about it, she was afraid it wouldn't change anything. Evelyn probably still loves him more than anyone else in the world despite everything. Kendrick Caddel was nothing more than a kind stranger to her.
However, what if the fact is revealed that the kidnapper is the person who has the most right to Evelyn more than him? That would be very chaotic.
'Even though that's what I was waiting for. I also want this human drama to end so he can focus on his real self. But... I know it will be hard for him.'
"I tried to talk to her about it. She seems to be starting to understand, but it might still take some time for her to open up to you again. Just wait." That's what she finally said.
Blaze took a deep breath at that.

'Kendrick Caddel seems serious about his threats. I got a tip that he is indeed preparing a custody lawsuit against your daughter. He seems very confident about that.'
Blaze took a deep breath remembering his conversation with his lawyer. That made him unable to work.
Images of last night's strange experience also came into his head. At first, he didn't believe it at all, though. He just thought that Kendrick Caddel was just a weirdo who wasn't worth his time. However, his considerations had begun to change since those dreams.
'No, no. It's still not real but a manipulation created by Lillianne Guinn in my head. I can't be shaken that easily. I know Rhea very well, though. I couldn't be wrong about her.'
He decided to leave the room. At the same time, Evelyn's Nanny just came out of her daughter's room.
"She just fell asleep, sir. She also had eaten and taken her medicines beforehand," the nanny informed him without being asked.
Blaze nodded. "Okay, thanks for your hard work. You should rest now."
"Thank you, sir."
After the nanny left, Blaze approached her daughter's room. That was the only time he could do it because Evelyn continued to object to his presence there.
Her daughter seemed to have fallen asleep. Even though Blaze wanted to come closer and hug her, he held back. He didn't want to disturb her rest. It would also only make his little girl hate him even more.
'Don't be angry with me for too long, princess. Let's talk.'
He had enough. He planned to leave there immediately. His longing was relieved by seeing Evelyn even just briefly.
However, something caught his attention that made him stretch out his intention. He transfixed looking at a dressing table located in the corner of the room. There was Evelyn's comb lying on top of it. He even saw that there were a few strands of hair left there.
Blaze looked hesitant. He needed to consider it for a long time.
'Should I?'

Just as Blaze closed his eyes, he heard voices. At first, he thought it was just the sound of the TV or something, but then he remembered about new changes in his life.
"What the f*ck..."
He found himself in a strange place again. It seemed like the power had come back to take him even without his will.
"But, where is this?" he asked while looking around.
He could tell it was not his memory. It was definitely not from modern times judging from the surroundings, maybe a memory of the said Leander in his past.
"Dashiell!"
The familiar voice made him turn his head. He caught the figure of Lillianne jogging happily in his direction.
"She is so beautiful," he mumbled, unconsciously smiling. His eyes followed the woman's every movement.
The woman approached a man in shabby clothes who was feeding a horse. He initially turned his back to her, but immediately turned around when Lillianne tapped him on the shoulder. Instantly, Blaze's eyes widened when she caught the man's face.
"T-That's me!" He exclaimed in disbelief.
