Liar Liar III
Alejandro's POV
"Alejandro."
My shoulders tense and I freeze at the sound of Marco's hard voice. I turn around with a glare, one that dies down when I see the look on his face.
It takes me back and I can't do anything but instantly somber up, "What is it?"
Marco sighs looking down at the page before looking back up at me."I'm certain she has a learning disorder."
Camila's POV
"Ha! Gotcha bitch!" I exclaim jumping up and down as my avatar finishes the race. And to think this little shit thought I couldn't do it.
"No fair, you cheated!" My opponent says as he narrows his beady little eyes at me.
With a scoff I turn to look down at him before I cup my ear and look around. "Do you hear that? Sounds like a sore loser to me." I pout before bending down on my knees to reach his face.
His face thats beet red in anger as he stomps his little foot. But then the brat steps forward and pushes me back.
The impact does little to make me budge, considering he's nine and half my size, but if we weren't in public I would push him back ten times harder.
Instead I step forward and glare down at tomato face, "Listen here you little shit. I won fair and square. It's not my fault your fat little fingers couldn't move fast enough."
I then go to grab the tickets from the arcade machine but he beats me to it, holding them away from me.
This is why I fucking hate kids.
"No!" He yells looking up at me before sticking his tongue out. I grit my teeth, having had enough of the boy who I've been competing with for the past hour, who refuses to believe I beat him.
"I want a rematch." He declares.
Rolling my eyes I blink down at him, "No. You've said that the past five times. Now give me the tickets or else my friend over there will beat it out of you." I say narrowing my eyes.
The kid scoffs and crosses his arms as he turns his head to look towards the grown man that's competing with a group of twelve year old girls in a game of dance dance revolution.
Dammit. I knew I should have had Marco bring me here instead of Ethan.
Marco's height and build accompanied by the scowl on his face had the ability to have anyone shaking in their boots. And right now I could really use his intimidating facade because right now Ethan looks like a giant sweaty puppy.
My attention snaps back to the little shit who's smiling triumphantly up at me with the tickets in his chubby little hands. "Now rematch or go away you ugly beast because I'll tell my dad on you if you don't." He says.
My face drops and I step forward. "Ugly beast?" I scoff. "I could probably pull anyone, including your dad." I mimic. I was holding myself back because he was merely a child. But even kids need to be put in their places.
"So go call your dad." I pout stepping closer to the boy, "And when he gets here, I bet you he won't think I'm an ugly beast. Infact just because you said that I'm going to smile and have him leaving your mommy for me before you can even say 'bazookah'." I take another step, my tone turning lethal.
"And then you know what? I'll be your step mom and I'll make sure to do it with your dad on every surface of your house 24/7 just to traumatize you." I snap, before squaring my shoulders, crossing my arms and starting down at the wide eyed boy. "Now, unless you want to be scarred for life, give me the tickets."
I smile when he throws the tickets at me but then my smile drops the second he bursts into tears before me and drops to the ground.
Looking around I note how his growing tanturm is starting to draw attention to us. So with a nervous smile, I take a few steps back and walk away from the kid.
He was not my problem.
But before I can even make it to the prize line, Ethan's running up to me and frantically pulling me towards the exit. "We gotta go, Tweety."
"What?!" I exclaim in protest, "I haven't even gotten my prize." I say but he ignores me and continues to pull me towards the car.
However half way through the parking lot he eventually glances back at me. "No can do. Alejandro called and said it was urgent." He says pushing me into the car.
And then when he gets into the front seat, he pauses and turns towards me, a sheepish smile on his face. "Also if anyone asks, I was watching you the whole time."
. . .
I was told Alejandro needed to see me and had Ethan not informed me it was urgent I would have walked away and continued to ignore the man.
But since it was urgent, I had decided to be mature and walk into his office with my head held high. However the idiot didn't even turn to move his gaze from the window to me.
He was faced away from me, giving me a good view of his muscular back and the tense muscles beneath the black material of his dress shirt.
His muscles were rigid and his shoulders were squared. Everything about his body language told me that he was serious and very much the dominant man I hated dealing with.
Alejandro doesn't even turn around when he speaks. "Sit down." His voice is firm, yet he's oddly calm and collected.
The strong tone of his voice was something I hadn't heard in the past few days considering he was overcompensating for leaving me that night.
But I guess his patience had run out.
I grit my teeth but take a seat on the chair, not daring to speak. I was still hurt and angry, but I would be lying if I said he didn't have an affect on me anymore.
Because he did. Alejandro always had some sort of power over me.
He turns around, allowing me to come face first with him for the first time in days.
Not the distant, patient Alejandro that I've been brushing off, no I come face first with the dominant Alejandro who I knew wasn't going to be taking any my shit.
The same man who had the ability to make my facade crumble with one glance.
