Skeletons in the closet IV
Camila's POV
I look up to see William standing above me, the gun in his hand and his eyes livid. "What did you do?! Where is that sound coming from?!" He screams.
I cradle my wrist and cry out in pain and when he realizes that the noise is coming from my bracelet he charges towards me.
"No!" I scream as he drops down onto the ground. He reaches for my wrist, but I curl further into myself on the floor, hiding my wrist. He was going to have to kill me before he got mama's bracelet.
My mind is spinning and my movements are delayed, but I still work through it all.
The pounding in my head.
The ringing of the bracelet.
The feeling of his hands gripping onto me.
The sudden bang coming from the door.
Williams movements stop, and when I hear the door burst open, I look up and and cry out in relief when I make out Alejandro's familiar form.
His large frame stands in the doorway and at the sound of my chocked cry, his head snaps in our direction and surprise flickers across his face before it hardens as he takes in the scene before him.
I don't have to do or say anything else because the next thing I know, Alejandro's gun is raised at Williams head. But before he can do anything Williams shoving the barrel of his gun into my mouth and screaming up at Alejandro from his spot near me on the floor.
"Don't move!" He screams at Alejandro and when William's hand moves to the side of my shoulder, he pushes the shard of glass deeper into my arm and I scream, but it's muffled by the gun in my mouth.
Alejandro's eyes flicker all over my face and when his gaze travels to where William's hand is pushing the shard of glass into my arm, he stills and his shoulders tense.
"Don't move or I swear I'll shoot her!" He cries, staring up at Alejandro who stops and stares at William.
"Close the door!" William screams and with a tight jaw Alejandro kicks his foot back and shuts the door behind him.
He watches William and then his attentive gaze moves down to scan his form, he's still in his boxers and when he trails down my body, I can see his eyes flare but he still remains calm and unbothered.
"How about we put our guns away and you can tell me what you want?" Alejandro says, his voice calm and controlled as his eyes briefly flicker to the gun in my mouth.
A sense of comfort washes over me, knowing that he wasn't scared but I flinch when William's loud screams fill the room. "You don't make the demands, I do!" And then he glares at Alejandro. "Drop your weapon."
Alejandro's eyes narrow in annoyance and when he doesn't drop his gun, William pushes the shard of glass further into my arm and I choke on a sob while trying to control my breathing.
Alejandro's jaw ticks but he slowly leans down and places his gun on the floor while he holds his arms up and kicks the gun away. It slides under the console table near the door and he straightens out to his full height.
Unlike William, he's calm and his body language tells me that he's not scared but he's on guard. "What is it you're looking to achieve here, William?" Alejandro questions slowly, his voice demanding and his eyes flickering between my arm and the gun.
William instantly stands, and I take a deep breath as he pulls the gun out of my mouth and points it towards Alejandro.
Alejandro doesn't look the least bit bothered, instead he looks forward at William but his voice is directed towards me. "Vieni qui, Principessa." He commands softly. (Come over here, Princess.)
I make a move to crawl over towards him but William stops me by placing a foot on my wrist, right on top of mamá's diamond bracelet.
"What are you saying to her?!" William yells.
Alejandro's eyes narrow as he glances down at Williams foot resting on my wrist, before he moves his head back to stare at him.
His composure doesn't crack, "I told her to move away. She shouldn't see what's about to happen." He explains simply.
William nods, his gaze not wavering from Alejandro. "Move away, Pumpkin. I don't want you to see this." He says lifting his foot and I instantly find myself rolling onto my stomach and crawling towards Alejandro as William continues to speak.
"I want you to let us get out of here! No one can touch us or follow us. And you're gonna tell those thugs outside to let us go." William spits.
I crawl forward until I'm pressed up near the door and against the legs of the console table. I manage to lift myself up with extreme difficulty, positioning my back against the door.
"You and I both know I can't do that." Alejandro says slowly. From my position Alejandro's back is to me and I have a clear view of William pointing the gun at him.
I also catch a glimpse of the gun buried in the waistband of Alejandro's slacks from behind.
I notice his hand slowly itching down but his movements are careful and slow enough that it's going undetected by the hysterical man.
My head is spinning and my body is shaking but I still slowly move my hand down and slip it beneath the console table to feel around for Alejandro's gun.
"If you don't, I'll kill you and then I'll kill everyone out there. I don't care what it takes, I'm taking my Cam away."William screams as tears stream down his face.
Alejandro's voice is soft and I watch as his hand starts to inch closer towards his back. He stares ahead but once again is speaking to me. "Copriti gli occhi, piccola." (Cover your eyes, baby.)
William screams again. "Don't talk to her-"
But before Alejandro can reach into his back for his gun, the piercing sound of a bullet being fired fills the small room.
Followed by another one.
And another one.
And I don't stop until I watch William's body double over and his body falls right to the floor.
Three pools of blood start to form around his limp body and I drop the gun and examine my work.
One in his dick, one through his heart, and one through his skull.
I worked my way up and made sure he suffered a painful death.
Silence engulfs the room for a split second before the ringing in my head gets louder.
It's not from my bracelet or the ringing from the gun fire. No, this was a much slower one. One that made my vision hazy and black spots appear all over Alejandro's head as his concerned face filled my view.
I couldn't feel his touch nor could I hear his voice as his brown eyes stared into mine and his lips moved.
All I could feel was the numbness spreading through my body and all I could focus on was the slow ringing that suddenly came to a stop.
It all stopped.
